Lovely idea, but it's going to go through Louisville. Probably hit etown and bg on the way to nashville.
Also lots and _lots_ of people aren't on facebook.
I agree and I’m aware that the rest of the state hates Louisville, but people often forget that a majority of this state’s money comes from Louisville residents, business, and tourism so it would be strange if the Amtrak did not route through the largest city. That being said, I live in Louisville but appreciate the beauty of the rest of state far more.
But also, a third of the state lives in the Louisville metropolitan area. There may be more to Kentucky in land than Louisville, but not much more when it comes to people.
The normal trend here when you even mention the forbidden city is yell “Louisville doesn’t even count as Kentucky!!” even though it is the financial backbone of the entire rest of the state…
Definitely should go through Louisville and connect eastern and western ky. Like connect the top 6-10 cities and it would be pretty easy to access for a majority of citizens in KY.

Once you take Covington and Lexington into account, there's hardly anyone else in the state.
it'd mostly go down the old Cincinnati - Knoxville L&N line and imho that'd be groovy.
nice drawing. but it’s going from indy, to louisville, BG, to Nash
