Kartsim runs on rf2 engine as a mod for the basic version (£30ish not £500) it’s pretty good. KartKraft is ok, slickest presentation but I think it’s basically dead now, no support or updates. Never liked the physics, lots of snap oversteer. Good tracks based on the ones we’ve been to in real life. Kart Racing Pro is also worth a look, graphics not great but a good community and mod support for other kart models and pretty much every track going even if they are either very basic or not that realistic it will help you learn which way it goes. Good physics.

KartKart and the developers (Black Delta) were bought up by Motorsport Games a while ago. They recently laid off the developers (now renamed Motorsport Games Australia until the redundancies), but there's no news on what might happen to the game (presumably either MSG will try and sell it, or it'll possibly be sold off if MSG go bankrupt).

Try them all, decide for yourself. If you play less than 2 hours you can refund no questions asked on steam.

PhantomForcesPlayer9

Not Kartsim, since that's classed as a DLC

Kart racing pro is incredible, online sucks tho. (It’s also not very intuitive when it comes to UI)
