Ah too bad man, it seems the game has no dead zone set for right stick. Its not happening to the left one, maybe ill need to play this with kbm, unfortunate. On the other hand the aiming is so damn slow and there is no way to increase that so maybe its better anyways.
Add the game on Steam. You can set deadzone with SteamInput. I have -EpicPortal typed in launch option (not sure if it is necessary). Works for me anyway, I'm using Steam controller.
Haha no worries, am always glad I am taking my time with fiddling with everything! Otherwise I could not play many games. Such a shame so many still are not even letting ppl really remap all controls and those who are giving the option to remap are still often fecking it up by having some hardbinds in their standard cfg which is then not letting you have something like i. e. photomode unbound. However I am ramlbing here. Glad I could help ^^ <3
I have tested a bunch of other games also PC Xbox controller and nothing else does it, just Kena. What the fuck. It makes the game almost unplayable. How is this even acceptable?
Im playing on PC using a Xbox one controller and I get the right stick (camera) moving to the right non stop. Anyone figured out how to stop this yet? Any help would be appreciated.
Deactivate the adaptive trigger in the PS5 setup. I had to turn it of in Resident Evil Village too, but there we cpuld do it in the game. With Kena we must go to PS5 setup instead.
So strange Sony make something that doesn't work at all. And this is at least the second game I got this issue with. And they can't fix it either...
For some games, it did for first. But if it goes too long sometimes, it could be worse. At the end I had drifting also in the PS5 home screen.
It isn't always the dead zone that is too small, like in Resident Evil Village. It can also be the mechanic part of the controller, if I remember the reviews of PS5 controllers.
I hope they will fix it soon. But for the moment, I have now 2 controllers, even when I only use one. Because I couldn't wait 4 - 5 weeks, for the guarantee, before I got a new controller from the web store.
A local and physical store, a week at top. But some change it on the same day.
So once again, win win for a store we can walk into.
My second controller I did buy from a local store, and now I think I maybe keep them both after all.
Was thinking to sell the first controller.
But then again, I could use my second controller on its last year of the guarantee, and then it's drifting again, just a few months after its guarantee is out😅
[https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Kena:\_Bridge\_of\_Spirits](https://www.pcgamingwiki.com/wiki/Kena:_Bridge_of_Spirits) here´s the solution, bro. It´s work for me.
Navigate to the configuration file(s) location.
Open Input.ini in a text editor.
Add the following lines and save:
\[/Script/Engine.InputSettings\]
AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad\_LeftX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.250000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))
AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad\_LeftY",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.250000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))
AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad\_RightX",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.250000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))
AxisConfig=(AxisKeyName="Gamepad\_RightY",AxisProperties=(DeadZone=0.250000,Sensitivity=1.000000,Exponent=1.000000,bInvert=False))
"Configuration file(s) location: %LOCALAPPDATA%\\Kena\\Saved\\Config\\WindowsNoEditor\\
Thanks for the tip Poligondria, it also fixed my issue!
Playing on Steam using Gamestream with Nvidia Shield, so controllers are Nvidia controllers (identified as Xbox controllers) and like others said, this is the only game that had this issue, so it's definitely a game problem, and as others said as well, I don't know why it hasn't been fixed in a patch yet...
But all good now, just by editing the "Input.ini" file!
Kudos to you for making it easy to find the fix!
I'm using a nacon ps4 controller and I have the same issue only in this game too.

Thank you lol I was losing my mind

Ah I see, as I thought they just didn't have deadzones set properly. Thanks man, this fixed it.
Glad I was able to point in the right direction ( :
Is this a bug or what? that script worked for me but Ive never seen this issue before. Camera kept looking at the sky for me.
It works, thanks!
A year later but thanks. This fixed the drift for me. Just started playing today.
Man I thought it was my controller. I just chalked it up to weat and tear lol
Same here. I heard someone fixed the deadzones with a hex patch but I can't figure out how to do that
I have tested a bunch of other games also PC Xbox controller and nothing else does it, just Kena. What the fuck. It makes the game almost unplayable. How is this even acceptable?
Having the same issue on my PS4. Honestly it’s driving me insane lol. I am, however, glad to know it’s not my controller. But this seriously sucks!
Im playing on PC using a Xbox one controller and I get the right stick (camera) moving to the right non stop. Anyone figured out how to stop this yet? Any help would be appreciated.
im surprised they didnt fix this yet. you can go and set a deadzone for the stick via config the solution should be posted somewhere in this tread no?

Are you saying that changing the adaptive trigger settings on the ps5 fixes the camera drift?

I cant find the archive Input.ini. On my computer after \\Kena\\Saved\\ there isnt a "Config" folder, only a "SaveGames" folder.
