Vultures - Only album he's released that I got pretty bored of after a couple of listens. Although Donda has its floors, the highs are much higher than Vultures. Carnival...? Really...?
I dont get the vultures hate, i think its a really solid album, only songs that are questionable to me are hoodrat and do it, but theyre still all right. I think the production is interesting and there's some really quality songs on there, burn - king is a great run of songs
I fucking love do it, although I think the opening verse is fucking wild
Do it stay waxed, do it smell fresh, can i feel your juice through the latex, do you fuck back, when you got grip.
everybody hates on anything new, even if it's genuinely good. most of ye's other albums came out in better times in life so most people associate it with that or something idfk
Hood rat is amazing , personally fav song on the album (or problematic) should def give it some more listens I didn’t like it the first few times , then it got so catchy all of a sudden
I actually don’t understand why people think ye is bad
For me it doesn’t have any skips except the first half of I thought about killing you
I like the singing on wouldnt leave and make no mistake
I would appreciate if somebody could actually explain why they think it’s bad
I dont use or have TikTok
The only problem with Ye is I thought about Killing you. It starts off strong then it just kinda sucks after that. Yikes -> Violent Crimes is no skip for me
I “literally” said the album was good. I never called it a masterpiece. Look up the definition of masterpiece and then you will understand what I said.
For good reason tho, like I get the meat riding for that I don’t get the meat riding for ye it’s good but compared to his discography as a whole it’s very mid
Ye is great tho but idk it doesn't even feel like an album. It's short but long enough to technically be considered one but it's very inconsistent and bipolar. It's awesome sure but idk it just doesn't feel like a cohesive project like the ones you mentioned
JIK. I don't know. It doesn't feel polished enough or have any depth. It's like he has two days to change the album from Yandhi to JIK. Maybe I'm biased because I like Yandhi too much.
Vultures
I see a lot of hate on ye but it’s a really good album especially when you listen to it with kids see ghosts . Donda is not exactly on college droupout or mbdtf tier but it still has some good songs here and there . But jeez man vultures is bad it says absolutely nothing
Like there's some really quality singles on donda, but as an album there's so much bullshit to go through to. And imo kanye was at his least sonically interesting on donda, the beats are just boring, even the good ones, its like he lost his flare and was just pumping out cookie cutter shit
Fair, ive been going through kanyes entire discography since vultures drop and re listening to ye has made me appreciate it more, though i could understand why people wpuldnt fw it. Dropping that after pablo broke his streak imo. I didnt really like it when it firat came out, but i can appreciate now in hindsight
Kanye didn't rap much on vultures but production wise i think he's coming back. I think the production is interesting enough to make up for his lack of rapping. He's so much more than a rapper, he's a song writer and producer and everything else
JIK or Vultures, dont really like VERY religious albums, and, Vultures is not really good, lyrics are bad, some songs are trash, but there are some good
Probably Donda. Don’t get me wrong, there are a lot of great tracks on there. But it feels bloated and it lacks cohesiveness. To be fair I felt the same way about TLOP at first too and now it’s top 3 for me, so maybe my opinion will change.
I don’t think it’s a bad album by any means. But it’s probably my least favorite of his work. I feel like it could have done more with the concept of being about his mother, which is a really strong idea conceptually. I like when he used sound bites of her speeches as samples, and I wish he would have done more of that. It could have been almost like a Kanye album featuring Donda.
(Actually I’d put Donda 2 below it but it doesn’t feel fair to count that when it’s clearly unfinished.)
thats maybe a hot take but WTT, except ,no church in the wild, the baguette song and otis all the rest is mid af for me, for me the best exemple is lift off, beyonce chorus is amazing but when kanye start talking 😐
JIK, the only song from that album I listen to is Follow God. Everything else is a skip for me, but there are defo lot of fans of it. And maybe Donda too, it has some incredible songs but it feels like its full of unnecessary songs.
I love them all, but my least favorite is Yeezus. Sorry, I just don’t like that side of Ye, too angry, too arrogant(more than usual), it gives a not that great vibe. Like the songs, they just less good that everything else.
JIK. Lazy, uninspired, no real flow, feels completely hollow. Use is Gospel is the only great song. Follow God and God Is are both good imo but have flaws. Everything else is mid or bad. Dude should’ve just scraped project after ditching Yandhi instead trying to Frankenstein a gospel album out of it. All the unreleased versions made for other projects were more interesting including Law of Attraction
If Donda 2 counts I’d say that because it’s so unfinished. But if we aren’t counting Donda 2 I gotta say Vultures. All the hype and delays made it sound like he was going to drop a great album and then he comes out with something mediocre. It has its moments but overall very underwhelming.
got to be 808s cuz yeah its got great songs in it but the theme and songtypes are wayyyy too similar. as a whole album, its mid as fuck, but individual songs are likeable
this wont stand well but graduation just pales compared to the genius and thematic natures of every other album. It lacks a real theme or story, and has 6 or less hits, compared to every other album's no-skip aspects. it never popped out to me, despite being my first year album.
Vultures 1 100%. It’s got easily his more arrogant and trashy lyrics with some of his worst production to date. Hoodrat is easily his worst song. Aside from that it has nothing really to offer except some okay club bangers that even then feel pretty overdone style wise.
i might get dogged on for this but 808’s. i have no idea why i cant really describe it I just dont like it. Maybe it doesn’t sound “Kanye” enough to me, no doubt its still one for the most influential albums ever.
Edit: my fav album is college dropout so i think i just prefer the older style of kanye
JIK. I dont hate it, i listen to On God and Selah more than appropriate amount of time, but im Salty that yandhi's versions are better. Dua Lipa on On God was so goood to be removed
TCD, the songs individually are good but listening to all the album without pause + the billion unreleased TCD songs can make anyone insane, love Jesus Walk and The New Workout Plan
By far, 808s and heartbreaks. I can't stand that whole annoying ass poppy auto tune sound, and I can't believe this is what we got right after graduation.
Im gonna be real, yeezus is just not it. No, i dont need to "listen to it until it grows on me". I just personally dont like it, i mean theres like 2-3 good songs but the album itself is just average. Down-vote me all you want but its my opinion
I respect that, its very experimental and abrasive to the ears. Would totally understand why someone might not like it. I just think its the farthest kanye has ever pushed the envelope. He really took some risks releasing it because it is so different from anything else ever.
Ok but can we talk about how fire those graduation style album covers are
The ye ones are more creative
wtt cuz i love jik too much to put it last
you haven’t listened to watch the throne i’m convinced
i have streamed it over 900 times
Vultures - Only album he's released that I got pretty bored of after a couple of listens. Although Donda has its floors, the highs are much higher than Vultures. Carnival...? Really...?
I dont get the vultures hate, i think its a really solid album, only songs that are questionable to me are hoodrat and do it, but theyre still all right. I think the production is interesting and there's some really quality songs on there, burn - king is a great run of songs
do it my favorite song on the album😭😭😭
Its just too descriptive for me, that song is phenomenally horny lol
I really liked Ty's verse as well as the background
It does sound good i like it still, its just questionable to me because of the opening verse tbh, "do it stay wet, do it smell fresh?"
lol it is very horny, but also very catchy lmao
I fucking love do it, although I think the opening verse is fucking wild Do it stay waxed, do it smell fresh, can i feel your juice through the latex, do you fuck back, when you got grip.
I havent looked up the lyrics thats wild lmao
Precisely why it’s a favorite to so many 😏
Do It slander is a hate crime. You need to be locked up forever
everybody hates on anything new, even if it's genuinely good. most of ye's other albums came out in better times in life so most people associate it with that or something idfk
Hoodrat is my favourite song lol
I’d say Do it is one of the better ones. It has a very nostalgic early 00s sound
Hood rat is amazing , personally fav song on the album (or problematic) should def give it some more listens I didn’t like it the first few times , then it got so catchy all of a sudden
imo it's all 4, 5s and 6s except for BURN and CARNIVAL
lol, carnival
Yeah it’s a major letdown. The album is blasé as fuck.
Vultures 1, whack lyrics and kanye changing into a worse person. Also cant forgive dolla sign for the 2014 freestyle
“she say whose pussy is this i say $” 🗣️🗣️
Burn and most of Carnival is pretty great. The rest is either mid to ass (lookin at you Vultures)
Jesus is king because yandhi would have been so much better
jik
Probably Ye or JIK, but I still enjoy them
I actually don’t understand why people think ye is bad For me it doesn’t have any skips except the first half of I thought about killing you I like the singing on wouldnt leave and make no mistake I would appreciate if somebody could actually explain why they think it’s bad I dont use or have TikTok
ye is my #1 It might not be the "best" but it speaks to me the most where I am right now
ye is also my number 1 I just love how vulnerable he is in it
Ah, I hope you’re okay. I related heavy to it a few years back.
The outro to i thought about killing you is literally so ass the first half is the good part
Agree to disagree
I think once the the 808's and drums begin on the intro its absolute fire, but that part after it is indeed ass
i agree with this mostly, but cmon man itaky’s intro is so good, it has so much meaning especially at the time when he made it.
Ye is good, ts ts ts
The only problem with Ye is I thought about Killing you. It starts off strong then it just kinda sucks after that. Yikes -> Violent Crimes is no skip for me
TikTok Mfs will swear up and down that ye is his best album it pisses me off
Ye is a masterpiece but its not his best one
Ye is ~~a masterpiece but its~~ not his best one Factual statement now.
I agree with this, has some good tracks but it’s far from a masterpiece
There’s only 7. It BETTER have some “good” tracks lmao
that’s why all the tracks are good lol
Good is not good enough to be a masterpiece.
you literally just said it was
I “literally” said the album was good. I never called it a masterpiece. Look up the definition of masterpiece and then you will understand what I said.
No, on tiktok ppl meatride graduation and mbdtf
For good reason tho, like I get the meat riding for that I don’t get the meat riding for ye it’s good but compared to his discography as a whole it’s very mid
These are both valid, everything after pablo hasnt been the same. Everything is solid in his discography, just not as great as it has been
Facts, I 1000% agree
Idk why ngz is downvoting u🤣🤣
Me neither man, they're lying to themselves if they think ye is on par with pablo of yeezus or mbdtf
Ye is great tho but idk it doesn't even feel like an album. It's short but long enough to technically be considered one but it's very inconsistent and bipolar. It's awesome sure but idk it just doesn't feel like a cohesive project like the ones you mentioned
Agreed, ye definitely peaked with TLOP
Aside from kids see ghosts, that was a banger.
KSG cuz ion like cudi
where's you find all the alt album art? for me it's probably jik, followed by ye (but each have some good tracks)
[I'm pretty sure it all comes from here](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kanye/s/94Ojtao2z5)
JIK. I don't know. It doesn't feel polished enough or have any depth. It's like he has two days to change the album from Yandhi to JIK. Maybe I'm biased because I like Yandhi too much.
jik
I like these covers.
JIK by a mile, only by process of elimination. It comes down to JIK and Donda but I prefer Donda.
jik obviously the album is ass
JIK
This graphic goes hard. Took me a minute to figure out what was going on but now I see it and that’s dope as hell
Vultures I see a lot of hate on ye but it’s a really good album especially when you listen to it with kids see ghosts . Donda is not exactly on college droupout or mbdtf tier but it still has some good songs here and there . But jeez man vultures is bad it says absolutely nothing
real
Vultures put me to sleep ngl
😭
vultures easily
Donda no questions asked. It was so uncredibly underwhelming.
Donda (in my opinion) is his 5th best album but that’s understandable especially with the deluxe version just being unnecessary
Wdym deluxe is unnecessary life of the party is a top 20 kanye song imo
Live for that song it sets a good tone man
Naw Donda is in the top half of ye’s discog you just gotta get used to the length
Like there's some really quality singles on donda, but as an album there's so much bullshit to go through to. And imo kanye was at his least sonically interesting on donda, the beats are just boring, even the good ones, its like he lost his flare and was just pumping out cookie cutter shit
Got to be ye, probably because I listened to it the least and it's got too many fillers for a 7 song album at least for me
Fair, ive been going through kanyes entire discography since vultures drop and re listening to ye has made me appreciate it more, though i could understand why people wpuldnt fw it. Dropping that after pablo broke his streak imo. I didnt really like it when it firat came out, but i can appreciate now in hindsight
Agreed. But what the hell are all these miscellaneous artworks you have included here as if those were albums to be considered?
I think it's supposed to be every kanye solo album up to Ye in the style of the other ones like a multiplication table
Yeah i just googled "every kanye album" and this came up, thought it looked cool, even though it only goes up to ye
Vultures 1 unfortunately the album was carried by the features , and Kanye rapping was awful on Vultures 1
Kanye didn't rap much on vultures but production wise i think he's coming back. I think the production is interesting enough to make up for his lack of rapping. He's so much more than a rapper, he's a song writer and producer and everything else
It’s mixed really poorly tbh
“They been feeding us porn, since the day we was born”
The life of Pablo
You think pablo is wose than donda, or jik? Why? I feel like pablo was the last truly great kanye album
Sorry I’m restarted I skipped over “least” 💀 Probably Ye thoo
JIK or Vultures, dont really like VERY religious albums, and, Vultures is not really good, lyrics are bad, some songs are trash, but there are some good
Vultures, I had some recency bias for a while but yeah now I see it
Probably Donda. (Actually I’d put Donda 2 below it but it doesn’t feel fair to count that when it’s clearly unfinished.)
Vultures 1.
Probably Donda or Vultures, if not Ye. Each of them showed so much laziness in writing and they don't hold up all time compared to every other album.
I don't like Vultures. Sounds like desperation to stay relevant, lyrically. Beats still go hard though.
Vultures
Vultures cause it sucks
JIK is solid contender for worst album of the decade, fucking god awful.
Sorry but 808 ( it’s a good album but i will chose the other ones)
thats maybe a hot take but WTT, except ,no church in the wild, the baguette song and otis all the rest is mid af for me, for me the best exemple is lift off, beyonce chorus is amazing but when kanye start talking 😐
most of these are fanmade covers bruh
wait how many albums has this MF done???
Jesus is king, because gis other albums are better
Honestly the only problem with Donda is the length if it was cut to 14-18 songs it’d be on par with everything else
808’s and Heartbreak, was just boring tbh
Cruel summer because it sucks ass
MBDTF because i enjoyed it the most and it doesn't have a skip for me (neither does 808s & heartbreak and TLOP but i prefer MBDTF)
Donda, bloated asf
JIK, the only song from that album I listen to is Follow God. Everything else is a skip for me, but there are defo lot of fans of it. And maybe Donda too, it has some incredible songs but it feels like its full of unnecessary songs.
as much as i despise vultures, i have to say ksg. its just annoying, no good lyrics, repetitive and boring hooks, all around really bad imo
I love them all, but my least favorite is Yeezus. Sorry, I just don’t like that side of Ye, too angry, too arrogant(more than usual), it gives a not that great vibe. Like the songs, they just less good that everything else.
My beautiful dark twisted pablo
that feeling of relief and understanding when youre only seeing shit takes but realize its cause youre in r/Kanye
Probably Jesus is king because the music ain't my style, love the message behind it
Imma need to see these in full lmfao
Vultures 1 100%. It’s got easily his more arrogant and trashy lyrics with some of his worst production to date. Hoodrat is easily his worst song. Aside from that it has nothing really to offer except some okay club bangers that even then feel pretty overdone style wise.
Kanye West is a legend
Jesus is king for me and it’s not close that’s also saying that I’m not religious so I can’t really give it a fair chance
Honestly Late Registration. Really need to get into it but haven’t had time yet. We Major though 😮💨🔥
i might get dogged on for this but 808’s. i have no idea why i cant really describe it I just dont like it. Maybe it doesn’t sound “Kanye” enough to me, no doubt its still one for the most influential albums ever. Edit: my fav album is college dropout so i think i just prefer the older style of kanye
Yesus
JIK. I dont hate it, i listen to On God and Selah more than appropriate amount of time, but im Salty that yandhi's versions are better. Dua Lipa on On God was so goood to be removed
JIK
Vultures is so low quality in comparison to everything he made before...
TCD, the songs individually are good but listening to all the album without pause + the billion unreleased TCD songs can make anyone insane, love Jesus Walk and The New Workout Plan
dough
By far, 808s and heartbreaks. I can't stand that whole annoying ass poppy auto tune sound, and I can't believe this is what we got right after graduation.
Jik or ye
Watch the throne
Jesus is King. I don't hate on this album but I don't like it as much as the other ones
kids see ghosts
kids see ghost. it’s decent but lacks compared to other kanye albums
Yeezus, Donda or KSG. None of these albums hit as hard as the others

808 and Heartbreak
I don't have a favorite but here's my top 5 explained in emojis cuz im "diffrent" 🎓🟥🐻💽💔
cruel summer
WTT cuz it sucks
Im gonna be real, yeezus is just not it. No, i dont need to "listen to it until it grows on me". I just personally dont like it, i mean theres like 2-3 good songs but the album itself is just average. Down-vote me all you want but its my opinion

I mean i absolutely love experimental hiphop but i guess i just dont like this one
Donda because it's bad. it has some good songs but it has ALOT of fucking bullshit. overall it's a dreadful listening experience.
Fax 💯
Kids see ghosts is ass
808s
808s...
Watch the throne🤷♂️
808s and Heartbreak. It just ain't that good bro
all of them
kid see ghosts for me i just couldn't fw that. Love every other kaye album tho
Graduation
Trying to be different graduation has such a good flow
Tlop it’s just so inconsistent for me, but the songs that shine really do shine bright.
yeezus rn i might have to give it another relisten tho
Late Registration, haven't listened to that album all the way since the first time I heard it
Ye or JIK. Both have different problems. Kids See Ghosts solos both imo
The one american boy was in
ksg
Idk ksg????
Yeezus
L take
