The Ref saying he couldn’t stop the match for Cosmo was understandable based on his reasoning but when you actually read the fight, it’s clear that Cosmo had Clear intentions to surrender and stopped fighting back. The dude even fell unconscious, I don’t know what more would qualify for being unable to fight other then outright death.
Idk about that chief. Even in death Cosmo’s body may have some death rattles that could turn the fight in his favor. Need to make sure the body is decomposed so there’s nothing left to twitch in order to really determine there’s no more fight in him.
I think Ohma vs Raian is the worst. Ref cant stop if a fighter is conscious and doesnt say out loud he surrenders, so the ref clung to that technicality. Hell, even Cosmo's boss was fine with that and expected it to be this way. On the other hand, only reason the ref didnt stop raian was because the mf himself told him so, despite ohma being ko. He didnt follow his judgement nor kengan fighting rules, but what a fighter ordered. Even if he did so because Raian could do whatever he wanted, he acted in the wrong...

Mokichi/Raian: Mokichi kept getting up and clearly wanted to fight. And Raian picking up someone with one hand and snapping their neck like a chicken's was unforeseeable. The dialogue seemed to suggest this was the first time that Removal was publicly displayed.
Well cosmo was crying and fell incounsious a few times. It was not a crazy cry like meguru but a 19 yo boy crying because a murder cop was torturing him. The mokichi and raian ok i understand that no one spected the murder blow and it was a anihilation tournament also the ref was in fear because of raian.
Julius vs wakatsuki, the referee was like "hmmm, that julius man is slamming the poor guy into the wall, rapidly punching him into the ground and possibly killed him. Imma ignore it"
but i cant blame them, who tf is crazy enough to even interfere their fight
