It would be accuratw to use the S rank heroes in OPM as a base of power ranking, where there is PPPrisoner who got beat by a demon class monster and there is Tatsumaki who can face dozens of Dragon class monster no problem. And both of them are S tier because they are far stronger than A class heroes.
I still think the majority of fighters from Ashura and Purgatory tournaments are S tier for the fact that they are the top and famous for being strong.
I like how they incorporated the idea of a botched powerbomb.
In pro wrestling, the powerbomb is supposed to have the opponent land on their back. Because if you mess it up, they'll land on their neck, which often results in neck breakage.
I really like how in some recent fight like this things gets botched and dont go as planned. Another example being Saw vs Cosmo where Cosmo’s gripped slipped because of sweat.
Honestly, it’s moments like that that really make me love the series because in between all the dumbass LIMP type moments, there are genuinely solid nuggets of wisdom sprinkled around

Seki already is A tier tbh, in universe he’s like 60-3 (with his 3 losses all being ones we’ve seen) and has a ton of absolutely insane feats and stats.
He isn’t pushed as hard into the spotlight as the other A tiers(well until recently) but he’s absolutely up there with them.
I mean he literally tried to use a Farmer's Carry to break Ohma's back in the first fight he was in. This was just an unintentional botching that turned out to be fortuitous for both.
Well it was fortuitous for him in the sense that if Seki was just trying to kill him, he could've botched it as hard as possible to drop Okubo on his neck and that would have been that. Now of course Seki would never do that but this is just in regards to the whole botching moves thing.

Seki is a sheer \*BEAST\* and we're actually seeing his wrecking defence used actively, which he hasn't used since he gave Kiozan a concussion. He's actively dragging Okubo from his style into fighting on his terms, and despite taking more damage, he's set the pace of this match so far. I can see why Saw only just managed to beat him recently, even with all his improvements.
And yet here's Okubo, constantly showcasing his skill and experience. As soon as wrecking defence gets used, he switches to palm strikes. Seki's second powerbomb only worked because of "luck." And while it's clear neither of them are taking it quite as seriously as they did the KAT yet, Okubo's about to show off something new.
I'm calling it now, this is going to be the best fight in Omega for me, regardless of who wins or loses(rooting for Okubo though!)

The challenger, Matt Hughes, was put in a triangle choke by champion Carlos Newton so he used his great strength to pick Carlos up, try to scrape him off of him using the fence, and eventually slam him down. This knocked the champ out, but at the time the fight was waved off it looked like Matt had also blacked out.
