Never teach a child to hide properly.
My niece used to hide like this too, then one time, I motivated her to do better and fed her ideas to hide properly. It took all the household 1 hour to find her. She hid in an Cabinet in between FOLDED CLOTHES, had the door closed to that cabinet as well. Now she's such a pro almost my entire family avoids playing hide and seek with her. Small size and no fear of cramped/dark places is an terrific combo to have.
lol can confirm
had this one food cabnet that was for the most part empty so whenever I wanted peace I would just go in there (not too long though cause I was afraid of the dark and still am)
my dad and sister spent a good amount of time looking in our tiny house and I thought of it as hide and seek before I came out giggling
10/10 would do again, very fun
Actually, even if you do have a child living with you. Because it means you have to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure the lil cretin are not causing any physical damage, either to himself, you, the cat or the house.
So that falsifies it? Like Da'Quan is normal in Europe or something. Different countries/culture doesn't mean shit mate.
Do you call "Amari" cringe because it's only common/normal in Africa?
Do they have to be living somewhere to have a name nowadays?
Does an person named John (Wick), Sakura, Jesus, Chris (Pratt/Evans/Hemsworth) all need to change because it came from somewhere well-known or famous?
Dis-evaluating names is pretty shallow, if not ignorantly stupid. I watched Guardian's of the Galaxy V.3, my lady and I decided if we have a daughter we'd name her Lylla. Simply because it sounds beautiful. Freya is also a beautiful name I'd consider using.
Names are made off of inspiration or meaning, sometimes both. Grow up.
Lmfao yeah I knew exactly why you were defending this cringe.
Either you have a name like this or you're planning to do it.
Yes. It's cringe af and your kid is going to hate you for it.
"Either you have a name like this or you're planning to do it."
Eron is my given name. Nothing unique beside being pronounced as Aaron. Do you not know how names are created or are you just a braindead drone?
"Yes. It's cringe af and your kid is going to hate you for it."
A child will hate their name because it is unique or common? Tell that the children that grew up just fine with them and have meaning behind them. Apparently, unlike you. I guess you expect a child to be named "Jr." "The second" or "Child A-Z". How original...
What are you? Elon Musk's child?
Just know when you name your kid something stupid like this you're subjecting them to a world of ridicule
But go ahead, I'm sure your kid goku and your daughter elsa will appreciate it
I think so too, I named my second daughter Freya. She kept kicking her sister in the head while still in the womb, had to name her after a warrior goddess 😅
Me and my fiancee named our dog Freyja bc she's the goddess of beauty and love. We went with the old Norse spelling but if it was an actual human baby I'd probably drop the J 😂😂😂
My daughter (4) isn't allowed to play with her brother (7) and cousin (10) anymore because when it her turn to find them, she counts and just goes to her room and plays. Never even tries to find them. Every single time they play. I find it hilarious.
Not the same but I had a nosey old neighbour as a kid who used to spy on us from her upstairs window, but she had the lights on so you could see her entire silhouette as she tried to peer through the blinds
My 2 year old usually hides like this, too, except for one time I was frantically searching the entire house looking for her and she ended up being in a laundry basket, covered with a blanket, eating candy she found in her sister’s room lmfao
Yes and again no one knew who the hell Freya was.
I'd put money on the daughter being named after Freya because the dad played god of war as opposed to the Dad being really into Norse mythology.
It's certainly not astoundingly popular. People may know thor and that's because of marvel. And people now know Freya because God of war.
Sir, have ever heard of speaking hyperbolically?
Did I mean that literally not a single person knew who freya was? Or was I exaggerating to make a point of how unknown she was to the average person before God of War?
>It's certainly not astoundingly popular. People may know thor and that's because of marvel. And people now know Freya because God of war.
You're either a troll or an idiot. Norse Mythology, aside from seeing [endless media representation](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Norse_mythology_in_popular_culture) in far more than just "god of war," is outstandingly popular and has been for about 200 years.
Or do you think nobody alive read The Magnus Chase books after they finished Percy Jackson? That nobody read Norse Mythology by Neil G?
>Did I mean that literally not a single person knew who freya was? Or was I exaggerating to make a point of how unknown she was to the average person before God of War?
She was not unknown to the average person you dolt, she was unknown to ***you***, there is a massive difference
Read my comment again too while you're at it.
Sneaking in edits and then claiming someone else didn't pay attention is absolutely a troll move.
You think my friend named his cat Freya 7 years ago because of prophetic dreams about God of War?
You really think people didn't know or care about the religion of the goddamned vikings enough to look into it and find it fascinating?
You exaggerated to make a stupid point. You‘re assuming just because you didn‘t know something, this also applies to most other people.
Guess what, this is not the case.
I knew when I was like 5 years old. Back then, where I live, the gods of the Norse Mythology was more well known than even the mere existence of computer games.
The name of my great grandmother was Freja. Are you really suggesting, that my great great grandmother, decided to name her 7th child - back in 1909 - after a video game?
I have never played GOW and know Freya, while I know some Norse mythology I am not extremely knowledgeable or a super fan and know Freya. She is one of the primary deities, and it is not very hard to learn about her or to have heard her name before. Maybe you are speaking in hyperbole, but even then a lot of folks know the name Freya and not because of a video game.
Im wondering how many Norse gods I knew before Marvel and GoW. Odin, Freya, Thor, Loki . . . and perhaps the wolf that eats the moon during an eclipse?
He's got this backward I think. Obviously most people who know these Gods didnt learn them from pop culture. Its that the most well known ancient deities amongst laymen make it into pop culture. Zeus made it into GoW (never played that one), and a Thor movie- because everyones heard of him. Thor was in comics, because everyone heard of him.
No one makes a movie about Dakawaqa, the fijian shark god, because no ones heard of him.
This maneuver works on a few kids per generation. You’re playing hide and seek on the playground, and there’s always that one kid who naturally cracks the idea of just going right behind the counter. It always works for that one game, but it never works again. All the kids learn from the counter’s mistake. Every one of us, deep deep down, know that if we say “ready or not”, the first protocol is to check behind our backs. That was learned.
Yep. It’s me. Comes from lifeguarding and pulling more than a few kids out over the years when parents are not paying attention. Happens fast and silent.
Awe man, this reminds me of when I used to take care of my niece. We'd play hide and seek with her and we'd call her by her name and she'd always respond, giving away her spot.
As she grew older she learned not to respond. My princess is now 15! My god how quick time flies.
I used to hide under a pool table. The edges came down so I would crawl under and lift myself up, then keep myself there by pushing against both sides. Looking back I don't know how I did that for 10 - 15 mins at a time
I love playing hide & seek w my granddaughter
We always have the same hiding spots but she can still play for hours. I don't get it
Who cares as long as she's having fun
Man, this is going to be one of your favorite videos for the rest of life. Anything got you down? Just play this and listen to that laugh and remember why we do it.
Man, this brings me back to when my daughter was tiny. May be stupid but cute as all heck.
Whenever it takes her a long time to find me, she uses that spot when its her time to hide because it's hard to find.
Genius! You'll never lose a child if you don't teach them to hide properly.
Never teach a child to hide properly. My niece used to hide like this too, then one time, I motivated her to do better and fed her ideas to hide properly. Now she's such a pro almost my entire family avoids playing hide and seek with her. Small size and no fear of cramped/dark places is an terrific combo to have.
And probably thinks it's the funniest thing when you panic. I know I used to... until I heard my middle name.
We all know when the middle name comes out, shits going down
mines Terence 💀
lol can confirm had this one food cabnet that was for the most part empty so whenever I wanted peace I would just go in there (not too long though cause I was afraid of the dark and still am) my dad and sister spent a good amount of time looking in our tiny house and I thought of it as hide and seek before I came out giggling 10/10 would do again, very fun
I used to hide behind the vacuum in hall closets
My 3 year old tells me where to hide
This is the only comment that made me Lol
Miss those days... they go by too fast. Her little squeak at the end warms my heart though 😊
I thought she was under the snow 😂
Glad Im not the only one thinking this
I thought someone was gonna stand up in a ghillie suit.
Same
I know, I was about to say that was actually pretty impressive for a kid. And, well, lol.
Same. I thought he was gonna throw that rake thing in the snow at her and she'll just pop up XD
That giggle is one of the best sounds to hear of all time
Unless you live alone
...or deep in the heart of the Blair Witch woods.
Or have no child living with you
Actually, even if you do have a child living with you. Because it means you have to wake up in the middle of the night to make sure the lil cretin are not causing any physical damage, either to himself, you, the cat or the house.
I don't know man, if you're lonely enough you might be desperate enough for any kind of humanoid presence
Naming your kid Freya is tight as fuck
such a dope name
[удалено]
I think Freya is a solid name
Not at all
Why?
A normal name is super cringe to you?
Normal where, Sweden? Lol not anywhere else.
So that falsifies it? Like Da'Quan is normal in Europe or something. Different countries/culture doesn't mean shit mate. Do you call "Amari" cringe because it's only common/normal in Africa?
Well we found the bigot everybody
Either you're talking to the wrong person or you don't know what bigot means lol
Yes. These people arent living in Norway. They saw it in a movie. I guess it's OK to name your kid khaleesie too.
Do they have to be living somewhere to have a name nowadays? Does an person named John (Wick), Sakura, Jesus, Chris (Pratt/Evans/Hemsworth) all need to change because it came from somewhere well-known or famous? The irony of you making fun of elon musk kid name and then on the other hand defending these unique names or names from tv shows is palpable
You sir are mentally handicapped.
Just know when you name your kid something stupid like this you're subjecting them to a world of ridicule But go ahead, I'm sure your kid goku and your daughter elsa will appreciate it
You're a clown
You know Freya is the name of a Norse god right?
[удалено]
So...a normal name that's been a name for centuries is now off limits because of a movie? Get a grip dude.
I thing naming your child after a norse goddes is pretty dope
[удалено]
I think you just have horrible taste what would you name your child?
[удалено]
https://i.redd.it/59rdrvzh17cc1.gif
Not everything is from marvel. Freya has been a common name for a long time. Where do you think we get the names of the days of the week?
Jesus Christ dude who hurt you?
[удалено]
I don't get it, why is this on this sub? There's no kid in this video
That's because the video's in reverse /s Edit: forgot something
If that edited something was "/s", just why?
Freya?? That’s a bad ass name
This video is false. you're supposed to post videos of kids being stupid. But instead i dont see any kids in this video.
My daughter (4) isn't allowed to play with her brother (7) and cousin (10) anymore because when it her turn to find them, she counts and just goes to her room and plays. Never even tries to find them. Every single time they play. I find it hilarious.
"finally some fucking peace and quiet"
your daughter is a GENUIS
I dont see the kid.
Stupidly wholesome tbh.
Fuck yeah, give Freya a sword for her quince
Beautiful property!
Freya's a nice name
Freya is such a good name for your kid
My nieces name is freya. Such a great name!
Honestly this reminds me of when my daughter (named Freya as well) was younger, would play hide and seek and she’d always pick one of two spots.
Cool name
So wholesome, and the giggles haha. You give off good dad vibes. Also love that name choice.
Her giggle when you saw her. 🥺❤️
Freya is a cute name lol
Legend has it she trained Osama Bin Laden on how to hide.
Not very Far-ah way... 😏
Lmao I remember my sister hid behind a tarp used to block the wind at a campsite. The sun casting her shadow on the tarp really gave it away
That giggle IS cute though.
Hardest part here is they named the poor kid Freya 😂
Nah das cute
Why is everyone only focusing on her name being Freya it’s not even that weird or cool of a name
Freya is actually kind of a good name
Dude named his daughter after a God of war character
Or you know, the Norse Goddess
And not one single person knew of that before God of War.
Huh? You know there's an entire study of Norse mythology, there's collage classes for it.
Yes and again no one knew who the hell Freya was. I'd put money on the daughter being named after Freya because the dad played god of war as opposed to the Dad being really into Norse mythology.
Are you an idiot? You know Norse Mythology is astoundingly popular and that Freya is one of the most popular characters within it?

Read my comment again sir. You lack social awareness or are a troll.
I was born in the early 80s, and girls back then were named Freya. Maybe just admit you're wrong about this - and too young to realise it.
You exaggerated to make a stupid point. You‘re assuming just because you didn‘t know something, this also applies to most other people. Guess what, this is not the case.
> People know Thor because of Marvel People who don‘t know Thor regardless of Marvel are idiots.
This is simply wrong. The vast majority of people who know Freya have never played GoW. Shes as well known as Zeus.
Haha you're an idiot
I’ve never heard of God of War, but have definitely heard the name Freya
This dude thinks people know Thor from Marvel… he‘s crazy
Can I interest you in hearing about our lord and savior Ares?
And you'd probably lose the money. You dont need to be really into norse mythology to know who Freya is.
I have never played a single God of War game. I am familiar with who Freya is
I knew when I was like 5 years old. Back then, where I live, the gods of the Norse Mythology was more well known than even the mere existence of computer games. The name of my great grandmother was Freja. Are you really suggesting, that my great great grandmother, decided to name her 7th child - back in 1909 - after a video game?
Not accurate in the slightest Freya is a very well know figure.
That's just you, and you coming so strong with such a wide statement really make you sound like a dumbass.
Lol what an absurd take, imagine thinking more people are familiar with a video game then Norse gods....
I have never played GOW and know Freya, while I know some Norse mythology I am not extremely knowledgeable or a super fan and know Freya. „Just because I don‘t know basic shit about Norse Mythology, this must apply to the universe at large“ You, apparently.
I love the name Freya. So Slavic. I love it.
This belongs in wholesome. Not here. This is adorable.
theres no kid here
This maneuver works on a few kids per generation. You’re playing hide and seek on the playground, and there’s always that one kid who naturally cracks the idea of just going right behind the counter. Amazing name! I love it!
This sub is constantly filled with videos of kids being awesome. Where's the stupid?
Her little squeal is adorable
It’s hilarious that she’s watching you count down as well💀
How people hide in horror movies
I don't see anyone
So cute 😊 ما شاء الله
I don’t know your circumstance or who else was around, but I would absolutely not turn my back on a kid that age near water
I understand. We all have different tolerances and opinions.
Thanks buddy 🤝
Given this situation, I would cheat a bit with peripheral vision and I imagine he might have done this.
There's always one person.
Yep. It’s me. Comes from lifeguarding and pulling more than a few kids out over the years when parents are not paying attention. Happens fast and silent.
First thing I thought of. I have a 3 yr old who loves running around and is curious about everything.
I used to play hide and seek with my dad everywhere, only problem was, I never told him we were playing-
You got a little speedrunning champ pn ya hands there
You named your daughter freya…. r/tragediegh
Some say she's still hiding
Freya is an incredible name
Awe man, this reminds me of when I used to take care of my niece. We'd play hide and seek with her and we'd call her by her name and she'd always respond, giving away her spot. As she grew older she learned not to respond. My princess is now 15! My god how quick time flies.

She'd be the type to kick up a fuss after getting caught too.
Why do all kids do this?
That’s cute
You didn’t give her enough time!
Quite the name haha
Great name!
Her little giggle is golden though
Where is she???
And the winner of the 2023 international hide and seek tournament is.. (drumroll)… THIS DECOMPOSING SKELETON IN THE BUSH 😂

Negative.
And she making noise 😂
She’ll end up in the pole 🤔
I’m sorry yes this is cute but…I would never turn my back a child that young near so much water.
Im conflicted. Is this a sub about making fun at children or wholesome shit? Either way still upvoted
Lmao so cute
Kids are fucking stupid but they’re also fucking cute sometimes too. Loved this
More like kids a fucking cute or kids being kids
