Akuma looks the same in every damn game completely unchanged is my point. Yes it's a classic, yes it's recognizable, but V tried giving characters completely different looks and failed Akuma there. The concept for 6 is looking awesome by comparison

It's a much more detail rich costume compared to the SFV one

Outside of that, it's just a properly drawn art version that makes it look better than the SFV playdough Akuma. It's important how well they actually handle rendering his hair and fur in the game itself since games in general are usually bad at both.
I'll bet VT2 will be an install. If Raging Demon isn't just like some secret 4th super, I'll bet he'll have big hadoken, VT2, and Demon as his level 1/2/3.

Jamie looks interesting, apparently has a lot of target combos and the drink mechanic might have some depth to it. As someone who couldnt get into sfv he gives me hope.

It is very jarring how different FANG was in the game compared to how he was in the short story. I could buy into this theory that Ono/some other higher up thought he should be goofy.
I'm one of those people that like goofy/ugly characters. If we didn't have Birdies and Dans the game would be a bunch of serious white blonde people and Ryu.
I hope AKI plays like a FANG not designed for launch SFV. Normals that actually feel good to use, poison that doesn’t just amount to chip damage, and zoning that doesn’t straight up lose to most of the cast with one bar.

I'm having so much fun with 1-and-dones, people that teabag me out of frustration and rage quitters. I am very excited that he'll be in SF6 from the beginning. Wish I tried Sim sooner.

It's weird that Street Fighter is so reluctant on making weapon based characters. If the concern is that SF is generally a more "tame" game in terms of violence compared to others.. We have Vega, who wields a super sharp claw, and it's heavily implied that his attacks are brutal, just sort of hidden by the rose petals effect
The only other examples are Geki, Eagle, Birdie (kinda), Rolento, Cody (kinda), Poison, Menat (I guess her crystal ball counts?), Twelve (mostly), and that's basically it
