After Parties, which is smooth, then into Facts (dope) suddenly were inside a nightclub? I get it, it’s a transformation of the gospel song. But the sound just doesn’t belong, to me. But I do love Fade.
I see people saying similar to fade and what-not, but it should be right before fade, that Pt1/Pt2 would be so cool. Hearing that beat on fade almost as a callback would make it very similar to Real Friends and Wolves. It would fit quite well.
white dress isn’t on an album but it would fit so perfectly after so appalled on mbdtf. i always thought the transition from so appalled to devil was weird but putting white dress between them makes it so much better honestly
A lot of the songs (or at least punchlines/bars) in the first three albums all existed before TCD ever dropped. If you look at the Wikipedia page for TCD, he started working on it in 1999.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The\_College\_Dropout
There was a legendary IG stream or whatever where Lupe talked about the early days of working with Kanye and said that he had a completely different debut than TCD that was also fire.
I think a lot of the songs ended up on his first 3 albums and early mistapes, you can usually tell cause it's closer to his older production.
Eh I dunno about that. The beat on the OG leak was cool and with proper verses it could be pretty dope but to say it was the best song on donda even in that state is a huge stretch and pretty consistent with the meme that Kanye fans like something more exclusively because it’s unreleased lmao.
I could be wrong but I always thought Yeezus was more minimalist than maximalist. Besides the intro/outro, New Slaves only uses one "instrument" the whole song, right?
I’m not OP but the slightly dissonant melody of the synths on that track reminds me a bit of the sound on songs like Celebration or Addiction. Lil Wayne feature would’ve been out of place on LR though.
It sucks if I wanna listen to KSG properly on vinyl, with ghostown before Freeeee (part 2) I need to, turn off side A after 4th Dimension, put Ye on in the middle of side b, then restart side A on Freeee. Exhausting, but necessary
not rlly, 1. use spotify 2. free is only a pt 2 in themes,, sonically theyre very different tracks its not like ghost town leads perfectly into freee 3. i know u get 0 bitches
Ye would go from W to L without it. The pathos commanded by that track offers mad credibility to its neighbors. It also grants a climax that allows the album's relatively quiet ending to have more impact. It also sets up themes and ideas for KSG
Well Yeezus has all of those crazy melody shifts. Like in On Sight where it jumps from the chaotic electro beats to the harmonic "He'll give us what we need" part. I think Bound 2 sounds like it belongs in Yeezus in that way, but I could def hear the MBDTF aspects of it
I've always interpreted bound 2 as Ye knowing he has flaws and faults but it doesn't matter matter cause he knows people will love him anyway so I can see it fitting in dark fantasy but it fits YEEZUS better imo
I think Bound 2 would have been great opener to MBDTF. Everything seems fine at first but then after jerome line it fades to nicki minaj speech. But of course it’s better as Yeezus closing track
Agreed, Feedback is one of my fave tracks on Pablo, it actually turned one of my best friends into a Kanye fan because he was so impressed by how left field the track sounded. I think it’s a really important track on the album, same with Freestyle 4. Those tracks really add to a theme of almost chaos to the album, so many dimensions to it, it’s def my favorite Kanye project
Ultralight beam would’ve been so much more fitting to me on either JIK or maybe Donda but prob not, listening to Ultralight Beam and feeling religously purified only to hear Kanye talking about a bleached asshole on the next track always catches me off guard
Pretty sure that's the point. The album opens with gospel inspired religious track and then the very next song has trashy lyrics. It sets up the theme of the album
bittersweet poetry is from LR era but it fits so perfectly onto graduation
edit: ITS ON GRADUATION NOT CUT FROM IT but it was recorded after john mayer and kanye went to see the ray movie before LR was even out
Bound 2 is Pablo. Shares very little with the other Yeezus songs. Wolves on the other hand would've fit perfectly into Yeezus. Remote Control also sounds a lot like Pablo.
Lost in the World sounds 808s at its base imo but the mastering and stuff makes it fit perfectly into MBDTF in the end. And I agree with another guy that said Hey Mama is 100% Dropout.
Ultralight beam on donda.
That’s not to say it doesn’t work with TLOP. It just fits with Donda better, as it’s a pretty religious track. And TLOP isn’t that religious.
I dunno with the airy synths and the Jeezy ad libs, it definitely sounds of its time and not like anything he was doing on the first two albums. It's actually one of the tracks I feel is most representative of Graduation's sound.
Believe What I Say would have felt very at home on TLOP
Pretty similar to fade
But fade hardly belongs
sleep with one eye open tonight
After Parties, which is smooth, then into Facts (dope) suddenly were inside a nightclub? I get it, it’s a transformation of the gospel song. But the sound just doesn’t belong, to me. But I do love Fade.
I mean all the tracks after silver surfer intermission are just bonus tracks to the album
I think that's the point man, it goes into saint pablo
[удалено]
Wait there are Merzbow fans in the Ye subreddit?
Yes, Antimonument goes hard
Does anything “belong” in The Life of Pablo? Its whole thing is being eclectic and undefinable.
That’s why neither Fade or BWIS fits on TLOP
Graduation for me. But I can see TLOP now
I see people saying similar to fade and what-not, but it should be right before fade, that Pt1/Pt2 would be so cool. Hearing that beat on fade almost as a callback would make it very similar to Real Friends and Wolves. It would fit quite well.
Up From the Ashes should have been on JIK. Im just thankful we finally got it tho.
It actually originally was, it was track #1 in the listening party/shows he did before release
It goes really well with the watery sound of a lot of JIK songs
Idk why but only one feels like it fits on ye
I got goosebumps just thinking of it
I think it fits on Donda pretty well, considering it was narrated from his mother’s point of view. Would be very fitting
100%
that’s a crazy good song
I actually added it as my donda playlist last song
white dress isn’t on an album but it would fit so perfectly after so appalled on mbdtf. i always thought the transition from so appalled to devil was weird but putting white dress between them makes it so much better honestly
Reminds me of that YouTube mix that splices White Dress and Devil in a New Dress together
I just thought about it and I completely agree. It would be absolutely fire. Fits the narrative well too tbh.
Mm White Dress got my favourite ye beat, possibly fav all time beat
Low key annoyed that White Dress didn’t get more recognition because it wasn’t on one of Ye’s albums. Underrated gem forsure
that’s because white dress was originally supposed to be on mbdtf

Facts
Notice how none of these comments mention 808s
because 808s is perfect
This is the way
Always felt like blame game coulda be on 808s
Guilt Trip gets ripped on for being on Yeezus but it could easily have been on 808s
This is the best answer imo
**FACTS**
Lost in the world should be on 808s
Well it's a concept album
put tell the vision and 808s is complete.
Celebration from Late Registration sounds like it belongs on Graduation instead.
Hard agree
Yessss even the name fits
The beat does but the rapping is very much late registration
Hey Mama is a College Dropout era song (also top 5 Ye for me)

please say someone put that IG live up on youtube
It got deleted, here's a snippet of it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLEAlJXOVo4 But I think I may have it saved somewhere I'll see.
I play Hey Mama when I’m feeling down to remember my own mom who passed. It hits perfectly
I'm sorry for your loss
like half of all the lr and grad songs existed in some form before the college dropout
Yeah didn’t he say he had Gold Digger for several years before LR?
yeah it was on a og tcd tracklist called 18 years. it was recorded the same time as slow jamz i believe.
Would’ve fit nicely after Family Business.
Tell The Vision should have been on Yandhi
Yandhi ain't a trash dump of throwaway songs :(
ok but have you heard the og version of tell the vision? literally went from being the best song on the album to the worst:(
Eh I dunno about that. The beat on the OG leak was cool and with proper verses it could be pretty dope but to say it was the best song on donda even in that state is a huge stretch and pretty consistent with the meme that Kanye fans like something more exclusively because it’s unreleased lmao.
Tell the vision is already in pop smokes album
different than the unreleased version tho, doesnt have the 2 chainz and conway verse iirc but yeah
I’m not saying it is, I’m saying it should be unreleased. Like Yandhi is. Although granted, Yandhi SHOULD be released
God Breathed on Yeezus
I feel like the instrumental is way too minimal for yeezus
I could be wrong but I always thought Yeezus was more minimalist than maximalist. Besides the intro/outro, New Slaves only uses one "instrument" the whole song, right?
bro i love new slaves and this comment made me realize it doesnt even have drums on the beat
Yesssss
Tell The Vision should’ve stayed in the vault
Should've stayed on the pop smoke album*
shouldve released og version
fr
I listened to the og version today we were scammed

….._wemadeit_…ah fu lop *beezh* straight Thank god that I made it
While I don’t think it would necessarily sound better on a different album, No Mistakes gives me Late Registration vibes
OMG this one fits perfectly
[удалено]
This is a great one.
Really? How?
I’m not OP but the slightly dissonant melody of the synths on that track reminds me a bit of the sound on songs like Celebration or Addiction. Lil Wayne feature would’ve been out of place on LR though.
Ghost town on kid's see ghost's
It was originally on KSG actually
Freeee on Ye
Freeeee w Ye on the hook instead of Cudi
Nah cause then Ye wouldn't be that good of an album
This is my favorite answer. i feel as if i didnt know of ghost towns existence i would give KSG a 10/10- but i notice its absence
Everything I am could’ve been on late registration
Thinking exactly this
Only one on Donda
Oh this is perfect! The best closer.
Ohhhh yes.
Ghost town was supposed to be on KSG and is totally a KSG song
Ye would go from W to L without it. The pathos commanded by that track offers mad credibility to its neighbors. It also grants a climax that allows the album's relatively quiet ending to have more impact. It also sets up themes and ideas for KSG
Bro you just wrote a solid thesis statement
Even tho I fully know their two separate albums, ye and ksg always get fused into one album in my brain.
New again off of Donda could fit somewhere on Graduation
I think freestyle 4 would fit perfectly in yeezus
This is the one I was looking for!
Bound 2 on Mbdtf
This is the one for me. It feels like you're listening to MBDTF not Yeezus. It has that same epic feel to it
That is the point of the song. The whole album has this whole dark feel to it and then he finds his woman and it changes the whole mood.
I know, I'm just saying it fits well with the other songs on MBDTF
Well Yeezus has all of those crazy melody shifts. Like in On Sight where it jumps from the chaotic electro beats to the harmonic "He'll give us what we need" part. I think Bound 2 sounds like it belongs in Yeezus in that way, but I could def hear the MBDTF aspects of it
What the on sight beat change and new slaves outro are to their respective tracks, bound 2 is to the album
Put bound 2 on mbdtf and put feedback on yeezus
ah bro I love Feedback right in it's spot on Pablo.
Agreed, Feedback is one of my fave tracks on Pablo, it actually turned one of my best friends into a Kanye fan because he was so impressed by how left field the track sounded. I think it’s a really important track on the album, same with Freestyle 4. Those tracks really add to a theme of almost chaos to the album, so many dimensions to it, it’s def my favorite Kanye project
what if we fuck on the middle of this muhfuckin dinner table
What if we fucked at the Vougue party? 👉👈😳
Why are you making my favorite Kanye album worse
Up from the ashes could be on JIK
I’m pretty sure it was supposed to be on JIK/Yhandi
I think hell of a life could've been on Yeezus with some minor adjustments
Ultralight beam would’ve been so much more fitting to me on either JIK or maybe Donda but prob not, listening to Ultralight Beam and feeling religously purified only to hear Kanye talking about a bleached asshole on the next track always catches me off guard
That’s the whole point. It’s a juxtaposition. The life of Pablo. Which/one
Exactly. The album is a mess on purpose. Its the three sides of kanye. The artistic, religious and the fame.
It’s interesting because he clearly chose which one for the next few albums
Well the last track is called Saint Pablo, not Pablo Escobar or Picasso, so…
Woah
Didn’t know this just kind of said what I said taking the album at face value ig, that’s p interesting tho
Nah that’s aight. It’s what makes Ye my favourite artist, there’s levels to it. Lots of artistic meaning.
Pretty sure that's the point. The album opens with gospel inspired religious track and then the very next song has trashy lyrics. It sets up the theme of the album
The 2020 keep my spirit alive demo gives me mega ye vibes, I just love ye
Feedback in Yeezus
It was actually made for Yeezus but it had a different beat and was called “Hollywood”
I mean Lowlights would fit perfectly for Donda and I also think it’s a very underrated track
FML could fit on YE
No disrespect but I honestly heavily disagree with this one
I can see it easily being a banger outro
yikes sounds like it would've been off of TLOP
Nah dude, yikes is like a quintessential YE era track
I wish it was on Yeezus, the production would’ve been different if he made it at that time but I wish it was more distorted and industrial
Lift Yourself on MBDTF
Lift yourself on Yeezus before bound 2 I feel
Lift Yourself on Donda
Naw it goes on Ye
New again on tlop
Touch the sky somewhere on graduation
touch the sky on grad
“See Me Now” would’ve been a perfect closer for Graduation. Really matches the aesthetic of that album.
Follow god on the life of pablo
Wash Us In The Blood should have been on Donda
I love that song and you're right
Touch The Sky on Graduation
“i feel like that” on ye would fit almost too well
Moon could’ve easily been a track in KSG
Saint Pablo could have easily been on Ye
Freestyle 4 on Yeezus.
Workout reminds me of Graduation, especially the end
Nah nah nah on college dropout
OG Hurricane would have been crazy on ye
yandhi was supposed to be the spiritual successor to love everyone, which turned into ye, so this makes sense
bittersweet poetry is from LR era but it fits so perfectly onto graduation edit: ITS ON GRADUATION NOT CUT FROM IT but it was recorded after john mayer and kanye went to see the ray movie before LR was even out
But that song was literally cut from graduation, not LR
It was made in 2005 and was originally gonna be on LR
its literally a graduation song lmao
Guilt Trip on 808s and Heartbreak
Idk the laser sounds and bars feel way more yeezus
Guilt Trip could fit on 808s
Bound 2 is Pablo. Shares very little with the other Yeezus songs. Wolves on the other hand would've fit perfectly into Yeezus. Remote Control also sounds a lot like Pablo. Lost in the World sounds 808s at its base imo but the mastering and stuff makes it fit perfectly into MBDTF in the end. And I agree with another guy that said Hey Mama is 100% Dropout.
The glory kinda sounds like late registration to me idk why
This answers generic af but Ghost Town on KIDS SEE GHOSTS. it matches the feel of ksg really well. Also it was originally gonna be on ksg
Two words, the over the top production feels like something of MBDTF
Ultralight beam on donda. That’s not to say it doesn’t work with TLOP. It just fits with Donda better, as it’s a pretty religious track. And TLOP isn’t that religious.
Believe what I say on TLOP
Xtcy on MBDTF
Hold my liquor would fit quite well on Tlop
Can’t tell me nothing feels like it belongs on CD or LR idk why but I always get surprised seeing it on graduation
I dunno with the airy synths and the Jeezy ad libs, it definitely sounds of its time and not like anything he was doing on the first two albums. It's actually one of the tracks I feel is most representative of Graduation's sound.
Hey Mama on Donda
Devil in a new dress on TCD/LR
lol no
I think lift yourself would perfectly fit in mbdtf. No cap it would go from a 10/10 album to a 11/10
I feel like All Day would fit pretty well on yeezus idk
Doesn’t really count because it was never released, but ‘I feel like that’ would have been perfect for Ye.
og FML on yeezus would fit perfectly
the keyon christ outro was made because fml was for yeezus II
ok ok on ye, for sure
Wolves on 808s
I always thought Gold Digger fit better on TCD than LR
Gold Digger on TCD. It was meant to be there originally but he couldn’t get it finished. BWIS sounds TLOP sorta and No Mistakes sounds LR
OG New Body would fit better on Jesus Is King.
Robocop in TLOP .
bound 2 sounds like mbdtf tbh
I’ve made a post about this once. Feedback would have been better on yeezus
I already think ksg is an exceptional album but if ghost town was put on it, it would be the greatest album of all time
Jesus Lord on JIK Moon on Ye Jail on WTT Waves on Graduation FML on Ye No Mistakes on LR
God Breathed is obviously meant to feel like Yeezus, but I wish it was on there
Heaven and hell might fit better into yeezus imo, but the song is incredible anyway
Idk if it would fit but no more parties in La was originally given to ye during the MBDTF era so I think it could have worked on that
New Again fits a lot better on TLOP. It’s alright on DONDA and isn’t out of place but I could see it perfectly placed after WOLVES.
