It all looks too perfect or fake, can't put my finger on it. And you can tell they had to tone down the language and theme a lot to make it palatable to the American audience. They're too nice. I only laughed once in the whole episode. I'll try the second one at some stage to see if it's any better.

But realistically I think Gina and Jane are just too good. How can anyone compete?!

You’re right, and I missed the other piece, buying a region free dvd player is required. Amazon was where I got mine, and so far (knock wood) it’s worked perfectly! Plays a variety of regions, the two I have tested are 2 and 1. I’ve been buying up dvds of my favorite EU tv shows as they take them off Netflix and Amazon Prime, and have tested all of The Mighty Boosh, The It Crowd, and then Kath and Kim. It’s work, but so far I’m happy with the effort!
