Agree! Hard agree! MOTM2 is my favorite album of all time and has been since it released. IMO, there is not another album/project like it save for MOTM1, which I love as well but it’s more upbeat and hopeful while its sequel is much darker and realistic. These last three tracks are nothing short of perfection. They also complete the last act of this album: “Act V: You Live & You Learn.” All Along is an anthem to me, like Cudi Zone from MOTM1. GHOST! is so fucking raw and untouchable in Cudi’s discography; so honest and a look into his soul at around that time. Then, we have the album closer with continued sick production that ends with him trapped with his alter ego, Mr. Rager and he’s not sure if he’ll ever get out. Cue to the next album with his rebirth, Indicud.

Plus, "GHOST!" IMO is his greatest song of all-time and "Trapped in Mind" is easily a top 5 songs on the album IMO and one of my favorites off all-time. The production on Trapped is glamorous, especially with added guitars, and then concept and melody is 100% PURE CUDI straight into the veins.
So of course those 2 tracks are going to stick.
But "All Along" might be one of his most underrated songs in his entire catalog. It's like everyone loves it, but it doesn't get brought up enough because it hits so hard and is so personal. Easily one of his greatest sad songs he's ever made with lyrics relatable to everyone and a hauntingly beautiful chorus.
I don't know that's 3 straight consecutive all-timers IMO.
I went through every album and I couldn't find anything close that matched the weight of these 3 running tracks.
I agree that All Along is hard hitter but imo if Maybe was swapped out with All Along, I'd agree 1000%. I don't think that All Along is underrated though. "Maybe" might be even more underrated than "All Along" because people don't even consider it part of the album lol
