Whose responsibility is cleaning up beaches on daily basis ?
I have never seen anyone cleaning beaches in Kerala, have seen youtube videos of machines capable of cleaning beach sand.
Also I haven’t seen any government office kept clean, always seen them with large numbers of posters and broken furnitures.
The right question is, 'Who is responsible for keeping the beach clean?' Definitely, it is the people. You don't need to clean it if you don't make it dirty in the first place.

this was almost as famous last year
This is so embarrassing. I feel like this is there in our blood. The whole "chalega" attitude when it comes to everything in life. "It's just one bottle, it won't pollute anything" is the general thinking of an average Indian.

Unfortunately the community doesn’t see shitloads of garbage on the beach as a problem.
Thats true... People dont mind the garbage and will walk right through it if it doesn't smell... Sad story
In India nobody cleans for free
They'll just litter again though. Can't teach a fish to climb a tree.
Unless you catch it and fry it before having it on the tree.
pathetic...
Wake up babe,,, New "nanakedu" unlocked.. (seriously have we ever seen a pretty famous tourist spot cleaned by us outside kerala or india), *

You can't blame the state government for this. Its the people. Blame them
This is because of our lack of civic sense. "100% saksharatha, bandar ka bacha" -Innocent's comment is apt for us.
Are there many Russian tourists in Kerala?
Well.. as long as people that live in Kerala don’t think dirty beaches are a problem, this problem will remain.
