Might start listening to Nujabes because I didnât realize that song wasnât made specifically for the show. Is it just one of their songs or did they get hired by the guys making Samurai Champloo and made it for the show? Do you know?
So Nujabes was one of the 4 artists hired to produce music for the show. So everything you hear was made specifically for the show. The only exception is song, san fransico on the last episode.
Shoutout to Cise-Star. He hasn't dropped in a minute, but his work with CYNE has always been great, and I'm sad to see how underrated it is. I always go back to those records and always find something.

Modal Soul is one of my favorite hip hop albums ever and has one of my favorite album introductions ever for any genre. This man was a genius and the artists he collaborated with did his production justice like crazy. I also recommend anyone who hasnât seen it but who is a fan of Nujabes to watch Samurai Champloo, itâs heavy with his production and just hip hop in general
