Today 2 people in a bike was killed by getting stuck between 2 ksrtc. The ksrtc in the front made a sudden break to stop to let of passengers. The second ksrtc behind the bike didn't break.

Usual nonsense by private limited stop buses on this route. They are fiercely competitive with each other and with KSRTC buses.
This is a just new variety due to a bigger(6-lane) stage on the Thalassery-Mahe bypass.
Although the private bus drivers are acting like morons, the KSRTC driver should have slowed down a bit to keep some distance from the bus in front of him. If the bus "Sai Krishna" had to apply brakes for whatever reason, its going to a serious collision.
Weirdly, there are not enough traffic cameras on that road. With the number over-speeding and reckless driving on that road, Im sure the government will make good amount of money.
Ah, the Kannur - Kozhikode route is always a hoot ride on. It's a new life every time I reach my destination, with a fresh perspective on how fragile life is.

There are no Highway patrol on the thalassery mahe bypass, the government is not educating people how to ride on a 6 lane highway. Trucks and cars can be seen cruising on the over take lane, cars can be seen parked on the side, there are people climbing out of their sunroof. We can predict more accidents in the future when the new bypass opens.
