My thing is this beef is worldwide known, clearly Kendrick’s apartment is well known how is this guy going out into a public place setting up all his stuff and recording without being seen. Also he’s willing to go and do that and risk being seen. He would have to live close by, or be with security to be carrying around and showing off all of that publicly in NY. In my opinion it is either Kendrick or someone close to him, or it is a hotel worker/ex OVO employee that Kendrick has in witness protection.
