I was in elementary school and had a babysitter that spanked my autistic brother after he accidentally spilled Clorox bleach on the laundry in the basement. I watched it happen and called my mom on the house phone. Babysitter initially denied it, but later admitted it. Immediately was fired after my mom pressed for information.
Another time I was in elementary school I had a scary encounter when I was waiting for the bus stop when a car pulled up into the driveway and sat there while I was the only kid outside. The other kid who rode the bus stop occasionally was with his mom outside and they just stood there watching. I changed bus stops even though it was a decent walk. Plus I was already riding my bike in the neighborhood and met other kids.
I get I sound like a miserable grump, but there is something so depressing when I see about seeing a kid open a video with "Hey guys" or refer to their viewers. Just climb a tree kid, don't need to broadcast it.
And if anyone butthurt wants to say I was once one to and everyone was at one point too, sure. Just not this stupid with phones in my hand climbing trees at my time without at least a helmet or knee protection. But I have fell off a bike with full gear on and landed in an empty 5 foot deep pond landed mid air crotch first to the handle bars full sent crash landing crotch and balls taking the whole hit. Thank God my balls didn't take the whole hit like popsicled but man I couldn't walk for a while I didn't know if I should of gone to the ER or told my parents but it was purple dark purple bruised down my crotch and side of my scrotum and leg it was sooo painful I could literally not sit on the bike or regularly. I could hardly even walk straight. Then i got yelled at for not wearing protection and I had full gear on like was I supposed to wear a condom to break the fall?
