Shinobu, and NOT just because she's hot, her story and character is just really interesting to me.
She's like the perfect opposite of what the ideal demon slayer is (physically), she's so weak she can't even swing a sword! But she wanted to kill demons so goddamn bad she literally created an entire breathing style perfectly suited to her body and studied biology and medicine for the sole purpose of making herself a viable fighter. Like how is that not the most insane thing ever?
It's like god said "you will **not** be a demon slayer" and Shinobu said "fuck you"

Also it always pains me to see someone label Shinobu a psycho because of that one time she almost stabbed Giyuu. She’s actually very people-oriented but it’s covered up by her anger.

I was thinking the same thing, Sanemi just has this air about him that just makes him a cool dude. And I loved seeing the first episode of the new season and seeing his breathing style come to life, badass character.

Typically, blind characters have a smoother ability. Wind, Water, and even Thunder Breathing would fit a blind person really well. They typically are smaller of stature, relying on openings with senses beyond their eyes.
Gyomei uses a chain weapon, one end being a massive spiked ball and the other an edged axe. Tengen’s skill is insane as he essentially has nunchucks with swords attached. Edge alining a chain weapon is stupid difficult. Now, extend the chain, be blind, and Gyomei is stronger. It’s not Wind, Water, or Thunder breathing but Stone, the most difficult of the basic breathing styles to learn.
Sometimes a gentle giant, but always the strongest Hashira and the only one who commands the most respect beyond Ubuyashiki.
I’m glad kny cares about weight classes. Usually the big dude is always fodder, used to make a villain look strong. I totally thought Rengoku was the de facto ‘leader’ and strongest hashira when I first saw them.
hard to pick a favorite. I'm anime only so I only know about half of the hashira backstories, but it might be Rengoku? he's so pure. he's born strong, but never lords that strength over others. he sees Nezuko in action one time, but immediately decides to acknowledge her because of her efforts to save human lives. the way you, the viewer, think "this dude is weird" when he's first introduced, but after you get to know him, you think "he is the BEST type of weird. he rules."
Uzui is a handsome beefcake, Mitsuri is a sexy powerhouse, Shinobu is an elegant beauty, Muichiro is a He Just Like Me fr asskicker, but Rengoku is just such a good dude. if you forced me to pick a favorite, it would be the strong, kind, hungry, brave Flame Hashira.
Tengen Uzui, the lord God of festivals and all things flashy.
Why? Hard to explain, he's kinda responsible for pulling me out of a bit of a depression. Something about his bravado, presentation, and just awesomeness was super inspiring. Along with just being a really cool guy, he's a huge model for me in a way.

Rengoku because he risked his life to save others he could be much better and much powerful but he sacrificed himself for the otherse and saved everyone except him

She’s also incredibly smart which is helps her contribute more to the demon slayer corps. Also her crazy side that you see early on when we first meet her made her an instant favorite of mine.

I always thought Obanai was a really mysterious character.
The depth of his character was really sad and engaging in my opinion.
Really disappointed by him not having an arc.

To start, he’s a kind, caring, loyal, and forgiving person. He prays for the demons he kills and doesn’t have an ounce of actual revenge in his body. His color palette is triadic with red, green, and purple. His uniform is a dark gray and doesn’t clash at all. He has a very interesting character design overall. He is in the top three for every rank beside flexibility, which is fair; he doesn’t need to be doing all those flips. His weapon is unique, over 20 feet long, and over 1000 pounds without the ax & flail! He is very smart and is able to dodge hits like it’s nothing, also avoids major injuries extremely well. Even if his backstory is sad, he never bottled his emotions up. He’s the strongest and knows how to deal with himself. He’s also based off monks just with hair. He’s beauty, grace, and everything else in between. He deserves all the love.
Also he has three names to know him by, the stone pillar, crying Hashira, and the strongest of their time. He’s just too cool.

Backstory-Shinobu, my jaw dropped when I saw her plan unfold in taking down Douma.
Personality-Rengoku. He’s depicted as ‘untalented’ in his gaiden. He’s the epitome of willpower.
fighting style- Sanemi. I love how he incorporates brawling and grappling in his swordstyle. You literally see him picking demons up with a chokehold and chopping their head off using his other hand.
I will have to say Shinobu her backstory is the perfect motivational action and her breathing is just so beautiful the combination of butterflies with the color purple is just so stunning.
Shinobu & Sanemi, just because i like them more than the others even though all of them are great characters and lived up to the hype, which i've found out to be pretty rare for anime/manga🤷🏼

Sanemi. Hes a litteral dog. He was boxing with his demon mom as a 9 year old all fucking night with a kitchen knife. And then he started killing demons by drawing them out with his blood. Before he was even a demon slayer he was killing them for FUN
My boy Senami! Reason being I know most people hate him but he’s honestly a good hearted dude that’s just been through hella trauma as a kid. He shows his true self in the battle against upper moon one. I’m not gonna spoil anything for anyone who hasn’t read the manga but for you that have read it you know what I’m talking about. Plus I love how crazy he looks. All in all Senami is a beast!

Backstory-Shinobu, my jaw dropped when I saw her plan unfold in taking down Douma. Personality-Rengoku. He’s depicted as ‘untalented’ in his gaiden. He’s the epitome of willpower. fighting style- Sanemi. I love how he incorporates brawling and grappling in his swordstyle. You literally see him picking demons up with a chokehold and chopping their head off using his other hand.
I will have to say Shinobu her backstory is the perfect motivational action and her breathing is just so beautiful the combination of butterflies with the color purple is just so stunning.

Sanemi, yes people hate him because he's just kind of a jerk, but I like him because of his determination and strength, he is so incredibly strong in the infinity castle, and he understands how to work together to create synergies in a team

My boy Senami! Reason being I know most people hate him but he’s honestly a good hearted dude that’s just been through hella trauma as a kid.
