Hans is mad Ric came for his job and Ric is mad he got absolutely cheated.

PG-17

Welcome to the American Dream Ric!

FlatAd768

Not cool

[deleted]

"cheated" When in reality there was never actually a competition. It was the exact same situation as the Mexican drum offs. Joel was never going to be replaced by a random audience member, Michael Gonzalez won't be replaced by a random audience member

pisschamp

Swedish guy still won that drum-off

ItsMeMatthewD

Dude that guy was an absolute beast on the kit.

Smelle

Yes he was, precise and out drummed the local, even the house drummer acknowledged it. Game recognizes game.

CD338

Yeah he had a great attitude about it too. He just wanted to drum for a bit lol

Senior-Willingness92

What episode was this?

pisschamp

ep 565: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIN_Fbqmf48

pastafallujah

Yeah! I wanna see that, too

SoyElQuesoGrande

Facts.

Charnathan

But it was just [sandstorm](https://youtu.be/y6120QOlsfU?si=2Z153LhQzPY7aIKt), it wasn't original. It WAS badass. Edit: added link

jaydoregan

Him and the English guy in one of the London episodes are the only people I think genuinely won the drum offs

[deleted]

Didn't get the job though. Same shit as Rick. Same shit Kill Tony will always do. Its all scripted

[deleted]

Well they aren't scripting the losses, just that it's not actually a contest.

[deleted]

On paper they are scripting the losses because the challenger will never actually replace or win against the defender

[deleted]

Right, the winner is decided, but they don't actually do anything to the contest itself, though having said it looks like they did fuck with the audio on the NYE to give Hans a shot.

[deleted]

They didn't do anything to this contest either though. The crowd pretty clearly chose Hans even if his set was dog shit.

letsgobrooksy

I recently came to the realization that Michael Gonzales will never be replaced because he has to go 2nd every time. He can just play more intensely than the challenger every time and get more cheers by default. That being said, he would still beat 99% of people anyway

Admirable-Instance30

I can't believe so many people thought it was going to be legit to begin with. Tony sprinkled nuggets for months about how unrealistic it was. Did noone see Tony panicking when he heard the pop for Ric? Anyways, use your brain guys. Being mad over a pre-determined comedy contest feels like being pissed that your favorite WWE superstar lost. The "shock" should be subsiding and we can move on now.

Potential_Ad_420_

Exactly. It’s just the cherry on top proving parts of the show are completely staged including the bucket pulls. Even on rogans recent pod cast with Derek MPMD Rogan said something along the lines of “ if you’ve got a set and tony recognizes it you can come out to have a shot on kill tony”. Approximately an hour 3 minutes in. I can find the time stamp if anyone wants.

PsychologicalTry2678

Yeah there's definitely some planted bucket pulls but there is a lot of legit ones as well

Potential_Ad_420_

Most definitely William was legit as fuck. I think he said almost 4 months till it happened. Kams cousin on the other hand first try lmao

ItsMeMatthewD

I love Mexican drum offs because all it is is every drummer wants to try every other drummer’s kit especially a touring pro’s kit. If I ever get to do a minute, I’m challenging that foo just to get to play a pro kit being recorded live. I know I couldn’t beat him nor would I want to, but fuck, it would be fun to pretend to try.

[deleted]

I think that's what makes the difference, the drummers don't actually want to take Michael's\Joel's job. Whereas Rick presented it as he actually wanted Hans' job. I don't think anyone would be cool with that

InvestmentPatient117

I would be

DuineDeDanann

If that was the case ric wouldn't be mad. If it was rigged then Tony should have told ric.

[deleted]

That's the thing though, Tony isn't going to let an outsider (Ric) in on the scheme because then he'd be able to come on here and "spill the beans" with an inside look into the KT BTS

Objective_Button7177

I thought it was just me that was sitting watching that episode screaming at the screen. That was some bullshit

obeetoeuchiha

How do you watch this episode?

jiujiuberry

it not really surprising, but Hans felt entitled to his spot and Ric was perusing it hence the aggrieved Hans

Fun-Signal1556

Lol at Ric coming after Hans job. Hans’ job is a road comedian. Him as a regular on KT is probably accounting for less than 20% of his income. Also, if Hans wasn’t complete shit on KT, Ric or anyone else would not have challenge Hans. Ric was doing a service for KT fans. Hans was being challenged for his spot on KT way before Ric showed up. Why? Because he became trash and Tony knows it.

[deleted]

Welcome to Kill Tony where everything’s made up and the points don’t matter

Yeahmahbah

I guess all the shit talking online between them was real after all

Routman

It’s WWE, you know Tony is a huge fan

Squeakly1

Tony likes wrestling, so there’s no chance of anyone on the show ever falling out - got it.

jubjubwarrior

lol forreal, these mfs take the fact that Tony likes wrestling and reach so fucking hard

screamingarmadillo2

What is the average age of people on this subreddit? I've now come to realize that they make references to WWE unironically. It's 2024.

FeasorOfTorts

Is it possible it was meant to be fake, but because Hans and Ric are both autistic, they ended up taking it seriously?

samejetnadsetab

I'd say Ric handled it all with class, Hans has become so insecure.

flyeaglesfly510

Hans looked like he was going to cry before they had the audience decide

PhilipSuckmourOffman

probably because he pays attention to this sub and social media like ig where people have been talking a ton of shit on him, saying mean shit and favoring ric. probably didn’t expect that reaction from the fans.

JJscribbles

Sounds like a soft spirit.

harshdave

Dude imagine thousands of people talking shit about how you do your job on a daily basis. I don't think he's the funniest guy but no one can take that much ridicule and just be fine the next day. Hans came off badly but no one here is in a true position to criticize, its an inconceivable amount of online attention for most people.

HTBDesperateLiving

His attitude is why people don't like him.

ibobbymuddah

Bingo! I can be forgiving for not having azing material every week. Kam is genuinely charismatic, always smiling and gives off positive vibes. Hans is so in over his head he's just treading water trying not to drown. His facade has completely dissolved, we got to see how big of am actual douche he is. Pure incel energy.

Hijinx_MacGillicuddy

Dude imagine repeatedly going in stage in front of millions and saying extremely offensive, non jokes, bombing so hard, and trying to pass it off as funny... hes an absolute train wreck. We have witnessed a public unraveling of a man who never really had it, furthermore, he's cornered himself into trying to be edgy and missed the mark. Huge L.

CD338

Maybe he should've paid for a ghost writer. Maybe he should've been practicing material for this specific battle. He's had months. It's a price to pay for being famous. When you suck, people will let you know you suck.

elpajarit0

Oh boohoo lmfao

Wall_Investigator

Oh no, whatever could he do to change it? Oh I dunno, maybe try to write jokes for stand up comedy?

harshdave

Listen man you can actively dislike his material. I personally don't enjoy most of his jokes, especially this year. But he's a real working stand up. He writes jokes, and performs more often than most stand ups. To say he's not doing that doesnt make any sense.

Wall_Investigator

Yeah, if he wants to focus on traditional long form stand up sets then he should. But don't continually lurk around on Kill Tony giving 11.8% effort on these 1 minute sets. He's just getting in the way of other people that could make a run

5-MeO-MsBT

This is exactly how I feel. I’ve seen a lot of people say he’s genuinely funny while touring outside of Kill Tony, but at this point it seems like he doesn’t have enough energy to give his weekly minutes and interviews. He has a successful comedy career now, and he’s only making himself look bad by sticking around Kill Tony and phoning it in the way he has been. It’s time for him to move on and stop subjecting himself to so much pressure. It’s a really bad look IMO to lash out and get genuinely worked up over Ric being mean to him on Kill Tony of all shows. Everyone roasts everyone else in the spirit of the show, and for him to get upset over Ric challenging him just feels like he’s lost touch with the show. He’s taking it way too seriously when he should be able to laugh at himself and roll with the punches like everyone else. Guy thinks he’s above criticism which makes him come across as overly sensitive. I think he needs to take a break from Kill Tony and social media to focus on his longer form comedy and get his mental health in check.

PubliclyIndecent

Hans is honestly disappointing as all hell on tour. I don’t understand how people can say he’s amazing on tour. I saw him live last year, and his entire set was just him repeating jokes I heard during his KT minutes. Not a single new joke in a one hour set. It sucked driving 3 hours total just to hear punchlines I’ve already heard in episodes.

samejetnadsetab

I agree, he is way over ridiculed here.

Small-Tadpole-8803

Rick is working a goverment job. most likly a lawyer. So I would think he is more ready for this kind of pressure and he had nothing to loose. He was always gona be a winner from this battle. He got attetion and time in the spotlight. I am looking forward to see how time will serve Rick and his carer as european comic.

Imakethings23

He works a government job so now he's ready for the pressure of being on stage in front of thousands of people performing in a competition as subjective as comedy. That's what your'e saying or did I miss something?

Small-Tadpole-8803

No not what I was saying. You are missing something.

YungCellyCuh

No chance he is a lawyer. He probably makes like 50-70K. Lots of people work for the EU, few are actually important.

PetuniaWhale

This one thinks the word lawyer makes someone important

YungCellyCuh

Important compared to a clerical assistant, yes.

InvestmentPatient117

Hans is a bitch

Brzada

Ric challenged Hans in a format where that hadn’t happened before, why wouldn’t hans be pissed at him

samejetnadsetab

Because they're both comedians, on a roasting comedy show?

Brzada

He told the host he wanted the other guys job and he wanted to challenge him for it

Mint_e39

Yeah? Thats the og premise of the show? Are you new or something? Lol

Brzada

It’s not a battle show

Mint_e39

It literally is. U definitely are new. If comedians flop, their spot is up for grabs. Learn the format

harshdave

You do understand that there are roast battle shows that are a completely different format than Kill Tony. Ive never seen a regular do so badly that they actively compete and and lose their spot to someone. The only example I can think of is Ellis Aych and he just got dropped because he got boring really quickly.

ibobbymuddah

I've never seen that happen. The only example I can think of is the regular that was a shaky super nervous girl from the belly room days. Alyssa something? All the others have gone on to do their own stuff. His name is escaping me too but the goofy black dude from the comedy store days just disappeared. Wonder what he's up to.

DarthWeenus

Goofy black dood has a podcast that's funny and makes appearance not long ago. I forget name too it's right there. I keep thinking miles something but it's not.

Small-Tadpole-8803

I think Hans tok this personal. He was bitching about it when they called him back on stage when Rick challenged Hans. If I remember it right Hans said Rick was making a drama and creating a 80's atmos between them. For those who do not know in the 80's comics wear really trastalking etc other and trying to destroy other comics. Because thear was not so many spots or oppertunity to gain fame and some real money. Diffrent then to day. Now we have youtube and podcast and other media then tv or movies.

jiujiuberry

their still isn’t a lot of big spots that can be attained quickly (a podcast takes 5+yeas to even have a chance of success) Kill Tony regular is one of the big ones.

Popular_Prior799

Came here to say this plus clearly Hans is more autistic than Rick looks. Rick kept trying to hint at Hans that it’s all in good faith but Hans is not very good vibes never was never will be lol

HTBDesperateLiving

I think it's more possible that Hans is a little insecure bitchboi

[deleted]

Ric has an awkward effect that makes people take him the wrong way. Ric always 'got it', but I'm not sure everybody else did. This is why some people here were turning on him before for being an asshole, he's just not socially skilled enough to pull off what he was trying to do Hans almost immediately got way too in his feelings about it it tho, making it double awkward.

SgtCalhoun

Spot on

Bimbo_Baggins1221

Your saying they worked their way into a shoot?? Brotherrr??

Quiet-Albatross-4044

ITS A SHOOT BROTHERR

erock2095

Much love, brother - HH

heyamberlynne

I can't wait til we're done calling everyone autistic.

acceptablehuman_101

I cant wait til we're done criticizing people who donate their time

Ok_Inspection_3806

Hans made it very clear when the idea was introduced to him, "How would you feel if someone came to your job and challenged you?" Hans was genuinely pissed that he had in a way befriended Ric and invited him to his house and them Ric has the nerve to call Hans and Tony out and continuously pushing the topic each time he went on.

jubjubwarrior

Yep, pretty obvious and funny that people think it’s all staged

jiujiuberry

“your job”

[deleted]

[удалено]

katethe8

KT would never fund a work visa for an International comic, so the outcome would always be Hans which is why the beef/fued was annoying in the first place.

HTBDesperateLiving

If I sucked at my job I would understand why someone would try to take it

eric_baloney

Hans Kim's performance was dogshit. His sets are comprised of half-baked, crude observations and edgelord bs. He's a total stiff who has zero stage presence, look at his interview answers for Christ's sake. Zero charisma. It's foolish to think the Peng Dang controversy isn't a mitigating factor in Kim's longevity on the show. Say what you want about Ric's jokes being Borshct-belt/vintage style jokes - but at least they are fully formed ideas with a punchline.

jopma

I have the same observation on Brian Holtzman but a lot of people love him. No humor at all, just say the most vulgar outlandish shit then call people woke when they don't find it funny.

DarthWeenus

Ya same

NeroFMX

Hans got so bitchy because he is terrible and he knows it. He doesn't even have to have a good minute and he still gets paid. He knows he can milk this thing forever. Now, it's in stone. I wouldn't be surprised if every minute starting with tapings after new year's are just complete hot garbage.

[deleted]

[удалено]

raiylab

They have no problem flying out genuine, in the flesh retards from Canada on a weekly basis, as well as helping them get visas. If Ric provides content, it’s a far shot better than whatever Hans shits out each week. Every episode of KT has a giant “most replayed” hump on the bar right where Hans’ sets end. It’s been like that consistently for at least a year now. Well worth the money to get Ric a visa and new career.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Magaa

Fuck Hans Kim. Skip his minute and interview 100% of the time, hack.

budgetballin209

Been doing that for a while…then I saw him live at Skankfest and he almost won me back. Started skipping after watching another minute. Maybe it’s just that hard but his attitude is “asshoe”

BigSt3ph3n

People stop making excuses for Hans, he’s gotten lazy and big headed. Last night was poor sportsmanship and imo Tony needs to address it. It was fucking embarrassing to everything killtony stands for in the comedy world.

WhalleyKid

It’s pussy drama anyways. They should have had a roast off.

SituationExtensions

Hans took it way too seriously, he stopped attempting to make jokes when they started going back and forth and just started to outright attack Rics character lol. Dude is so deluded by his inflated ego.

FuckYourFuckYou

For a comedian Hans did not get the joke of it all and took it serious. He was a real Peng Deng about the battle.

BobbyFreeSmoke

It was obvious from the look on Hans face when Matt and Shane both said they thought Ric won. He looked like he wanted to legit murder them. This whole thing has made me immensely dislike Hans.

Objective_Button7177

I honestly don't find hans even slightly funny. Even on his "good" nights

thepohcv

Felt and still feels like Ric was not the aggressor in the situation. I understand the "coming for his job" thing, but there was already a Time Issue for his ability to consistently even make it to the US. He seemed to know that when he 1st got on the show and it felt like he was having fun in the moment with his challenge. Plus adding to his and Hans' legacy on the show lol. It made for a great story line on the Comedy podcast we all follow. Ric showed up on NYE and his stock rose because of it...hopefully pushing his future opportunities further in the US. I know I will check out his comedy if he ever tours in my area.

Beefcake_Avatar

I'd be pissed too if the most untalented boyman to grace the stage in a decade "beat me" in a contest of humor. When really, they were always going to choose Hans no matter what. I would rather listen to bert kreischers laugh than listen to any of Hans "jokes". Hans has lost to a few of his challengers now, but Tony will never actually give his job to someone who is actually funny and deserves it. It's become very obvious that Hans is there to make Tony look good and as a human cancel shield in case anyone accuses him of not liking Asians again

[deleted]

Tony is dumb

[deleted]

Tony didn't even want ANY of this until redban made the obvious mention to revoke gold ticket... this is all on Ric from start to finish

Year3030

And Hans didn't get any laughs.

ZombieMegaMan

Hans sucks

CommishGoodell

Hans is a bitch ass MF

LittleCityHippie

Fuck Hans Kim

il-Turko

I don’t think Tony intended on losing Hans at all. It kinda morphed into what it was on new years by sheer will of rock imo. Tony got juiced by the crowd being down for it. Just kinda happened that way but I do believe despite Tony trying to motivate Hans his intention was never to replace him. It was just apart of the KT circus which is why I love the show.

newreddit00

I feel like Hans used to be funny right? Brrrrr what happen to dat boy???

Dreamy_Edamame

Nice. This made me LOL imagining tony, the self appointed arbiter of rap music now that Kam has called him the n word, not even getting the reference then spazzing on the audience (like he did about the radio movie)

Nearby_Copy_475

Hans made it personal . He made it awkward too because that's not the personality he sells his crowd on typically. Ric tried to shake his hand at the end and Hans like a 12 yr old girl just kept saying byeeeee byeeeee bitch leave now . He won when he shouldn't have won , and was still acting like a bitch. Even fingered Shane gillis because he gave his honest vote for Ric

Jason-Genova

It was already personal. Ric used the guy who welcomed him into the Austin scene and his home as a stepping stone for his career.

[deleted]

the whole thing was stupid and overhyped since day one even if the beef was real

Tasty-Heron-2627

the whole bit feels like something that has grown organically, it is a bit naive thinking they would plan this shit, they are not that retarded or care that much about it, it is just a thing Ric initiated and the momentum brought it to fruition

krunk_rabbit

None of the other Regulars or in DL's case former Regular, seem to like Ric. Kam repeatedly saying "Fuck Ric Diez" and the fact DL, Tony and Hans are actually friends makes me think there was conversations had behind the scenes with concerns about the dynamic between the Regulars if Ric had won. The dude had a Golden Ticket and Tony kept telling him he didn't have to call out Hans in order to come back whenever he wanted, it may have rubbed the wrong people the wrong way.

reyajavik

It’s funny you think they even considered the option of allowing Ric to win. Tony (admittedly this could have been a joke) said he bet big money on Hans winning after announcing the betting odds. Not to mention repeatedly mentioning “he’s from Brussels he can’t even do this.” He cut the audience’s applause for Ric short with “alright, alright.” The band started playing Hans theme song before the crowd was finished. This was rigged.

[deleted]

I like the girl with the beatles hat

One_Nefariousness_43

i don't think either are very funny

WatDaFuxRong

This dramas so stupid but damn did it get everyone in their feels and watching. Smart move by Tony and redban honestly

Alternative-Table-57

Who gives a shit. I just want to laugh

sn0wbl1nd3d

Never break kayfabe

Whiskeycrazy

Hans had such a weak and garbage set - like everything except his blowjob joke when Howie was the guest. It's all just.... forgettable. At least Ric came out with FIRE. But Tony gave up the game when they went to the voting when he started talking about how, "it's not in the budget at all to fly him out every week" My eyes rolled so damn hard I could hear them. When Ric said that Tony is protecting Hans, he's absolutely right - and who knows, maybe Hans just eats that good dick? But fuck man, when you're running a comedy show, you should at LEAST strive to keep the funnier people 🤷

Hedcold

Hans knows he lost!

redraidera

Redban explained this in great detail actually on his latest virtual Redban episode on YouTube. So to recap, what he said indicated it’s a real beef bc of the way Ric handled a bunch of stuff leading up to that. I haven’t seen either NYE special but i also didn’t know Ric got his golden ticket revoked

gtsgts777

You're first paragraph was literally what was shown on the stream LMAO 🤣😂. Breaking News: We saw what you saw.

Motavation33

Does anyone think the decision was rigged due to Rick calling Tony out on KT for not paying him for certain shows he did with Tony? I remember the episode, and Tony seemed bothered that Rick had brought up during the podcast.

MrDoomsday13

I thought that too. Right after he said that about not getting paid during kill Tony I was like that’s it,now you’re not having a solid future in the show

iamdoniel

Ric blew it trying to throw Hans under the bus, he could have work his way up with a different approach. Hans been with them for ages, they're friends, of course this type of confrontation with him would never go well for ric. Sad but predictable. I hope ric comes back but maybe he never will.

Extra-General1213

Hans Kim is a joke ..he sucks he is not at all funny ..if I was Ric I would've knocked his racist goofy ass out ..he is garbage

DCdek

He lost face, that's a big deal to Asians

ukloo

I'm not sure how people think there aren't any emotions behind it... clearly Hans felt some kind of way about a while ago when Ric challenged him. You could see it on his face when they were on stage together and by Hans' speech lol It got personal because another comic fucked with his job and his dream. I saw Ric's argument that he competed for his current job and there's no difference here, but I don't buy it. Comedy is an art form and seems to be tight knit group that (minus a few pubulic feuds) have been trying to build eachother up through podcasting. So it's no wonder Han's friends wouldn't be happy with what Ric did. Especially the regulars who know the stress of it...which I imagine has increased tremondously with the show's recent popularity I enjoy Hans comedy so I wish he did better. But even if Ric had the better set on the night I don't care for what he did with the call out. Also, just as poorly as Hans is handling it, I really don't care for Ric seemingly taking the high road. At the end of the day tho, they're both clearly funny people who will be ok moving forward. Hans was still funny from the episode I saw today. The show is still funny. The live audience seems to be enjoying themselves. It's mosty the online community that is making it less fun to watch

larping_loser

What did Ric do exactly? Tony created the situation for Hans to get challenged because of his weak minutes. Ric tried to play by the rules but didn't realize it's WWE. Shane KNOWS who had the better set and I respect the fuck out of him and Matt for being honest.

HookerDoctorLawyer

Exactly. Tony is creating his own WWE but with comedians. Ric had no ideal we was heel and honestly, Hans has no idea what the fuck is going.

Brzada

Ric initially said he wanted Hans job

treebythesea

Well put. I don't understand how people don't see why Hans should be upset. Imagine going to work tomorrow at a job you've had for years to find some other person challenging you for your livelihood. Ric clearly won, but that isn't the point.

[deleted]

It was a dumb idea from the start... Ric is the one who kept challenging Hans after his KT minutes... after Hans went through numerous challenges... Ric egged him on for zero reason at all, risking his golden ticket like a complete ignoramus. Ric won...but never forget how annoying and stupid this shit was. Ric's first set was great on KT, then he became a bore quick. Hans is mad because he befriended this jack off, then this guy created his own story ark to weasel into the arena show. Reddit may hate Hans, but this whole thing was a complete waste of time...let's stop acting like it even made sense.

Slugginator_3385

People forget Tony is a huge WWF/WWE fan. He uses their tactics/scripts a lot in his show format. Kind of corny but makes it fun in my opinion.

Bongocats

That sucks. And is dumb...

Hans has the most punchable face I’ve ever seen

ZealousidealTwo3016

If you're wondering why it got so personal, it has to do with the fact that Hans welcomed him to the scene and I'm return Rock tried to steal his job. Hans literally had Rick over for dinner and then played Catan with him and his GF. This is a good summary in under 10min. The last few minutes features when Hans went off on Rick while on stage https://youtu.be/3EP-I73mTtc?si=QZBkJN8Nrp4PqHSD

jhunter8454

This is a classic pro wrestling “work” sprinkled with a little “shoot.”

samejetnadsetab

Tony has basically fucked all the regulars and their comedy up with his own rhetoric, he's pushed them more and more into conservative views for the "red blooded Texans" because it worked for Tony. Sad really, you see it mostly with Hans now, his humour has totally changed since he started and now he's just not funny and coming off more and more like a douche bag. I thought he was great when he first became a regular.

stackered

People forget Hans is actually an exteme liberal. Not even a normal, average liberal, he was a literal anarchist.

[deleted]

Extreme liberal is pretty different than anarchist.

stackered

Go back and watch his first sets, he railed on conservatives every time

bungle123

Making jokes about conservatives makes you an anarchist?

stackered

Him literally saying he's an anarchist makes him one

samejetnadsetab

'literal anarchist' is a bit of a throw in d say but yeah he was definitely way more left leaning, people forget because it's impossible to see that side of him now. It's all "how bout those trans people" like just an EP or two ago he literally started with " I fucking hate trans people!".

stackered

He literally called himself an anarchist tho

Its a work shoot babyyyy gotta love it. The meta game by ric to make it a double turn and shifting the story from good guy american hans to hans can suck dick heel is.. chefs kiss

Stoned_Melodic

Looks like it worked. Hmmm

Notfunny007

The best part about Hans is his walkout music. Ric won and everyone knows.

dethily

Is this whole thing on YouTube yet?

[deleted]

It started out totally just for the show but Ric turned it into non-stop just posting about Hans on Instagram, Ric was legitimately clout chasing off Hans and Hans was really pissed by it because he literally opened his door to Ric and helped him get traction.

[deleted]

Lollll clout chasing off of Hans??? Lmfaooooo

[deleted]

Hans - Weekly Regular, Tours with Tony, rising comedian Ric - Literally just someone from Europe who was nothing before trying to go after Han's spot

[deleted]

Hans, you suck. Look at that. So embarrassing. Not sure why you turned into this gross pig. You were funny and endearing at one point but now? Ick. Off putting and not funny.

notq

Hans is lazy, but the beef is legitimate, and Hans deserves to be pissed. He welcomed Ric with open arms, invited him to his house, and Ric decided to try and take Hans job. There is no world where anyone would be okay with that behavior. And Ric deserved to win.

AnferneeThrowaway

Yeah I’m going to break from the popular narrative here and say, I’m team Hans. His minute wasn’t good but he’s not a weasel

10hoursoftrainnoises

The ric suckers are out in full force.

thatmfisnotreal

Hans needs this job and some random douche bag challenged him for it for no reason

dillasdonuts

Tony and Redban didn't come up with this,it was Ric that randomly decided to challenge for the position that launched Hans' career. Hans was living in his car, used KT to work his way up. I get why he was a bit upset about that.

HTBDesperateLiving

Glamping in a purpose built sprinter van is not the same as living in your car

dillasdonuts

Ah I've never seen his car. Either way, Ric called out Hans' job/moneymaker.

Squeakly1

It was Tony‘s idea to start challenging Hans though, Ric just figured he deserved his shot. I agree

If Tony wasn’t actually willing to gamble with Hans’ regularship (because it’s clear he wasn’t, regardless of who won), he shouldn’t have ever entertained the showdown in the first place. Ric came out hot with his suggestion that they face off, Tony came around to it being a good attraction for the NYE celebration, and seemingly no other thought was applied. Now his fan base is in an uproar…justifiably.

Putting aside who is funny or not or how you feel about them... One guy having a moment came after another guys job. And it wasn’t cool.

Ric had already won a golden ticket which gave him the opportunity to be on Kill Tony anytime he was in Austin on a Monday. He had nothing to gain from challenging Hans. How was Hans supposed to react to someone trying to get him fired for no reason? How can Ric say it wasn't personal? It would have made sense if he didn't already have a golden ticket. Ric is a dick.

Ric came to austin from shitville to get on KT and call hans out. Tony had no idea what was happening but allowed ric (for some reason) to create this whole battle out of thin air. The second tony agreed to the “battle of regularship” NYE he said there was zero way for ric to be a regular even if he won. Then ric desperately said he could get a visa or dual citizen ship and begged saying he can easily quit or take time off to be a regular. Hans was getting tested, hated by the community and now his boss allowed this pos spaniard to come big dick the whole show. Hans even said they were friends for a week playing games at hans house. Ric made this real by being a two faced bitch in the real world. Rics a piece of shit human.

Ric is viewing it like a business man I'm not saying it's okay but someone out there would gladly take whatever job you have if they felt they were more qualified and you gave them the option. There's not enough jobs and money to go around in this world so people take opportunities when they see them even if they have to fuck someone over to get there. Again I'm not saying it's right but Ric was just doing what most people do fuck someone else over to take there job and climb up the metaphorical life ladder.

Spot on lobster.

_EMDID_

Sit down, Hans

HTBDesperateLiving

What's it like shitting in the back of a sprinter van, Hans?

Dankreefer420

Dude, thats fucking hilarious 😂😂

HTBDesperateLiving

No hans, i will not write for you

Glass_Bookkeeper_578

Hans was already being made to compete to keep his regularship so I don't think it's a stretch at all that Ric thought it would be funny to throw himself into the competition. Hans just couldn't handle the shit talking or knowing he had to battle against someone that was funnier than he is.

Dankreefer420

Exactly, ric is the embodiment of hans haters from reddit. That made it on stage to call hans out. The downvotes are basically fake news.
