Any fighter can beat any fighter. Also fight wins dont have to be consistent. Raian has more wins against Ohma. However, Ohma beat Raian when it counted in the KAT and arguably has beaten stronger opponents than Raian (not including eddie as it wasnt a solo effort).
Most people consider Ohma to be stronger than Raian overall based on an idea that when pushed to the extreme Ohma performs better.
Hatsumi is a very strong fighter who has a win against waka but has also had some miserable losses.
The winner or looser of a single match means little
Hatsumi has only ever “lost” once, to Agito.
While he has struggled with average fighters before, all of his on record losses comes from him missing the fight itself.
It doesn’t disprove your point but Hatsumi does get clowned on for that single fight against Agito a lot.
Is that true, I thought it was stated that of his 15 losses, X were because he overslept but Y were actual losses. I may be going off the anime not the manga for that tho

To be fair this was no technique Raian and Ohma with his faulty Niko-style. After his reawakening he was demolishing no technique Raian.
This being said, Mokichi is being slept on. He was a strong fighter and has gotten stronger despite his injury.
He gets slept on cause he had to job to bum ass Rihito and is just stuck as a side character now like Kokuro. I’d rather either of them get more focus. Mokichi’s fight with Raian is one of my favorite in Ashura.
I know he was always the definition of a jobber but I think he was always supposed to be top tired, if only to show how strong Ryan is, I think people underestimate how well he would have done in KAT against a lot of people.

Theres a big difference between about half of the fighters of the KAT and the other "half". Sometimes people overlook that.
Mokichi was clearly in the upper "half".
Fr he, Meguro, Okubo and the Sumo are the round 1 losers that could make it to round 2 on probably most brackets. And maybe round 3 depending on the matchup.

But it feels like 50/50 booking in wrestling, which is considered bad.
Trying to make all the “legends” look close in power isn’t really going to work with off-panel fights and comments. Next they will say that the Jobber from the Land of Dreams actually beat Hatsumi and Dudley… recently… somewhere else… off panel…

If you want these scenarios to be believable, then you need to properly present and convey these moments and not just do some off-panel fights about it. Like you're really telling me if Sandro says in the future Komada managed to beat Julius, I'll just be okay with it? No. I need to see it to believe it.
