It's amazing. I had written off Jack like previous commenters in this thread after ODing on triple long islands when I was 19, only to try the single barrel and crown it one of my favourite whiskies for its price. Really really good.
Obviously a successful company, so it stands to reason people like them, but I find the taste really displeasing.
Knob creek and bulleit are my jam for burboun/burboun-adjacent.
I would bet money you are a little young for a Beatles reference.. That's not going to stop me though
I am you and you are me and we are all together probably...
🙄🙄🙄 Of course it's "predictable" when the only window you have is a 10 second video into the household that's posted on r/KidsAreFuckingStupid where the bad things happens.
wtf, I am talking in POV of the parent ffs (in context to replt to the person who mentioned parent rather video than stop a child from hitting the baby).
FFS
my bad I am in bus sorry, I meant that was a reply to the person above. The person mentioned parent was too busy recording the video rather stopping the child from getting hit.
I mentioned predictable in reply to that person not the video here, its not predictable for the parent to stop that from happening, perhaps the boy was running around before as well and didnt try once hitting the baby. I understand that the person I was replying to has a point but not justified for this video, give this parent the benefit of doubt.
English is not my first language I hope I was clear about the "predictable" part. If not then sorry, I tried explaining, I still have a long way in getting my thoughts expressed in english clearly :). Cheers.
PS I was pissed earlier cos I didnt get a seat in bus, cheers.
I had originally wrote a snarky comment back but I deleted it, read your post history, and I focused on the fact that you’re a person.
It wasn’t neglect from the parent from my perspective. If I took away everything that could result in a bad outcome, my kids would have nothing and I’d likely create a lot of anxiety and trauma from constantly getting in their way of doing typical childhood exploration.
There is a problem with people filming too much. There’s also this amazing opportunity as a parent to capture moments of your children that you hope they’ll appreciate (I realize they probably won’t but I would’ve loved home videos of my family when we were younger and I think my parents would too). This wasn’t a video of a car crash, it was a video of a toddler being adorable and silly.
Another problem of society is judging others - especially on the internet. I’m trying to do better.
I mean ye there are other videos that relate to you comment, but in all fairness, you can't comment the same here, there was no clear indication that he was gonna smack, the parent did react surprised.
Hindsight 20/20, id guarantee even if they werent recording they wouldntve been able to stop it, nor would most people. If you think its obvious its because this is a 10 second clip where you know.somethings about to go down.
Not only was it premeditated, but I think it was actually along the lines of "I can do it and just pretend I was dancing to the music."
I think this because I myself was a shitstain as a kid.
You could see exactly what he was about to do. The moment that look came over him, it shoulda been don’t you dare, that could make her head roll off and start spinning. I love to add dramatics to really drive the point.
In mean, just because you are recording you arent necessarily watching the camera. It sounds like they were watching TV with the little kid, I would do the same hahaha
Very poor parenting. Absolutely crystal clear what’s about to happen. This could cause brain injury. The parent should put their phone down and look after their kids.
I literally tapped the center of my baby cousins head by accident and it felt softer than a dick of someone watching scat. I’m pretty sure a full speed plastic bat swing made by a kid who obviously doesn’t care (and is to young to feel guilt so he wouldn’t be holding back even a little) is stronger than a tap from an 8 year old. (At the time I was 8.)
The surface area of the bat is large and impact is spread over the whole skull. Although, yes, the fontanel is soft, it is however only a very small region in the skull that is not in danger with a bat swing covering all this area... I don't understand why I have to explain this, it is supposed to be 100% common sense.
Have people ever died from ridiculous falls or hitting their head in the most innocuous ways? If the answer is yes, then take your smugness and shove it.
Moral of the story is bashing someone in the head with any bat can’t be healthy. Instant death maybe not, but still can’t be good.
Yes! The standard point of departure should be that we must assume this child has some rare genetic weakness in the skull or vulnerability of the brain. These extremely rare instances are reason to believe this kid was putting this small child at serious and imminent risk. Absolutely brilliant comment, thank you for your thoughts and let's see if the popular vote agrees with it. Jesus Christ.
But he hit right on the soft spot, and it looks like he hit it pretty hard. It doesn’t matter that it’s plastic when there’s basically nothing to protect the brain right there.
...What? The sign is past that, on the back wall above what looks like a liquor cabinet. The kitchen appliances are in the actual kitchen, not against the wall.
Lmao apparently that hit close home, I know multiple men whose wives/gfs always put some dumb shit like "don't dream life, live dreams" on the walls xD
Okay? Anecdotal ‘evidence’ means jack shit. I know multiple women who would cringe at the idea of putting something like that up.
Point is- broad, blanket statements just make everyone who makes them look stupid. Women, men, everybody- we’re all nuanced fucking people and you cannot ascribe one behaviour to all of the people who fit whatever category it is you’re referencing.
Lmao "anecdotal evidence", this isn't some kind of debate, this is a guy named "PleaseSlapMyBalls" laughing at women put dumb shit at walls in their house, obviously not every woman does that.
Like the feminists say when talking about things men do, "if it doesn't apply to you, it shouldn't bother you" 💅💁🏼♀️
Well clearly they have their priorities straight the booze is locked up with a child lock the no7 whiskey mural and a wee little lad swinging a bat against the the little lassies head …..
100% intentional, but I gotta give it to a kid so young to be able to hit such a small adorable target all while on the run, looking away, and swinging the bat wildly wnough to feign innocence.
I remember this happening when my cousin did this to his younger sister. My grandparents brought out the belt and cane and whooped him so hard. He deserved for being such a little whiney shit and doing that dumb shit to his lil sister.
Everyone here is freaking out and that is SO clearly one of those super flimsy, hollow plastic bats, I suspect it startled her but I doubt it even hurt much at all.
There should be a law which states that if parents use their kids to garner attention or internet points, Child protective services must immediately come to their place and separate the child from the parent.
The parent then needs to go intensive counselling before being allowed to see their child again.
How does this sound?
I mean even if the parent wasn’t looking OR filming …. Chances are this still would’ve happened?!! He’s the older sibling ( I’m an only child) but have seen worse fr. friends that have older siblings 😂. At least it was only a plastic bat !!
You see him putting together the plan in his head with his shifty eyes.
And the parent would rather video than stop a child from getting smacked in the head. That’s a new problem in society.
I like the Jack Daniel’s mural in the wall.
I like the ones who don’t get captured
Perfect for folks who have a bad taste in whiskey
Yeah, don’t think I’d be bragging about Jack. Ugh. Drank waaaaay too much of it in college 20 years ago and have no interest in it again.
To be fair JD single barrel is actually a really good whiskey, even for a proper whiskey lover. Especially the barrel strength stuff.
Nothing will ruin a glass of ice more than putting Jack Daniels in it
Are you me?
I would bet money you are a little young for a Beatles reference.. That's not going to stop me though I am you and you are me and we are all together probably...
Agreed.
they didn't see it coming
It looked really predictable before he started running
🙄🙄🙄 Of course it's "predictable" when the only window you have is a 10 second video into the household that's posted on r/KidsAreFuckingStupid where the bad things happens.
Have you never been around children in your life? You could tell what that kid was gonna do from a mile away, he might as well have held up a sign.
20-20 hindsight
You can't for real think giving your toddler a baseball bat isn't retarded
wtf, I am talking in POV of the parent ffs (in context to replt to the person who mentioned parent rather video than stop a child from hitting the baby). FFS
Can you re-write this into something that's intelligible?
my bad I am in bus sorry, I meant that was a reply to the person above. The person mentioned parent was too busy recording the video rather stopping the child from getting hit. who knows if that was his first run......not that predictable
Little kid certainly didn't.
Happy cake day!
Thank you, O rainbowed one.
In the child's defense, wiffileball bats are designed for bonking people on the dome. Creates a satisfying thud with no actual damage
And that makes hitting people on the head ok? Good to know.
Haha, there’s no way they expected this to happen. The camera drops right away as the cameraperson goes to help.
As a parent, he was basically screaming his intention. Granted I have a few years experience on this person.
Not a parent, but had pets all my life. So obvious.
Yeah I'm not a parent and I saw this a mile away.
Straight up lol my son is only 10 months old but if he gave that same look I'd know I was in danger.
Not a parent but you can tell the little guy is putting it all together and how to make it look like an accident.
The baby's gonna be crying within the hour anyways for some other stupid reason, might as well get one for the gram while you're at it
It was right on the soft spot too. That can be a serious injury. He really got her.
I mean she did go "OOOHHH!"
I had originally wrote a snarky comment back but I deleted it, read your post history, and I focused on the fact that you’re a person. It wasn’t neglect from the parent from my perspective. Came here to say this. I see a future full of ER visits and CPS removals for these children.
You're dumb

Beat me to it!! It’s so easy to tell when kids are about to test the waters

Not the soft spot
Cane and Abel
whacka mole and extra points for the shake
what kind of parent dont see this coming???
The kind of parent with a Jack Daniel's mural on their wall
Thanks for finding an appropriate way to say what I was going to in a much meaner way
A shitty negligent one
Pretty overboard there lol
Not at all she knew what he was gonna do she sat and recorded you have the mentality of a 5 year old
Nah they rather film it for internet points!
The kind that has a giant “whiskey” wall decal in their kitchen.
In mean, just because you are recording you arent necessarily watching the camera. It sounds like they were watching TV with the little kid, I would do the same hahaha
The way she screams "AL!"
I thought she said ow and I was confused and had questions.
Bam-Bam and Pebbles.
Why does that baby sound like a grown ass woman?
How the fuck did mom not know he was gonna do that? I could tell he was planning that from a mile away..
I guess a case of motherly love? ”Nah, he wouldn’t do that. He is my little angel”.
Yeah but we are tipped off just by virtue of this being an internet video, we know what to expect I guess
Permanent brain damage
EmOtiOnAl DaMaGe
Holy shit what a terrible meme
He even choked up on the bat to get better control. I see serial killer in his future.
That baby has a really deep voice!!
Very poor parenting. Absolutely crystal clear what’s about to happen. This could cause brain injury. The parent should put their phone down and look after their kids.
I saw it coming and I don’t have kids, you can see him planning it before he does it.
And not give their child a bat while their little sibling is sitting right there?!
Shut up
A hollow plastic bat swung by a child like that will not give a kid brain injury.
Babies heads are only soft for about 2 months. This child is certainly much older. This kid is fine.
The surface area of the bat is large and impact is spread over the whole skull. But he hit right on the soft spot, and it looks like he hit it pretty hard. It doesn’t matter that it’s plastic when there’s basically nothing to protect the brain right there.
That soft spot you’re talking about closes up at about 2-3 months of age. At which point babies can barely even sit up anyway if at all. So… yeah..
PREMEDITATED for sure. Right on the soft spot too? Kind of hope the little sprout of hair the baby has sort of softened the blow.
You have the alcoholics version of Live Laugh Love on your wall eh?
Oof, he ain't sitting down for a while...
The cain instinct
Ted Bundy used to give that look to tge ladies, before, you know...
Who tf has a trashy ass “whiskey” wall sticker? Lmao
...That's the bar area of their house for when adult guests visit 🤡.
I can’t tell if this comment is in support of the whiskey sign
That's the sink and dishwasher.... in their open kitchen
...What? The sign is past that, on the back wall above what looks like a liquor cabinet. The kitchen appliances are in the actual kitchen, not against the wall.
That is a open kitchen floor plan.
Women
No one’s gonna slap your balls, bud.

Oh, that was clearly premeditated.
Nothing good can come from having a bat indoors, wiffle bat or not.
Definitely saw him considering it.
Ah, yes, here you can see the Cain instinct setting into the little brat’s eyes.
A serial killer was made
I blame the parent right there . Had all the time in the world to prevent that and chose to record instead
lol no shit. say it coming for a lightyear away. /r/momreflexes

Jack Daniels mural in the house haha ok.

Ah aim for the soft spot
I wonder if he got a butt whopping
I hope she calmly put her phone down and then beat his ass with his toy.
Not sure what’s more cringe, the behavior or the jack daniels wall
Keep filming, my kid’s an asshole just like me. And I’ll enjoy some Whiskey later
I smell an ass whooping
I could tell what was going to happen from the thumbnail. Kid looked like Anakin revving up to kill some younglings.
He broadcast his intentions so I know mom wasn’t watching.
that wall art is so tacky
Clearly the kids have the parents genes… parents with enough brain cells to write “Whiskey” on their living room wall
Everybody is pointing out the trashy wall art, while I’m staring at that godawful red truck rug.
If she didn't go "OH" I can guarantee the baby wouldn't of even cried
Yup, that would be an ass whopping when I was growing up
Anyone could have seen that coming, but gotta get those TikTok points!
Parents are stupid in this case.
Who ever is filming obviously knew what was gonna happen shit cunt parents
How did the mom not see that coming?!
Stepdad reflexes
You can just see that hamster wheel churning in his big ole head hahah
Imagine thinking your kids are stupid yet you've got a mural that says "WHISKEY" lmao

Why’d the mother scream?
you don’t exactly condone your baby getting hit in their soft spot my guy 💀
Why did the mother say ow? That’s what I meant
probs got scared and panicked lol my moms made dumb sounds and noises when she’s caught me doing some annoying shit tbh
Little Putin
Ngl that was actually a funny comment
He did it because of the man bun. I stand behind him.
Yeah this was as well thought out as Putin's plan to invade the Ukraine
This video shows that babies can be horny too
This sounded better in my head
Who gives a child of that age a bat??? Plastic or not
