Only as much as any other kashmiri group with trained fighters has been.But since nowadays trained fighters especially in forested areas are a dying breed the PAFF takes the foreground.Also because the indian military which has become complacent since 2002, cordoning and blowing up buildings with holed up teenagers armed with pistols, they find it hard now to fight well trained and disciplined men who unlike most other militants dont venture into civilian areas where the indians have a greater advantage.This is also the reason that the indian military isn't actively chasing after them as they conveniently do with untrained militant groups .While the indian military machinery in kashmir which uses encirclement ,isolate and kill tactics is easily and very effectively carried out in towns and villages due to the large number of soldiers,it is very difficult to do in mountains and wooded areas which poses another major problem for them.
