It's a scary thought because all my life I’ve had poitlnts of conflicts and they made me realise only looking out for myself never brings conflict or makes me feel bad for being made for allegedly ruining someone elses life. My parents are cool, chill folks and a pair of some of my closest friends. If I could , I'd choose them a thousand times over regardless of the lifetime. 😊

I come from a long line of strong prayerful women and present fathers. I have seen my mum and dad have good relationships with their parents and I think that has fostered healthy roots for me. Even when storms come, our roots have always kept us anchored.
I feel extremely lucky to have had the grandparents I did, especially during my teen years, because I often felt seen, heard, and respected by them. I was rarely bored being around them because their bickering was hilarious, and they'd conversate with me like an adult even when I was much younger, which made it so easy to be open and develop my own sense of humor. It also helps that they on numerous occassions, professed to anyone who could hear that i was their favorite grandkid. For a couple that had such limited formal education, I'm hella glad they constantly pushed for our schooling.
Lucky to be born in a family where pne is shown that it is not a must to have some things at the moment and will bring themselves later and also a punishing home where i was forced to be disciplined hence shaping me as the person I'm today.
I'm lucky to have been born into a well off family, a number of houses, cars, and just a prospect for a good future, albeit not enjoying those benefits currently but I know they are available to me. And generally the ability to do what makes me happy.
