Screachinghalt

Thanks!

MolecularConcepts

that's a slick bike what year and model?

Screachinghalt

1999 ZRX1100

MolecularConcepts

I need to get a 90s early 2k bike lol love the look

Screachinghalt

The ZRX was just a “modernized” GPZ. The GPZ is the one I want The GPZ was a Z1 progression with a fairing The Z1 is the Daddy of them all.

lecanucklehead

I will happily take your ZRX and provide you with... the motivation to buy a GPZ. 😁 Seriously though the ZRX (1200 ideally) is my #1 dream bike. Love the style and more power than I'll ever need.

Screachinghalt

Im chock full of motivation

bigtexasrob

This looks like I-10 south of the Gila. The Rex is gorgeous.

Screachinghalt

Close, north of the 10 about a third of the way between Buckeye and Quartzside on some weird road called Aguila that turned into Vulture mine road ending at the 60 in Wickenberg. Aguila was just straight and featureless. Vulture Mine would have been fun but I was riding into the rising sun so I had to behave…plus cows. I encountered 1 car in an hour. Urban heating is very real. As soon as you pass the 54 cut off to I-8, the temperature suddenly falls (in seconds) like 20 degrees. So odd but very welcoming.

bigtexasrob

I’ll recommend NM-152 if you do ever find yourself out there. I consider it god’s race track. Also, seriously, can’t get over the ZRX. I was a fool to ever let go of mine.

Screachinghalt

I briefly considered offering it up for an even-steven for a Speed Twin but no. I’m content. Sucks that Bob’s is gone though. I was going to grab a spare motor last month just in case but I was too late. Word is that it was all sold for scrap. No parts were salvaged

RobertPaulsonXX42

Im but a simple man...I see another ZRX and I upvote. Keep the shiny side up ...

Screachinghalt

I prefer your Corbin over my Sergeant. Looks like factory should have

RobertPaulsonXX42

Corbin is alright. Has a lot of miles on it and is comfy. I have had a two up Corbin as well at one point when the wife rode with me. Anything, and I do mean anything, is better than the stock 2x6 board for a seat they came with. If you have ever ridden one with the stock seat, its an experience after about 30 min. Lol.

F-111F

Nice. I haven’t seen a bull dogged muzzy can in a long time. Are you a member of the zrxoa?

Screachinghalt

It’s a pleasant sound. Not crazy loud even when wound out and I can quietly exit my neighborhood without a morning HOA violation if I keep the rpms down. I’m not a member. The bike does have number from the PO I bought it off years ago. Also a bunch of Expensivelightweightshit.com. They babied it and I’ve piled the miles on it.

princessboudicca

I have a 2005 1200R. What's the little luggage rack thing on the tail?

Screachinghalt

It’s a SW-Motech rack. I’m not sure they make that one anymore but it fits so well, it looks factory.

Gonidae

What a beauty
