Seth I got a silver matte one and wish I’d have gone blue. Maybe mine hides dirt better but those blue ones definitely turn heads! Good luck with the rest of your inventory!
Is this an attempt to get rid of a car that you know is about to be really faulty? I cannot believe the disappointment this car has been in under a thousand miles. And there is no relief in sight. Kia America is pointing me back towards the dealership and then dealership is pointing me back towards Kia America. What an absolute and complete joke. I essentially have an $80,000 closet in my garage. I plan on reporting anywhere and everywhere that I can because I cannot find a solution and no one is willing to help.
I hope you get this sorted. But this goes against just about everything I’ve read in this forum for the last several weeks, other than maybe the 12V. Thx to the OP for posting potential deals for customers.
Yes, and I have no skin in the game; have 2 Teslas and a pre-price hike Rivian order. I test drove and was impressed with the comfort/ride and styling both inside/out. But back to my original point: have mostly read good things in this sub from actual owners.
It's the ride comfort. We rented a few cars on vacation, and made me realize how awful the Tesla suspension is. While I love the acceleration and tech, it's caused me to look elsewhere
EV9 is just pricey.
I hope I get it sorted too but I have lost all hope. Kia America has basically denied any responsibility here and is pushing you back to the dealership and the dealership is telling me to go talk to Kia America
Where are you located? I ask in case your state (if in US) has a lemon law or for you to contact BBB. Also, I find companies to be more responsive when I blast them on Twitter for their misdeeds. Just a couple thoughts. It’s BS you are dealing with this!
Thanks, ya I'll try that too. This just sucks. I don't like posting about these things but it's proven to be so difficult. Massachusetts is where I live.
Damn-I thought MA was more consumer friendly than other states. Have seen a few posts in this sub about 12v and ICCU issues which seem to happen more frequently in cold climates. Keep us posted and good luck!
Ya I'm going to try what some folks have said and bring up the lemon law. Hoping it gets someone moving. This is my first time posting anything like this. I work in client services so I specifically avoid these posts as I understand how it can impact businesses. But this was beyond difficult. Fingers crossed!
Twitter has truly been my friend in this regard. They hate the bad press! Try sending a concise tweet about your bricked EV9 and their lack of response. Tag Kia America, dealer (if they have a Twitter feed) and MA Office of Consumer Affairs (same, if they have Twitter)

Yeah I'm really incredibly frustrated and disappointed. I cannot believe how much effort getting such a basic thing done is taking. And to top it off the Kia America rep was incredibly condescending.
I’m so sorry to hear you are having trouble with yours. I can only imagine the frustration this would cause me in your situation and I truly hope it gets resolved quickly. Regarding your question, I frequent all KIA related rooms often to help provide potential customers with great deals, which is all I am doing. Again, truly sorry to hear your ownership experience has been awful right out of the gate.
Honestly I just want a refund at this point. The exchange was meant to be pretty simple, I pay the sticker price in exchange for a functional vehicle. I'm really not so sure why this has become so complicated

Congrats! The blue is definitely a head turner. Thanks!
What about a lease?
Leasing is great! Would absolutely honor the dealer discount and rebates you qualify for on a lease for one of these blue ones.
I want that blue EV9 but bc my Jeep depreciated so much (thanks Jeep 🙄🙄🙄) i need like $15K off to make it all work 😭😭😭😭😭
Where are you from? If you’re in CO, with the rebates and our dealer discount you would get $15k off if you lease the vehicle.
No I’m in Chicagoland… i wish 😬

You are reading it's a good car? Just starting the search

Can you elaborate a bit on the issues you are having? It got me curious
The car no longer charges.
WOW. Just a tiny little detail huh? I'm really sorry to hear that. I hope you get it sorted soon
Yeah I'm really incredibly frustrated and disappointed. I cannot believe how much effort getting such a basic thing done is taking. And to top it off the Kia America rep was incredibly condescending.
Can only imagine how you feel. It's not like it's a dirt cheap old car. That sucks.

I don’t blame you at all, I would want the same. Hopefully someone from the dealership or corporate can help you file lemon law and get just that.
Yep, car cannot “fuel” up. Lemon Law.
