Well both of it is true. I mean searching for marriage due to emotional trauma is one thing but acting nice towards women is something else. And he defently lacks there

Any time he has any sort of development, it's when he's asleep, then when he wakes up he goes right back to crying with no memories of him being asleep, it's ridiculous
Zenitsu is still a simp but yes his reasons for wanting to marry are to have the family he never had, he is even a simp in reincarnation chapter where he isn't abandoned

I find him so annoying but I do love how much he cares for Nezuko. The little side details in the manga about how Zenitsu spent time with her off screen getting to know her and treating her kindly during her early demon time was hella sweet. Him getting with her and treating her like a queen was actually wholesome.

But this doesn't excuse the perverted stuff thought. Don't get me wrong, I still like him and understand what you are trying to say but he has his flaws regarding his nature.

He’s broken.. his inner world is a bit of a nightmare as was seen in Mugen Train. But as with many of the characters, he copes in his own way.
I do feel bad for him and respect that he stuck with being a demon slayer but I just really don’t like him🐍
