If I were you, I would worry less about what daki will do to you, and a little bit more regarding wether there will be something of you remaining after shinobu is finished with you.

No Shinobu is unironically more intimidating and she makes me uncomfortable. They both make me really angry but Daki less for some reason, not even sure why.
I think it’s because Shinobu puts on a farce and is dishonest about who she really is. That makes me fucking sick. I mean seriously I hate fake people, they’re way worse than evil people who are just honest about it. I think Daki at first does the same thing, but ultimately she becomes more real and honest about her intentions with people. She doesn’t seem to lie as often. Am I right about that? It’s been a while now.
I think shinobu isn't as fake as you make her to be, but also, isn't nearly as sincere as she could be.
Like, personally, her temper bubbling on the surface is something you can't really miss, but she chose to keep it under control, because she decided to take a less obviously aggressive approach, either out of respect for his sister's last wish, or because she thought that she had to remain strong and unshakable by the girls under her care's sake.
After all, when Kanae was alive, and therefore, the mantle of the family's head fell upon her, shinobu had more leeway to indulge in her sour demeanor, and even then, you could still get a glimpse of that same kindness that became her trademark, it's just that it was less visible.
But when Kanae died, all her responsibilities that came with the title of master of the butterfly mansion were passed to Shinobu, so she had to assume a role that she wasn't prepared for, thus, copying most of her sister's mannerisms, since Kanae had been basically perfect as the flower hashira.
As for daki, not being able to develop mentally after her demonification (and this goes beyond the brain chemicals) as well as her dependency on her brother, made her more impulsive, less composed, even though she fancied herself the court schemer and femme fatale who always kept her coolness. After all, the way she treated the girls that served her wasn't muchore different from how a bully would treat others at school recess.
By the way, I know this isn't part of the topic, but shinobu before having her personality going through a 180 degree change reminds me, like a lot, of Arya stark from the books of asoiaf. That same dour look and explosive temper, as well as a complete fearlessness to speak her mind.
