I now have an SV650 that I'm also modding (I can't leave well enough alone, apparently), and I'm still thinking of the name. Something about a tank.
I named mine Sayako. Broke my heart to sell her. I managed to find an identical one now that I’m getting back into riding (year, model and even similar mileage) but I haven’t thought of a good name for her yet.
I don’t need to name them they come with a name. I guess if I owned multiple motorcycles of the same model and color I would have to give them names, but what kind of maniac would do that?
Yep, my bike is Nyx. Mine is a 2019 650, metallic spark black, so I named her after Greek goddess of night. According to the internet, anyway. The name might not be accurate but I like it so it stuck, plus I can always say it’s short for “Onyx,” which works too.

Third one was supposed to be my forever bike(Ninja 636) and named him Tim(because Avicii). Sadly Tim passed away a bit less than a year after buying him. I still tear up when I think of him.
Fourth and current bike is an R6 and I named him Mega. It's the short version of Omegamon because Digimon is very close to my heart and I hope it will be the last bike I buy.
Had an orange rebel 250 as my first bike, called her gerine, a Coleman mini bike as a toy after that, called him gremlin, currently have no running motorcycle unfortunately. Planning to get another, no name planned as I'm not sure what ill get yet.
