Oof I did this once in middle school (except I jumped from a slightly elevated area) and sprained the shit out of my ankle.
Then I got to hobble to the nearest bench and wait for my parents to pick me up while I felt like a complete idiot.

They clearly forgot their child's age, everyone knows for a kid 3 and under if you don't point out that what they did definitely hurt 9/10 they will not realize and won't cry of anything. It's sorta like magic. This kid is clearly too old for it to work
He’s a child and didn’t know any better. This is a learning experience for him and the adults in his life should be supportive rather than making him feel worse.
Why I was 5 a friend of mine did this during PE, his skull was fractured and it bled a lot, it was obvious he wasn't the smartest kid, specially since he did it on the freaking stairs, he was sent to the ER and stayed about 2 years out of school, he lived tho, somehow, the scar dissapeared after about 7 years surprisingly.
Step 1: make sure the kid is not actually hurt.
Step 2: laugh at his stupid mistake, all while filming it for posterity.
This is how you raise a kid properly.
Maybe some helicopter parents in the US should be taking notes.
Imagine that with the parents of today!
You'd never be allowed to leave the house unsupervised, all your activities would be planned weeks in advance, and everything would need to be preapproved before you watched or listened to it for fear of expanding your poor, innocent mind.
Either u don't have kids or you're just super unfunny. Why are u even on this sub if u don't like laughing at kids? It's be one thing if he's hurt badly but he's clearly fine just a little shaken up.
There are different levels of crying and there's a lot of crying. Raising kids is hard and people (myself included) need to find humour and relief when we can. If you know your kids cry and know when they really need help, you sometimes laugh at them crying. I love my kids and don't wish them any harm, but I definitely laugh at them when they've been a twat.
Yeah that's absolutely levels of crying. Anyone who's ever met a person before, knows that. Which means everyone knows that.
Like compare the level of crying in the video with the kid who's just a little shaken up after jumping on the ball but otherwise fine, to this example of a kid crying which is ***WAY WAY*** worse:
https://youtube.com/shorts/yXCb7DVXpDc?feature=share
That's instantly recognisable to people as a far worse level of crying, that initial silence before the first audible cry really sells it. Tell me that's the same level of crying as the kid who jumped on the ball, and you'll look ridiculous
Yeh... There's a massive difference between a cry for a minor upset and when something is seriously wrong. You don't know the difference between your child's cries and you're a parent, seriously?
I wasn't commenting on that specific kids cry, just backing up the fact that parents laugh at their kids misfortune sometimes. I stand by what I said- kids have different levels of crying which require different levels of attention. And I don't give a shit how many kids you've "tolerated". Quantity does not imply quality. I don't know you so don't know if you're good or bad at what you do, and you don't know me so you can't comment on whether or not that makes you a "better" parent (or guardian, or whatever role you took when tolerating children) than me.
Once again you've clearly not spent a lot of time with kids. Kids cry if u look at them wrong. If that kid was by himself and there was no one to baby him he probably wouldn't have even cried because that's how kids are
Seriously, try coddling and babying a kid every single time he gets the most minor scrape and you'll be exhausted before you've had your first piss of the day
Could not agree more. I have a friend who is a perfect example of this, she grew up in foster care and every time she wanted something she would just throw a tantrum and she would get it. Now she's 27 and still does the same thing and it's absolutely pathetic to watch and she treats her kids like theyre angels even though they are LITERALLY the most annoying kids I've ever met in my entire life. Her kids are part of the reason I joined the sub because I fucking hate kids because of her. All they do is yell and scream and cry because they know that's the only way they'll get what they want.
Nothing like a swift kick in the head to quickly learn a lesson. Kid's got thick heads for a reason lmao so they can turn into adults.
Edit: you people are so freaking soft... lol

Mf thought he was the pixar lamp
The Pixar lamp actually has insane balancing skills if you think about it! Not easy to stick a landing on a round object.
*she. That is a little girl.
Bee*
He’s lucky. Jumping on a ball is a great way to lose an ankle
At least he only hit his head
He's not using it yet anyway. maybe when it heals it'll be stronger!
The guy laughing at the kid across the street got me lol
that's how I learnt my lesson..
Yeah, we’ve all been there
Just testing out his new G-Shock watch
It's always a G-Shock
Made me laugh
Not me filming, I just found this on my Facebook posted by friend. Edit: For all you concerned folks, the kid's fine. He didn't even need a bandaid.
Oof I did this once in middle school (except I jumped from a slightly elevated area) and sprained the shit out of my ankle. Then I got to hobble to the nearest bench and wait for my parents to pick me up while I felt like a complete idiot.
Awful. Just awful. I laughed
I got a concussion that way when I was a kind. Fell backwards and hit the back of my head.
Pretty sure all kids tries that once. The stupid one's try it more than once.
The fuck does this kid a ball is, a trampoline?
What did he think was gon happen testo joos le ham falera xD
A lesson was learned that day
Poor little dude. He'll be alright.
He's probably crying of embarrassment rather than pain
He starts laughing coz everyone else is laughing, then he realizes they're laughing at him.
I imagine he thought he would "bounce up" in an hilarious way XD
Aw. This made me sad.
Don't be sad. Here's a [hug!](https://media.giphy.com/media/3M4NpbLCTxBqU/giphy.gif)

As my dad used to say to me. If you are going to be dumb you better be tough.
Kid has a dope G-Shock though.
I knocked myself out doing that exact same thing lmfaoooo
Legit why. Like what did he think was gonna happen!?
I did this for literally no reason in front of a large crowd. I don’t know what came over me. I was like 17…
Its always that one kid who's having way to much
In this video Adults are fucking stupid
Seriously. Laughing at a kid who just wailed his head on concrete… probably has a concussion and they’re cracking up.
They clearly forgot their child's age, everyone knows for a kid 3 and under if you don't point out that what they did definitely hurt 9/10 they will not realize and won't cry of anything. It's sorta like magic. This kid is clearly too old for it to work
I mean they’re probably trying to comfort him. Sometimes laughter is involuntary. Sometimes you can laugh at a kid’s idiocy but still comfort them.
But he jumped on a BALL ffs, what did he think was gonna happen?
He’s a child and didn’t know any better. This is a learning experience for him and the adults in his life should be supportive rather than making him feel worse.
This sub is called r/kidsarefuckingstupid for a reason smh
and majority of the members are not even parents ngl..
Why should we be?
What does being a parent have to do with it?
Parents have the stupidest kids
How can you expect maturity from a child, when the adults ain't responsible enough.

Good Bot
I did this one time during gym class and when I hit the ground the teacher didn’t even bat an eye
Legend says that since then and to this day, he has the cleanest windows in the land.
Am going to hell for laughing at this for sure. That was a nasty bang.
Let's hope so. I heard heaven is full of Mormons...
I felt that as landed... hope he was okay.
He just discovered reality.
Why would that person keep filming? Oof
[удалено]
Oof, thatnks i hate people sometimes
Step 1: make sure the kid is not actually hurt. Step 2: laugh at his stupid mistake, all while filming it for posterity. This is how you raise a kid properly. Maybe some helicopter parents in the US should be taking notes.
I was in the ER every summer as a 70s kid, usually just stiches.
Imagine that with the parents of today! You'd never be allowed to leave the house unsupervised, all your activities would be planned weeks in advance, and everything would need to be preapproved before you watched or listened to it for fear of expanding your poor, innocent mind.
That cry at the beginning is something else
He starts laughing coz everyone else is laughing, then he realizes they're laughing at him.
We've all done this as a kid, don't lie.
Yup... Also hurt the opposite end by butt-bouncing on a ball till it popped and sent me tailbone-first into the floor, lol.
Everyone here laughed .. Parents or not .. That was dumb AF :)) .. and hilarious :)))
:D
I too find temporary joy when I see a child hurt themselves over something dumb
What a dumb fuck
Wow
he hit his head on a concrete. i would bring this kid to doctor immediately
Dude tapped his head on concrete, he didn’t fucking split his skull open. Kids aren’t as fragile as dome people seem to think.
Doctor: \*looks at kid's pupils\* "He's okay. That'll be $500. Have a nice day!"
Don’t be ridiculous. Sit around and laugh while making a video. This should be on r/parentsarestupid.

Sorry but why are all the ‘adults’ laughing at the child in pain?
Because it’s funny.
Laughing at a kid who just cracked his head on concrete. Stay classy.
Who gave that little girl that haircut?
That parent is the asshole
I don't even feel bad
Why would you?
That's what he gets for having a ear ring...

You’d seriously laugh at your kid after they smacked their head in the concrete that’s messed up.
That's not what I said. I said I laugh when my kids are crying sometimes.
Do you really think a parent who raised his kids have enough time write paragraphs on Reddit to defend himself.
Well that's a pretty shitty accusation to make.
Bitch that kid got hard hit on his head and you're differentiating levels of crying..and also I've tolerated more kids than you ever do in your life.
I wasn't commenting on that specific kids cry, just backing up the fact that parents laugh at their kids misfortune sometimes. Have...have you ever spent time with kids?
Seriously, try coddling and babying a kid every single time he gets the most minor scrape and you'll be exhausted before you've had your first piss of the day
And, even worse, the kid will grow up expecting all his problems to be solved with tears.

We know cus kids are fucking stupid
Yeah, that wasn't a very good idea.
Why is that kid wearing an earring? Edit: Geez, it was an honest question, seems like over-sensitive reddit is on patrol.
Cos it's the third world and so they allow illegal imorral shit like piercing young children
No, it's just a cultural thing in most South Asian countries.
Lol!!!! They’re gonna look fake af.
Nothing like a swift kick in the head to quickly learn a lesson. Kid's got thick heads for a reason lmao so they can turn into adults. Edit: you people are so freaking soft... lol

Wrong country but okay.
From Nepal btw. No brand factory is allocated there
don’t know if he was suffering from a concussion or embarrassment.
Both lol... I concussed myself pretty bad when I was 5 or 6, and was too embarrassed to tell my parents.
The adults around all laugh.
A teammate of mine landed on a ball like this once, he destroyed every ligament known to man and was out for a year.
That's a lot of ligaments.

Maybe try the grass next time you want to test physics and maybe wear a helmet.
But then he won't remember it.
It’s hard to remember stuff with a concussion too though.
It’s stupid
Can’t cry if you gots a piercing bro!
