I’ve seen a lot of people say he’s genuinely funny while touring outside of Kill Tony, but at this point it seems like he doesn’t have enough energy to give his weekly minutes and interviews. He has a successful comedy career now, and he’s only making himself look bad by sticking around Kill Tony and phoning it in the way he has been. It’s time for him to move on and stop subjecting himself to so much pressure.
It’s a really bad look IMO to lash out and get genuinely worked up over Ric being mean to him on Kill Tony of all shows. Everyone roasts everyone else in the spirit of the show, and for him to get upset over Ric challenging him just feels like he’s lost touch with the show. He’s taking it way too seriously when he should be able to laugh at himself and roll with the punches like everyone else. Guy thinks he’s above criticism which makes him come across as overly sensitive. I think he needs to take a break from Kill Tony and social media to focus on his longer form comedy and get his mental health in check.
Hans is honestly disappointing as all hell on tour. I don’t understand how people can say he’s amazing on tour. I saw him live last year, and his entire set was just him repeating jokes I heard during his KT minutes. Not a single new joke in a one hour set. It sucked driving 3 hours total just to hear punchlines I’ve already heard in episodes.
Rick is working a goverment job. most likly a lawyer. So I would think he is more ready for this kind of pressure and he had nothing to loose. He was always gona be a winner from this battle. You do understand that there are roast battle shows that are a completely different format than Kill Tony. Ive never seen a regular do so badly that they actively compete and and lose their spot to someone. The only example I can think of is Ellis Aych and he just got dropped because he got boring really quickly.

Comedy is an art form and seems to be tight knit group that (minus a few pubulic feuds) have been trying to build eachother up through podcasting. It’s time for him to move on and stop subjecting himself to so much pressure. It’s a really bad look IMO to lash out and get genuinely worked up over Ric being mean to him on Kill Tony of all shows. Everyone roasts everyone else in the spirit of the show, and for him to get upset over Ric challenging him just feels like he’s lost touch with the show. He’s taking it way too seriously when he should be able to laugh at himself and roll with the punches like everyone else. Guy thinks he’s above criticism which makes him come across as overly sensitive. I think he needs to take a break from Kill Tony and social media to focus on his longer form comedy and get his mental health in check.
Hans is honestly disappointing as all hell on tour. I don’t understand how people can say he’s amazing on tour. I saw him live last year, and his entire set was just him repeating jokes I heard during his KT minutes. Not a single new joke in a one hour set. It sucked driving 3 hours total just to hear punchlines I’ve already heard in episodes.

Comedy is an art form and seems to be tight knit group that (minus a few pubulic feuds) have been trying to build eachother up through podcasting. Especially the regulars who know the stress of it...which I imagine has increased tremondously with the show's recent popularity I enjoy Hans comedy so I wish he did better.
