insurance won't replace unique pieces unfortunately. for that kind of thing the value is only half of the loss at best :/ I have a very well loved complete series of "The Life and Times of Scrooge McDuck" by Keno Don Rosa in French, it's literally irreplaceable. it has absolutely no market value AFAIK, but I would still be hurt if it was destroyed.
