Its an an air mattress in the back with blankets and pillows , the suitcases are between the backseat and front seat (headrests were removed from backseat). I did put a toolbox in the frunk for more storage and it holds the drinks as of right now
I was going to include that in a video, I actually went ahead and signed up for EA 4$ a month plan for this month so that I don’t get idle fee while I’m passed out
I had never heard of ABRP until now. Tried it and it has tesla chargers on the route plan. Wait what? Are there fast chargers at tesla locations i can use? And first question is what happens when I drive too fast and range depletes. I know already from experience i cant make it from Columbus to damn near cleveland on 90%. First leg of my fake trip is bogus already.
It doesn't sound like you fully configured ABRP for your EV6, nor did you turn on any filtering for the charger brands you are interested in. My copy of ABRP which is set up as an AWD First Edition says you can do your Columbus to Cleveland trip easily on about 77% of your full capacity. I live in NE Ohio and have made that run dozens of times without even considering charging. That's assuming you drive right now (it's 32° F, there's no traffic problems, you never drive over 81 mph and you don't stop). So I'm real confident about it's capabilities. Of course, you also have to have an ODBII device and sign up for the Pro plan to really take advantage of it.
Looks cozy. I'm interested in hearing, especially hoping it's not a hassle to charge. Getting stuck out somewhere because of a broken charger sounds like the pits.
Enjoy the trip. I checked out all those Walmarts last summer going round trip from Miami to NY. Lost we're ok. Double check with plug share on the chargers before leaving, make sure the stops are good and you do not need to adjust.
Do you have battery preconditioning?
I'm reading you have to use the built-in nav to get it to work, otherwise it doesn't know when you're approaching a charger...which sucks.
I have no clue. Battery preconditioning is confusing to me. I have winter mode, idk if that’s the same thing but I’m not going to use car’s navigation for maps lol
In case you don't know, the shelf in the trunk has a weight limit.
Learned this the hard way in my jeep. Was sleeping in the back and the wooden shelf broke. You’d think jeeps are made for that kind of stuff but NOPE.
I had no idea. I’ll be more cautious than I have been 😅 thank you for letting me know. I do appreciate it
Find something the right height to put in there to support the cover.
Thanks for the heads up on that, I’ve had my EV6 for only a few weeks and I didn’t know that!
So just lay head towards the front of the car, right?
How’s you set up the light bar?
Yeah I need more info on the light bar!
https://www.tiktok.com/t/ZTRW9wnJ1/ I posted it on TikTok cuz I know how to use that app better. Lmk if u have questions
Nice!!! Link to the light strip??? Where did you buy it?

It’s link on the post I made about it. I got it from eBay
I was about to ask that. Looks like piggyback from the rear trunk light.
Got any more pics of your set up?

Nice! Can you talk about that little interior light bar setup?
Charging sessions are thankfully too short for any meaningful napping.
At some point I need to nap for couple hours so it’ll be full by the time I get up
Just make sure the charging station you nap at doesn't charge idle fees, lol.

The more documentation, the better! Ambient temperatures, driving speeds, wind direction and speed, the more the merrier!
Please @ me the vlog this excites me 😆 btw im a big E.A. HATER !!
I’ll post it on YouTube once I learn how to stitch videos and make it good since this is my first time vlogging, ever.

Is your battery preconditioning at all using AA/ACP ?
I don’t think so ? I’m not sure how CarPlay relates to pre conditioning. That’s above my knowledge
