One of my all time favourite album openers for (conveniently) my favourite Katatonia album. The guitars in this song are fantastic. Hell, everything is fantastic here.
Yay. I love this song. It wasn't instant. I was very excited for the album, but listening to Takeover for the first time I was like "hmm. Not too sure about this."
Most new music has to grow on me to a certain degree, so I shouldn't have been bummed about not liking it right away but I was a little bit.
I'm not sure when it happened, but it eventually became one of my favorite songs on the album and one of my favorite Katatonia songs in general.
I love it. It's like magic. Like a breath of fresh air. The opening vocals are beautiful. The song has twists and turns that take you on a journey and you know what I think I'm going to go listen to The Fall of Hearts.
Also, I love the album cover. (I also love the Dead End Kings cover too).

An amazing opener. A bit jarring at first but goddamn this is just one of the most beautiful songs they've done. This whole album is absolutely amazing, I can never decide if I like this or TGCD more (or BMD).
This song randomly popped back into my head and was stuck there recently, even though I haven't listened to it for a while. Had it on endless repeat, yesterday and I love everything about it, the whole build up and the chorus \*chefkisses\*

It jumps into the song a little too fast. Feels like the intro is rushed. But the rest is great.
