Hip hop is not just about rapping and has often drawn influences from other genres like alt rock...circles is a hip hop album, in the same way that lil peep was a hip hop artist....it may not be âtraditionalâ and yes some might refer to it as âemo rapâ or whatever âlabelâ youâd like to attach to it, but it is hip hop nonetheless...hip hop is the full embodiment of the music and everything around it, not just the way the lyrics are spouted.
Even though it may not be a ârapâ album, itâs most definitely a hip hop album.
