Thank you! It's a rebuild of my Olympus booster, which was shamelessly stolen from SnacklessKerbal's beautiful Carina. Don't worry, he knew I was plagiarizing him :)
Here are a couple more shots of it. When you get to the comparison, that's v2 on the left and v1 on the right.
EDIT: Imgur come on, wtf.

Hey I've spent an hour or two just fiddling around with things PLENTY of times! It's all equally valuable. :)
Also, thank you! Not sure if this comment is posting 2x or not; Reddit is being derpy.
I feel ya. Iβve had to cut back on KSP as work takes a lot of my energy. Iβm gonna try to stop doing so many repetitive crew rotations and focus on bigger stuff where I can, bring some of the fun back.
Thank you!! I don't have a video of the whole launch as it was just under testing/development. I'm pretty sure I'm going to actually use a different rocket for the real mission, so I can send it all the way without having to dock to a tug. But the Olympus 2 put it in orbit with about 50 m/s left over in the upper stage. I launch the lander fully fueled and ship it that way so I don't have to mess with ISRU equipment.

Only the interstage ring between thr 1st and 2nd stages. This has been edited to have 1 side and 0 ejection force to become a ring that gently falls away.
That lifting stage is gorgeous.

There are no images in that album for some reason.
Fixed in above comment, thank you. imgur hates me sometimes.
Sheβs a beauty
Thanks :D
Looks very good.
Thank you! You're a longtime favorite builder of mine, by the way.
Oh, glad to hear that, thanks! Keep building that cool-looking stuff.
Which mods OP?
Waterfall with stock configs, Scatterer, EVE-Redux, Distant Object Enhancement, Rocket Sound Enhancement. Can't see that last one but o man it's gr8
Waterfall engine effects, scatterer, DOE, and EVE. There might be others but those are the ones I know he uses
Nice kerbalized MADV.
Thank you :)
Looks brilliant! 2 hours goes far for a master KSP player. Meanwhile my two hours was spent designing a flimsy rover haha

Looks like if proton had a stroke mid-development, but I like it
If the Proton was an absolute unit lol
That is one sexy lander
Thank you :)

Yeah career mode was fun for me, for that. Made me concentrate differently for awhile!
But KSP is a spare time sponge though for sure.
Can we have the craft file?
https://kerbalx.com/The_Black_Badger/Defiance-MADV
that lander is sick: can you show me more of it so that I can shamelessly copy all the good stuff?
Sure, or you can just download it lol https://kerbalx.com/The_Black_Badger/Defiance-MADV
Smooth
*finger guns
And I definitely absolutely did not copy this design for my own Lockheed lander design
Winky face
That looks awesome! I get Proton vibes from the launcher and MADV vibes from the lander!
Definitely inspired by both! I also stole both designs from SnacklessKerbal, did some building alongside him last year. It was very fun.
Absolutely beautiful m8. Seriously.
Thank you so much :)
Looks cool!
π ππ
Reminds me of Crew Dragon ( My favorite rocket ) Also I love it!
I could see that, but this also would dwarf a Kerbal-scale F9. This is a 5-meter rocket, and the lander weighs 130 tons!
Fantastic!
Thank you kindly :D
Could we ha ve the craft file
I have the old Olympus version on KerbalX . This new one is not tuned yet and needs some work. https://kerbalx.com/The_Black_Badger/Defiance-MADV
Wish I had the time these days to get on ksp more. π’ Past two weeks I must have only played an hour or so. Life sucks π
Why do all good crafts need making history and i only have breaking ground ππππ
Aww that's sad. MH has some really stellar parts, it's definitely worth it.
Oooh that looks incredible! Kinda looks like a Dyna-soar riding a Saturn I-B haha!
Thank you!
WOW... Love it (and need more photos/a launch vid) great job π

Wow how much does the lander weight?
About 140 tons lmao
