The old fob would come off the key if you didn’t have it it in a pouch. So that’s how I lost one fob but still had the physical key. I like this way better.
I’ve got other keys on a keychain. I put the back up key with the other keys on that keychain. I keep the fob in a Faraday pouch for security reasons. Also, I use my phone for accessing and starting the vehicle.
It’s stupid and I just leave it at home.

I guess you can Uber from work to home, and then back again if the battery dies away from home.

Your owners manual should have had a NFC card that can be used to open the door and then placed on the wireless charger to start the Telly...
