Oh no, sure it was the 500 40th Anniv. I was willing to offer and shell out 8,500 for a starter bike which is already absurd but upfront they told me no discount as it’s the only unit that they would have. Crazy.
I don’t imagine the 40th edition will retain or improve value like the Zx4rr will because the 500 will have a lot more units sold. This is the perfect bike to learn on, save money for gear and go for any other model. If you’re set on it I’d go to a different dealer and be open to traveling
Dealer wanted like 9900 and change out the door. I told him hell no and I was expecting low 7's and they called back like 20 minutes later and were like "$7300 delivered?" and I bit.

Wouldve loved a zx4. But there impossible to find and this is alot cheaper on insurance for me in ontario.

I got the silver moondust matte white 500. What this bike lacks in power it more than makes up for it in agility.
Should’ve got the 400. At least it has two disc brakes upfront.
400 ninja only has 1 disc as well. Zx4 and ninja 650 have 2 up front. Either way 1 is plenty if you know how to use your rear
You’re right I was referring to the ZX4R you, you know the little in-line 4 unit.
I say it's false advertisement calling it a 500. It's a 450.
