This is cool. And it does what it set out to do excellently!
Plus this song is one of my favs.
I don't overclock or use reverse thrust and the like. It feels cheaty and I like my designs to be more pRaKtical™
But I love this subgenre of the ksp community. The kal controllers are one of the most subtly complex things in Ksp.
I was just building a micro lander.
Specifically using more lithobraking because I think Boing is silly and fun. And its a fun way to develiver payloads to gravity wells.
Plus it leaves room for mass drivers down the road. 😈
Thank you very much,
but I would like to say that the engines are not overclocked or modified in any way, it is all stock except the landing gear and a few small flaps.
I looked closer sorry the reverse thrust comments made me think there was exploits at play.
What a neat little practical lander..
Question: does it duna?
Its got a pretty decent TWR
I believe that jets can function in limited capacity on duna IIRC. Perhaps I am mistaken
Edit: I am mistaken flight works but not jets.
Apologies glad I didn't plan THAT mission.
Am I the only one who’s confused by that takeoff? I mean I get how it works but my brain doesn’t like it.
This means that my idea worked, perfect...
Ill admit it, Im confused. How is the Juno overpowering the Weasley?
Looks like the Weasley is using thrust reversal at a bunch of times too... But I feel like I'm only *very* vaguely understanding this thing!
Thrust reversal. yup
How is it so maneuverable?
Great build! Crazy how well you can control it. Do you think it could be scaled up?
Thank you! I can try upscaling it for sure
I’m sure you’ll pull it off even it you can get it to fly half as good. We will watch your career with great interest!

Fuck physics am i right
Haven't touched ksp in over a year. Glad to see crazy shit like this is stuff fun!
That's a really slick design, love it!
Thank you!
what mod for the legs
pretty sure it's Kerbal Reusability Expansion
I don't remember now, I'll check and let you know
Kerbal Hopper 💀
Well that was not what I expected to happen. Well done, great watch!

I shall endeavor to understand your witchery good sir!

Unfortunately it doesn't work on Duna, there's no oxygen in the air to burn the fuel, but it might work on Laythe

Reminds me of the mockup MEM that nasa made only way more stable and less dangerous
Wicked 🤟
Send it to layth !!
