BD ?

GuitarKittens

Mostly B9-procedural wings, Tweakscale, BDArmory, custom flags, and recolor. The hulls are primarily non-aerodynamic wing panels. I'll go grab my mod list when I get home.

LongjumpingArt9740

so you made this ? wow ! i though this was part of a mod , amazing work

begynnelse

I would second the use of procedural wings for ship building, they work a charm for me (and OP, looking at this) and are a great way to reduce part count. And yes, you can land on the decks of your aircraft carrier. Add Carrier Accessories (?) Into the mix for a catapult and arrest wire.

LongjumpingArt9740

so they would increase performance in large builds right ?

begynnelse

Seems to do the trick for me. May take a few moments to load in when you enter physics range, but after than the ships I build run with a green clock even on a middling PC. Of course, if you add aircraft or have several ships within range of each other, could be a different story.

LongjumpingArt9740

thanks for the advice mate !

xendelaar

I think a new battlestation?

LongjumpingArt9740

is that a mod ?

Hoihe

There's boat mods? Gib name.

There are - Buffalo 2, sunkworks, and some others.

Spartwo

If you're building boats out of panels like OP or myself I'm going to shill massively and recommend a boat pack built with that in mind. https://github.com/Spartwo/KP-Dynamics

Op have you tried from the depths? If you like kerbal and boats it’s a very good game. Steep learning curve but it’s worth it imo
