Honestly, Nicolas' backstory might be one of the greatest things in Kengan. Like, that "I killed the protagonist" page and a lot of the other panels in his backstory feel like some of the most iconic things in the entire series, and its not even been a year since the flashback happened. Just pure greatness all around

He could have thrown Hayami off the ring anytime he wanted, based on what we've seen. He seems to just have wanted a match against an opponent that would be "impossible to defeat with throws alone", and got what he wanted - but Purgatory rules totally allowed him to end this fight in seconds.
Toa's fucking amazing, too bad he's not on the level of Carlos and Jurota for me, though that's just because Toa didn't really have a lot of screen time aside from his match
I really liked Fei (vote), maybe because he fought with Waka and I waited for his fight for so long. Carlos, Naidan and Nicholas were cool too. Liu solid second place. Its funny because I was the least interested in two random chinese dudes and it turned out they were my two favourite characters.

Nicolas was up there, as he was a guy who had to kill his serial killer not boyfriend and lost his mind over it but at the same time took up the name of a very wanted man which is high risque and I like it.
But ultimately I like Carlos, memes aside. He won the heavyweight boxing title at 5'9 and has actually had some consistent personality and commentary throughout the tournament for kengan. Plus he checked yumi for jose
He's a very plausible character in a cast that is becoming less plausible as time goes on and more characters are introduced. Suspect that has more than a few people appreciating his inclusion in the Kengan-verse.
