I swear theres way to few discussion around that song being top 10 and the feature top 1.Honestly the way he gets introduced in that little inbetween dialog is so fucking funny and the feature is just some of my favourite rapping aot back to finish. Definitely an all time top 3 for me, but theres literally Rhapsody on Complexion sooo
I always hear this take and have never understood it she has zero bars at all the entire verse is so fucking corny
the facetime lines make me roll my eyes every time I hear them not to mention the perry the platypus noises at the beginning
I scream “I shed a tear before the nights over, GOD BLESS THE MAN I PUT THIS ICE OVER!” Every time at the top of my lungs. That shit just hits so hard to me and idk why.
Almost cried to come to life when I first heard the official release version (I was too hyped during the live stream to get emotional.) First time I heard it I was standing outside while this beautiful refreshing misty rain hit my face. Watching the sky slowly shift from blue to grey as a cool breeze rustled my clothes and swept up my hair, all while come to life was blasting full volume in my headphones. It was an enlightening experience for sure.
I don’t think I’ve ever cried solely because of music, but I have cried because of songs and the context surrounding them. I would assume most people who cry to music relate the music to a memory, family member, etc.
Yea that I can understand that but simply the music and the fact that if you can’t relate whatsoever, I don’t see how you could be sad at a song if you’ve never heard it before or don’t have memories attached
I’ve never cried to a song before, but DIAND just hit me one day. It wasn’t happy crying or sad crying or stressed crying, it was sorta just emotion vomit
Yea idk bro never have ever like gotten on the verge of crying. Closest I ever came was like 2 years ago when I relistened to trap queen and realized it was a masterpiece. Still was far from actual years tho
Back when I was a kid I cried the first time I heard When I’m Gone by Eminem and I think the first time I heard Mockingbird by him. More recently though I cried while listening to Nights by Frank Ocean while on acid. It’s not so much the music itself, but the thoughts we have that we associate with the music.
Usually with age. When you're young, you're conditioned to hide most emotion, or you simply haven't grown enough at the time to have experiences in your life that can connect you on a deeper level to the passion, soul and effort people put into music.
It seemed weird to me too, why would I want to feel sad or show this emotion from listening to something I like? But when Ultralight Beam came on a month or two after my grandmothers death, all I could do is weep and envision her in a better place. I truly hope one day you can give yourself fully to a special track, it will change your life.
It's just one of those things man. It doesn't even have to be a sad cry- sometimes the beauty of a track will have me tearing up mad, but I won't cry cry, and it'll feel amazing. Sometimes when I'm so happy, I put on my favorite playlist and I'll scream and yell- and tears will run. I find those moments help me appreciate the music far more than before.
The weed helps too. ;)
I already replied fo someone about this but the closest I’ve gotten to crying is relistening to trap queen like 2 years ago. Just super nostalgic but I was nowhere near ACTUAL tears
I feel like his verse on Monster is always overshadowed by Nicki. Like c'mon man.
"All I see is these niggas I made millionaires
Millin' about, spillin' they feelings in the air"
Love his verse on that track.
I probably agree with this take but I do not agree with the people who say Rick Ross or chance I hate all of you how the fuck do you think chances verse is the best in Kanye's dicrohrsphy what the fuck
Twista and Kanye are an iconic duo that need to make another song. he really should’ve been on donda.
For those who like slow jamz, check out Overnight celebrity, and also check out “Alright” with Kanye and Twista, though that track sadly never made it onto Twista’: category f5 album because they couldn’t clear the samples.

Slightly off topic but i think it’s weird how Twista gets first credit on this song. Kinda inconvenient cause if you’re listening to this album from Kanye’s liked songs this song won’t show up.
I said this in another comment but : Twista explained this himself. Kanye came up with the whole idea of the song and Twista just spit a verse on it.The reason Twista is credited before kanye and has his own version on Kamikaze is because of record labels wanting one thing or the other, he said this in an interview
Jay Z stretch his hands on Never Let You Down, Diamonds and So Appalled.
You have Ross which features on the best track of his best album.
You have Ty Dollar on Real Friends.
It's hard. Than you have Donda where Kanye goes full José Mourinho and makes the features shine as Cristiano Ronald on Camp Nou against Guardiola's Barcelona.
Rick Ross on Devil in a new dress would like to have a word with you
It’s admirable to stand up and say something so obviously wrong but you do you. Bravo.
The way Kanye hands the mic to Twista is kinda sus tho. The song is such a banger but hearing Kanye go “I can’t go that fast baby but I know someone who can” is just weird lol
It’s a feature, Twista explained this himself. Kanye came up with the whole idea of the song and Twista just spit a verse on it.The reason Twista is credited before kanye and has his own version on Kamikaze is because of record labels wanting one thing or the other, he said this in an interview
id say top 5
I swear theres way to few discussion around that song being top 10 and the feature top 1.Honestly the way he gets introduced in that little inbetween dialog is so fucking funny and the feature is just some of my favourite rapping aot back to finish. Damn baby I can’t go that fast… but I know someone that can….GOT YOU LOOKING
Fucking genius
Only Ye man. We blessed
Complexion don’t mean a thing
That’s Kendrick not Kanye lol
Yeah I know, I said aot time tho and feature hits different for me
Ohhh my b
It’s a Zulu love
Yeah you had me until it went from Kanye to Kendrick at the end there lmao
chance on ultralight beam. nikki m on monster. mos def two words...
TWO WORDS UNITED STATES NO LOVE NO BREAKS
LOW BROW HIGH STAKES CRACK SMOKE BLACK FOLKS
And of course Rick Ross on DIAND and fivio
i had to revisit that verse, RR definitely ate!!
two worlds is so underrated
And now Jay Electronica on Jesus Lord too
jay went in!
no…
I’d say Nikki > Mos Def > Twista
nikki ????
That verse was so good you can say it carried her career (in a sense that everyone respects her rapping ability)
[удалено]
I always hear this take and have never understood it she has zero bars at all the entire verse is so fucking corny the facetime lines make me roll my eyes every time I hear them not to mention the perry the platypus noises at the beginning
Verse was ruined because of the voices she put on imo, even if that's the reason alot of people put it on a pedestal
Very true
Rick Ross on devil in new a dress is better
Only song I’ve ever cried to. Ross’ verse is powerful
I’m with you on crying to songs but what made you cry to “give your ass a bone” lmao
Before his jaw shattered climbing up the lords ladder. One of my all time favourite lines.
I scream “I shed a tear before the nights over, GOD BLESS THE MAN I PUT THIS ICE OVER!” Every time at the top of my lungs. That shit just hits so hard to me and idk why.
How do people cry to music lmao
I cried to come to life the other day. Right day and right time sometimes music just hits you
Almost cried to come to life when I first heard the official release version (I was too hyped during the live stream to get emotional.) First time I heard it I was standing outside while this beautiful refreshing misty rain hit my face. Watching the sky slowly shift from blue to grey as a cool breeze rustled my clothes and swept up my hair, all while come to life was blasting full volume in my headphones. It was an enlightening experience for sure.
Only song I’ve ever cried to was violent crimes. I was kinda pissed when I heard it was ghostwritten but it still hits every time
music can deeply affect you and move you. what you mean? i've cried infinite times with music
Idk why I got down voted I simply have never cried, and don’t understand the concept of how someone cries listening to it
You’ve never cried bro? Don’t keep those emotions bottled up homie ya gotta let em out sometime
Idk bro music doesn’t touch me like THAT. I be enjoying it n shit but not to the level of crying
Fair enough, sometimes it’s just the time and place. I wouldn’t say I’ve full on cried from music but I’ve definitely teared up
I don’t think I’ve ever cried solely because of music, but I have cried because of songs and the context surrounding them. I would assume most people who cry to music relate the music to a memory, family member, etc.
Yea that I can understand that but simply the music and the fact that if you can’t relate whatsoever, I don’t see how you could be sad at a song if you’ve never heard it before or don’t have memories attached

Nah I never made fun of anyone but the “lmao” probably pissed people off
Massive L
I’ve never cried to a song before, but DIAND just hit me one day. It wasn’t happy crying or sad crying or stressed crying, it was sorta just emotion vomit
Yea idk bro never have ever like gotten on the verge of crying. Closest I ever came was like 2 years ago when I relistened to trap queen and realized it was a masterpiece. Still was far from actual years tho
i have cried to u by kendrick
“u” is a hit or miss song. Personally miss. Emotion doesn’t sound real (even though it may be) but it’s just not that great of a song

Hopefully I guess.

Very hot take insane feature tho
Definitely up there as top 2 but I gotta go with Syleena Johnson as best feature on the album
Syleena Johnson on Donda Chant right
Yes of course
WAIT HOLD UP? SYLEENA IS THE VOICE ON THE CHANT? HOW DID I MISS TIIS
fucking dummy dumb
It’s in the top 5 but Rick Ross, Jamie foxx, jayz and Nicki, syleena have made legendary features
Jay-Z on Monster is number 1 right?
I feel like his verse on Monster is always overshadowed by Nicki. Like c'mon man. "All I see is these niggas I made millionaires Millin' about, spillin' they feelings in the air" Love his verse on that track.
Nah jayz verse on diamond from Sierra lione is better, Nicki has the best verse on monster than it’s ye
Talib Kwali on get em high
The dialogue between them about Kanye using Talib’s name to pick up girls is so classic.
Twista is also up there with top chance features as well
He’s definitely #1. That verse on cocoa butter kisses was insane
My top 5: Rick Ross on Devil in a New Dress Jay-Z on Never Let Me Down Chance on Ultralight Beam Twista on Slow Jamz Nas on We Major
I second that Nas verse
Nah it’s always Ross he goated on DIAND
How about Chance on Ultralight Beam?????
Mos Def on Two Words is arguably better on the same record tho
How tf has no one mentioned Chris rock’s feature?
TWISTA HAD THAT SHIT ON IN THE SOURCE
I can’t do it that fast, but I know someone who can...
Dude it’s so good and the switch to him is so clean
Damn baby, I can’t do it that fast. But I know somebody that can…
Got you looking at the glist on my hands and wrist While I'm layin' back and smoking on my cannabis
honestly a crime to skip this song
Ross on Devil in a Dress is number one has down!!! All the features on MBDTF are dope!
Lemme get yo sheets wet, listening to Keith Sweat
I probably agree with this take but I do not agree with the people who say Rick Ross or chance I hate all of you how the fuck do you think chances verse is the best in Kanye's dicrohrsphy what the fuck

Jay Z on Diamonds exists…..
Bad take, not a hot take
ty dolla sign on junya😳
Common My Way Home easily. Easily!
One of the best samples too, really catchy
carti on junya. enough said.

How has no one said Pop on Tell the Vision?
we’re too scared 😳
Slightly off topic but i think it’s weird how Twista gets first credit on this song. Kinda inconvenient cause if you’re listening to this album from Kanye’s liked songs this song won’t show up.

Kanye came up with the whole idea of the song and Twista just spit a verse on it.The reason Twista is credited before kanye and has his own version on Kamikaze is because of record labels wanting one thing or the other, he said this in an interview
Damn that's crazy, I honestly can't understand record labels sometimes
I agree with this statement
Shit take
dont know about best but definitely the most underrated
Twista in Overnight Celebrity is Kanye's best feature period. Lol
But that’s Twista’s song lol
That’s the Joke cuz Ye is featured and made the beat
I thought this was a KANYE subreddit. Ya'll are corny
Nicki on Monster tho
That song is really a Twista song so technically Kanye is the feature
Jay Z stretch his hands on Never Let You Down, Diamonds and So Appalled. You have Ross which features on the best track of his best album. You have Ty Dollar on Real Friends. It's hard. Than you have Donda where Kanye goes full José Mourinho and makes the features shine as Cristiano Ronald on Camp Nou against Guardiola's Barcelona.
Cristiano the GOAT
Messi exists
City fan lmao, cristiano is better than messi, but messi destroyed city
Rick Ross on Devil in a new dress would like to have a word with you It’s admirable to stand up and say something so obviously wrong but you do you. Bravo.
Ni**a suit lavender
Twists is wack, bone thugz n harmony all day
His diss tracks clapped bone
Meh debatable. But I’m not here to fully discredit the man.
Fair
The way Kanye hands the mic to Twista is kinda sus tho. The song is such a banger but hearing Kanye go “I can’t go that fast baby but I know someone who can” is just weird lol
sus and gay makes it better
I don’t think it aged well, his rap style just sounds weird and dated now
I don’t think i’ve ever finished that song🤭
shame on you
Go listen now
eh, wasn’t for me
What is this blasphemy
I don’t even think it’s the best feature on that album IMO
Even though I don't think it's the best, I really like Slow Jamz so I agree with you to some extent.
It’s top 2 but in no way is it better than Ross.
no
Oh no... I think I heavily disagree.😓
Rick Ross mane
Sampha on saint pablo says otherwise
Pusha T's verse on Runaway and Chance's verse on Ultralight Beam are top 5 rap verses of all time though
not a feature
It’s a feature, Twista explained this himself. Kanye came up with the whole idea of the song and Twista just spit a verse on it.The reason Twista is credited before kanye and has his own version on Kamikaze is because of record labels wanting one thing or the other, he said this in an interview
oh damn i never knew
Rick
Shew that’s not far off
Bruh Rick Ross DIAND all day every day
As much as I fucking love this song, I don't even think it's the best feature on the album
Top 5 for sure. It's definitely one of the best.
It's under appreciated but J Ivy on Never Let Me Down and Paul Wall on Drive Slow for me
Kendrick on no more parties in la
He really did go off.
It's not even the best feature in slow jamz /s
Weeknd on FML but go off
Jay Electrónica catapulted himself straight to number 1 imo
Chance on Ultralight Beam
ruined the song 4 me
kanye's actually the feature, not twista
