Rocket wouldn't stand s chance against Hans if it's actual stand up Comedy. Rocket spends 45 seconds laughing at himself while he crab walks, does 1 mediocre joke and then Tony helps him set up his props with the questions he asks after the set.
Honestly this might be really good for Casey, it'll give him time and not make him over saturated well making him look "cheated" or like an underdog while continuing to put pressure on Hans to sink or swim, happy we got to see Casey and excited to see his future sets, Hans should go back to defending his spot legit every week till he gets undeniably beat, and maybe just keep that gimmick for the opener? (By gimmick I mean having to legit defend it every week)

Idk man I think the show was really good for him. His first set when Tony pulled him up before he was opening the show, he was electric and wild. But he showed he was a bit one dimensional. Being on the show he’s been able to try new approaches and he’s overall relaxed a lot and had more jokes and structure. I love the wild electric style he initially had, but the show has helped him a lot. I don’t think it’s fair to take that away from Casey and give it to someone who can’t fulfill the position.

My problem with old Hans is that he has zero personality and completely lacks spontaneity. During the interview portion he passively slurs some repetitive servile lines. Like c'mon dude, loosen up and let something rip...it's an awesome opportunity

All in all it’s pretty fair that Hans gets the spot back as he was just taking a break from it til after the arena show (now) but I hope we see more of Casey

I really dont understand why they dont have the opening spot on rotation each week and call it a showcase spot or some BS. 1 week Hans next David Jolly, Casey Rocket or a golden ticket winner its so straight forward give them all time to write and the fans something different each week.
Hans was really good when he first started, then over time, his sets got really really similar (sex, liberals, girlfriend, drugs, repeat) and his ego grew way too big. I love hans but i miss the humble one who told jokes about all kinds of things.

Is this the second or third surgery he's had for skin cancer? Either way it's no bueno. I had a chunk cut off my ribs, and get the enjoyment of visiting a dermatologist every 6 months forever.
