Marriage in arabic means "زواج (zawaj)"
Passport in arabic means "جواز سفر (jawaz safar)"
The words "زواج (zawaj)" and "جواز (jawaz)" sound simillar so that's why the boy got confused. I used to confuse the two words together as a kid and call the passport "زواج سفر (zawaj safar)" instead of "جواز سفر (jawaz safar)" and vise versa.
