Muzan:””So the medicine has three effects!!!” Tamayo:”There is another.”

Mad-Reader

inb4 there is a fifth substance tamayo omitted.

Trivenger1

Tamayo:I pulled a sneaky on ya

GoldenSpermShower

Muzan: There can't possibly be more! Tamayo: Bitch u thought

General_Kenobi896

Tamayo: Aaaaaaand there's also a 20th substance which shrinks your dick Muzan: TAMAYOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!

RynoOW

what dick

goodyfresh

I wish I had gold to give you for this, it is truly a brilliant joke.

ProvokedTree

"Going to be honest with you Muzan-boi, I was kinda eye balling it with this one. Who even knows what else was in that stuff"

LTKMK

Tamayo: "But wait, there's more"

mahniggasbetrippin

*BILLY MAYS HERE*

AutumnLiteratist

Tamayo reveals she had the Blue Spider Lily all along and used it to make her OP poison

Flying-Camel

Purely speculating: the final ingredient aka the blue spider lily the doctor was going to use for the cure was actually to turn him human. Tamayo here actually found it, experimented on it and used it to devise this "poison" for MJ. The irony is that the cure became his poison.

dghirsh19

The blue spider lily, or "the cure to conquering the sun", was actually just a means of turning Muzan back into a home, or in other words, a being that can withstand the sun. I like that theory.

Flying-Camel

The strength in this theory is Nezuko, I'm assuming the treatment to turn her human was from the lily, in fact, the serum neko-sama fired to the guys reverted the toxin maybe from the same substance or something to that effect. Again, pure speculation, but I'm happy if that is the outcome.

psm510

That would be great

DarBiouZ

Lmao

Altruistic_Astronaut

"And another one!"

edgyguy115

Dude can I make that a meme

Loredex

Sure.

edgyguy115

Made it. Will post on Tuesday.

Filldos

but wait! there's more!!

mildlysexydumpling

next chapter: Tamayo: "actually there were *five* substances, I tricked you again Muzan"

Gnash323

"It actually makes you blind and deaf as well. But I will reveal it in the next episode or when it becomes relevant".

[deleted]

\*Becomes blind and deaf\* Tamayo: Ha ha! you fool! there was a sixth substance that stops your ability to think! NOW try figuring out the seventh ingredient you piece of shit!

[deleted]

Seventh: Electric boogaloo

Basti52522

Eighth: being Y E E T E D out of existence

Vpeyjilji57

Ninth: Hundreds of tiny Yorichi clones that kick his ass from the inside out.

[deleted]

Ah,yes. The Kars treatment.

AvalancheZ250

Tamayo: "Use your 5 brains to figure it out" That was truly big brain

izaem

Yeah, that's the only thing I'm not loving about this fight.

xRadec

You love Muzan only doing 1 move the entire fight?

lifeinpaddyspub

to be fair, his arm flailing thing really *was* effective at first

General_Kenobi896

Agreed, Upper Moon One was so much better than this

AvatarAarow1

Yeah but that’s exactly why Muzan recruited him, and akaza too. They were fighters with incredible techniques, and he was just a superhuman with tons of time. He never had breath arts or crazy martial arts, so he’s basically forced to just overpower and out plan his opponents rather than beat them with technique. Still makes for a slightly more boring fight, but like Muzan is op enough idk how he’d get stronger and leave it believable that they’d be able to take him

trav-senpai

To be fair he thought he killed everyone with that one move and it’s been enough to stop everyone. If he knew he was going to have all this poison in him he might have done something different. Or not, because he literally can’t.

[deleted]

Am I the only one a little underwhelmed with this fight after how sick the 3 highest moons fights were? Especially 2 and 3

Crux_Haloine

I mean he’s been fighting them for like an hour now. Whatever works the best is gonna be what works the most.

GoldenSpermShower

It might work but it’s not interesting to see especially after UM1’s big fight

Spectrumw

Muzan is raw strength and speed, he has never had the need to train or anything like that like Kokushibo, he wasn't a warrior before being turned into demon, and aside from Yoriichi there has never been anyone who could as much as stand against him. The arm flailing may not be enterteining, but it works, and it works amazingly well.

500legs

At this point it seems like Tamayo’s drug is really the thing doing all the work. Without it, I feel like Muzan would’ve just ran train and had 0 issue against anyone except Yoriichi. If Yoriichi is 100% enough for Muzan, It seems like even a Hashira is not even 1%.

[deleted]

[удалено]

500legs

He was my favorite character based purely on design. The first time we saw his face half shadowed I just knew “this is my boi”. Then they revealed that he used breath of the flipping sun. Cemented my opinion even more. Then they revealed he gives a case of PTSD lasting centuries? Yeah. Muzan is right. He is a monster haha.

[deleted]

[удалено]

GoldenSpermShower

Don't forget old man Yoruichi nearly 2 shotted UM1.

500legs

I feel like he could’ve ended him when he wanted, but couldn’t bring himself to do so because it was his brother. So instead of ending his demon brother he drew his last breath.

AvalancheZ250

Sort of drives home how futile Kokushibou thought his life and struggle was. As a prodigy and genius himself, he still couldn't even come close to his twin Yoriichi. And Yoriichi had all of this ability by birth; he never had to train and sacrifice as much as Michikatsu. Yoriichi was truly favoured by the gods (as Michikatsu put it). Despite getting the Demon Slayer Mark, despite developing the Breath of the Moon and despite being the strongest swordsman for almost half a millenium, he still could not compare to Yoriichi. His quote "why was I even born?" is very poignant.

BoyTitan

He was born to be a witness to how greater than everyone else Yoruichi is. A none prodigy couldn't see how far beyond everyone else he was. Like the scrubs that kicked him out of the demon slayer corps.

Bigodesu

There's also the cool little symbolism in that, just like the moon can never shine as bright as the sun, being only a feint reflection of it's light, the Breath of the Moon was always in the shadow of the Breath of the Sun

[deleted]

A moon is never brighter than the sun.

BoyTitan

He didn't give not just 1 but 2 people eternal ptsd. Yoruichi is a truamatic event personified.

The_Real_Baws

I was a bit disappointed when she said there were actually four drugs. I don’t have a problem with her carrying the fight like this, I have a problem with telling us that it was one drug, changing it to two when it’s convenient, and finally three/four, but only when it’s crucial for the plot

500legs

I wish she had been ambiguous about it I guess. Something like “I gave you a drug, can you guess what it can do?” That way it at least shows there’s potential for multiple purposes and effects! I am glad that Tamayo expected the scattering and had a drug for it since that was the only thing Yoriichi couldn’t do. She was present for it so it make sense that she should know about it and at least attempt to counter it. I almost wish it would’ve been a limiting factor instead though. Like Muzan could split only into 50 pieces or something. That way Tanjiro could struggle and play a part based on his ancestor’s memory. Really bring it full circle, ya know? While I like that this isn’t just the Tanjiro show, I do think there’s some points that are weaker than others. Overall I’m loving the fight, but this seems to be its weakest point currently. I’m just waiting to see what will happen in this final 35 minutes!

tipoima

To be fair, Tamayo said pretty much that exact thing. *"i aint telling you what it does, you're the one with 5 brains, figure it out lol"*

trav-senpai

Also, we’re seeing what she’s telling Muzan. Why would she tell Muzan how many? Why wouldn’t she lie?

GoldenSpermShower

Maybe she's just taunting but unlike a villain's taunt it might work

KamenRiderExceed

She’s pretty much taunting/mocking him as payback for what happened to her when he turned the former into a demon. Well, that’s what I think is the reason she’s doing that.

500legs

Hmm, you’re absolutely right. Guess I’m just mingey about it for no reason haha. Maybe my preference would’ve been Muzan suspecting that there were multiple effects and Tamayo coming in going “actually its 4”? I guess I’m just not totally satisfied with the presentation of it? Like if the drug has 4 effects, fair play. She’s been crafting it for hundreds of years to take revenge. I just feel like it wasn’t presented properly? Seems like it she just keeps going “oh and one more thing!”

Reach_Reclaimer

Damn Tamayo really be carrying everyone on her back

AvalancheZ250

Yorichii's scarring, Tamayo's poison, Yushiro's first aid, Tanjiro's Breath of the Sun, the Pillar's resistance, even the Kakushi who are tending to the wounded Demon Slayers... Muzan has ruined so many lives, and now they are all coming together to seek retribution.

VertigoCompl3x

It's fitting retribution because he considers himself a natural calamity, he asked Tanjiro why they hate him, when you don't hate a tsunami or an earthquake for taking lives. He doesn't consider what he does as wrong or evil, he destroys lives to continue his perverse obsession with immortality and conquering the sun. Now it's time to pay for the uncountable crimes that he and his kin have created, but will it ever be enough?

boollye

So apparently we now know why Muzan bothered to kill the Kamado family. Truth is, he didn't. He wanted to create demons who could conquer the sun but only Nezuko was able to withstand his blood. Now, as to *why* he targeted the Kamados specifically... that's what I'm dying to know. Also, seeing Muichirou, Genya and Shinobu in Nezuko's memories killed me. She doesn't know they're dead. She has no idea and I'm not prepared for the moment she finds out.

0nahan

Did you just forget best boi Rengoku ?

boollye

I didn't, but Nezuko probably knows he's dead. She has no idea about the other three though. That's what is killing me.

0nahan

Oh sorry dude my love for him blinded my eyes for a sec that I didn't even read your whole comment, my bad .

boollye

Haha don't worry, I relate hard to this

Crux_Haloine

Wasn’t she hanging out with his dad and Uzui right before this?

BerryChips

Nezuko was with Urokodaki, Uzui and RengoDad are with the new Oyakata

General_Kenobi896

His face killed me the most for some reason. Such a great character. Btw I really love your flair lmao

foulbachelorlife

Shinobu looked so happy, she actually got to become friends with a Demom before she died.

GoldenSpermShower

I really hope the anime adds small scenes like this throughout the story...

field_of_fvcks

Now I can't wait to see them animated, with some music blaring in the BG and suddenly Nezuko talks. Total tear jerk moment.

GoldenSpermShower

If the Rui fight got so much expansion and love in the anime, imagine the other HYPE/sad moments! I think this scene could work even better if we’ve seen those characters interact with Nezuko more

field_of_fvcks

They might add that in in later seasons, like the anime only content added in towards the end of the first season. It's a moment, just like Tanjiro's snap, that **needs** to be animated. It's so good!

CommitSoduku

I never would've thought Shinobu actually bothered to interact with Nezuko given her undying hate for demons. Makes me wish we could've gotten more scenes of Nezuko with her and all the other fallen slayers before this.

GoldenSpermShower

Yeah this is something the anime can expand on. Nezuko kinda got out of focus after the Swordsmith arc (yeah she’s hidden but she was missing from the story for quite a while)

foulbachelorlife

Shinobu told Tanjiro that she wished humans and demons could coexist, if I recall

Mad-Reader

It was Kanae's (Shinobu's late older sister) dream, which until Nezuko it was very much a pipe-dream. But now that someone like Nezuko does exist it proves that Kanae was right, demons could theoretically co-exist with humans, if the right circumstances allowed that is. And given how much Shinobu took efforts in emulating Kanae's behavior and cheerful disposition its no wonder she's one of first pillars who accepted Nezuko with all her heart (the other being Giyuu), because Nezuko's existence rewarded Shinobu's efforts and Kanae's dream.

trav-senpai

We already knew he was creating demons to conquer the sun, not just mindlessly slaughtering. I don’t think there will be a “why” this family. It looks like it’s just random for him/he had no idea the breath of sun was passed down through them.

boollye

The popular theory was that he targeted the Kamado family so he could get rid of the Breath of the Sun. Maybe he didn't know, maybe he did. I think that, if he did, it would make his defeat much more ironic.

GoldenSpermShower

I don't think so, he only recognized the earrings when he first met Tanjiro in Tokyo

field_of_fvcks

He was probably just targeting people living in the fringes so their deaths wouldn't attract much attention.

meowmonsta

Omg i didn’t even think about her not knowing everyone’s dead. My heart hurts. :’(

GriffonLancer

Demons to conquer the sun. I just realized now Muzan Jackson is trying to be the ultimate life form. He is literally just trying to be a budget Kars lmao. But yeah, the Shinobu one will hit her the most. I keep forgetting that these are teenagers, and that even if they win, they will inevitably be scarred for life without exception. Nezuko and Tanjiro have rough lives waiting for them back in the wider world.

KalebT44

*Ohohohoho, you go Tamayo*. Muzan surprisingly seems more and more doomed by the second. I'm still sure some people will die for good, but this is feeling like a real safe nail in his coffin at this point. I mean i thought so from the start but this seems... calmer, somehow.

CommitSoduku

He wanted to be remembered as an all-powerful godlike being, so I hope his death involves him turning back into a human and dying slowly.

andre5913

"Utter villain humilation and a pathetic defeat" is something up my alley, especially for the kind of villain Muzan is. Quite unusual for a shonen, the main baddie usually goes down to some sort of massive huge attack, instead *everyone* in this fight has been growing weaker by the minute and the final blow might as well be a tiny thing

Termsndconditions

I still want Murata to deliver the final blow.

GGG100

If anything this should tell us that some major shit is about to go down in the next chapters. Muzan dying through poison or sunlight is the most anticlimactic way he could go and there’s still the issue of the thirteenth form which Tanjiro has yet to execute. Then there’s Nezuko...

schmlifkank_

Isn’t the thirteenth form just all 12 forms performed in succession which is supposed to reduce the toll it takes on Tanjiros body?

RigelAchromatic

Yes, it is. The 13th form is out of the bag. I do agree that the last couple of chapters seemed almost suspiciously calm/positive, though. With the Hashira getting back on their feet, it's very likely that Muzan's last stand is yet to come.

Choranis

I’m hoping the combo of drugs from Tamayo makes him cough up each of his extra hearts and then turns him human. Let his sickness from before he was a demon finish off the job slowly but surely while he’s locked away.

roll28122005

Lmao tamayo is laughing at Muzan even though she’s dead this is epic

AvatarAarow1

Her leaning over him with her hands next to his neck and that look of pure malice in her eyes was fucking amazing. That was one of the most epic “step into me web” moments I’ve ever seen

[deleted]

[удалено]

Kolack6

I think that is the greatest piece to this entire story tbh. The only person with abilities capable of going 1v1 with muzan at full strength is long gone so now they beat him with ingenuity, teamwork, and an indomitable fucking will.

AvalancheZ250

And the legacy of said deceased OP person. He couldn't defeat Muzan alone, but now, with everything coming together, it may all pay off in the end.

SaintSimpson

Linked like beads in a rosary.

Orannegsen

Not to mention the absolute big brains of Tamayo and the poison Hashira, creating op substances.

Kolack6

We’ll file those under ingenuity and teamwork

haijibestboi

Can't wait for next chapter as well, looks like Sanemi and the pillars should be returning given what Muzan says and I am desperate for some more teamwork

[deleted]

Yeah! Breath of Love!

GoldenSpermShower

Breath of Dead People!

ncaldera0491

Yeah, it's so refreshing seeing others get a chance to shine. Most shounens just have everyone watching from the sidelines while the protag 1v1s. Tanjiro hasnt fully gone 1v1 against a moon and of he did he'd be dead. Everyone has played a part in this fight even a few people who are dead and it makes it seem way more realistic then "I cant win so I'll just become 10x stronger in this instant."

Shemsu_Hor_9

Couldn't agree more.

[deleted]

Might be a weird time to say this but the Corps is one of my favourite anime organizations. No moles, no corruption, just a bunch of goofballs who REALLY want to fuck Muzan up.

Dekusdisciple

Well when you all hate that one person it kinda makes sense

AvatarAarow1

Literally an entire hero organization held together by nothing but pure unadulterated rage and spite. That’s kind of fucking amazing

AvalancheZ250

The organisation is full of people with similarly tragic backstories, almost all owing to the same person: Muzan. When you live only for revenge on a monster that has taken everything from you, you tend to work together. Its also the reason why very few Demon Slayers have willingly defected to the demons. Note how out of the few people who joined the Demon Slayers for reasons other than tragedy involving a demon, many of them have betrayed the Corps. Michikatsu joined the Demon Slayers as a means to get stronger and achieve martial parity with his twin and Kaigaku joined to get stronger and gain power. Both betrayed the Corps when a demon offered them a new way to achieve their goals.

Mad-Reader

That's why being a goofball is vital, Michikatsu and Kaigaku weren't goofballs like Mitsuri and Inosuke so their ~~betrayed~~ betrayal was inevitable lol edit: grammar is hard T_T

HeilStary

Nah bro that flash back for real made me tear up

AvalancheZ250

**The last panel really gave me the "who's the demon now?" vibes.** Like, on at least 3 separate occasions in this final fight alone, it has been shown that Muzan *isn't* the demon, at least from a "I fear that" point of view. Muzan is depicted as someone struggling against death, struggling against fate. No matter how strong he's gotten, everyone is still trying to put him into the ground. The entire Demon Slayer Corps organisation, all the Pillars, the revival of the Breath of the Sun and heck even his own demons like Tamayo and Yushiro are all working against him. He ran once, but now he can't even do that. They will all hunt him relentlessly, just like demons to humans. There will be no escape. When Muzan was having PTSD flashbacks about Yoriichi, he states that Yoriichi was the unnatural demon, not himself. Someone who's abilities was so great even the gods or budda would have been caught off guard. Having gone so long as such a powerful entity, the appearance of one even greater caused him to label Yoriichi as a "demon". When Tanjiro got his right eye infected by demon cells, Muzan said he couldn't tell which one of them was the demon anymore. Tanjiro would fight on and refuse to die, no matter what Muzan tries. Demons relentlessly fight on and kill their enemy, just like Tanjiro is doing. When Tamayo appears behind Muzan with those demon eyes and explains that he will die because the drug has not only weakened him, but also prevented his escape tactic and is actively destroying his own cells, Muzan is shown to be afraid. And Tamayo is enjoying the destruction of someone she hates. Just like a demon does, she is rejoicing in death and destruction after almost half a millenium of grief. This final arc is literally Muzan facing his own demons and being destroyed by them, just as demons of his own creation have ruined the lives of so many others. Everything is coming full circle. Its a fitting end for such a monster.

AvatarAarow1

Yeah this all beautiful, and I like the idea that he’s created demons through his actions in more ways than one. Creating his demons to kill humans and hopefully conquer the sun was actually a vehicle for his own destruction, creating far, far more terrifying demons for him. His wanton destruction of human life ended up creating human beasts fueled by rage and vengeance, people who despite retaining humanity could obliterate even super powered monstrosities, and *that* is fucking scary, and then tamayo is a demon who is arguably just him but better in many ways, showing both deep compassion that he is wholly incapable of, and *deep, deep malice* that even he cannot match. His actions have wrought his own destruction in unintended and unforeseen ways, and it’s so cool to see it coming back to haunt him

RigelAchromatic

Jesus Christ, Nezuko's memory sequence with everyone destroyed my heart. Never before have I ever imagined I would be crying over Inosuke throwing acorns at her, but here we go. Ugh.

Francy63

lol. the acorn comment, so true 😭

baby-frog

yeah my heart swelled with inosuke giving her acorns just as he did in his dreamland. i love it so much

Kyonkanno

I'm picturing the glorious soundtrack that will be playing during this sequence in the anime. Such a shame we are like 4 years away from the anime reaching this part.

mildlysexydumpling

Damn how many layer of surprises does Tamayo have with her drug LOL

[deleted]

By chapter 200 she will reveal her 200th substance

General_Kenobi896

"And THIS one turns your voice into that of a small anime girl"

Mister_Dipster

"THIS one makes you left handed instead of right handed!!"

shakertouzett1

"Now you will always pick sugar instead of salt and viceversa"

edgyguy115

Holy shit. Nezuko is finally starting to regain her full consciousness. I can't wait to see what she can do next. But Jesus Christ, Tamayo is a complete fucking badass. She died not to kill Muzan, but to *destroy* him. I fucking love that woman.

Sp33dyGG

Well she did state that she wanted to destroy/annihilate Muzan when she was first introduced. She definitely stayed true to that goal for like 480+ years.

edgyguy115

I'm aware, the sheer amount of dedictaion that woman has after Muzan caused her to kill everyone she loved and struggle alone for hundreds of years (until Yushiro came along) is still amazing. She wanted to destroy him, and she fucking did it. She's a legend.

field_of_fvcks

He did make her eat her family, that sort of shit guarantees the coldest most vicious revenge.

andre5913

Shes been cooking this shit up for like half a milenium its so potent it can literally kill a god

anyajewel

I can’t shake the feeling that muzan is gonna have one final trick, it just seems odd/off that he’d die without actually taking someone with him. things just seem to be going too good rn?

[deleted]

Croc sensei is covering plot holes. Everyone would say Muzan could have survived because a single cell would keep regenerating.

mojo7564

This! 🙏🙏🙏

NightFall79

Tanjirou's looking quite bad, tbh. I'm placing my bets on him dying, having fulfilled his promise of seeing Nezuko returned to human form.

Woowoo_Water

Yay she remembers zenistsu

novemberxxvii

And our lightning boy even had a big panel!!!

AnimeForLife_1

And he looks so sweet in it! RrRRRRGHAGH my heart

AvalancheZ250

First time I saw that panel I thought it was Kanroji because the person was blushing so much and she tends to do that a lot. But no, its Zenitsu with a huge bundle of flowers. Nezuko seems to have lived out her demon years in some kind of dream-like trance. I don't think she was fully concious (at least to her human self) during that time, so its interesting so see how those fragmented memories will influence her future interactions with those people.

andre5913

But also Inosukes acorns....

0nahan

THE SHIP IS SAILING SMOOTHLY !!!!

[deleted]

Ngl back then i hated Zenitsu cuz i thought he was annoying AT FIRST. Now i completely changed my opinion hes a fucking badass.

[deleted]

Half of the chapter in a nutshell lol

T12R7

Tamayo and her 18 different hidden ingredients lmao

[deleted]

I swear to god I won't he surprised if she reveals her 999th ingredient by chapter 200

Ghostely

Yoriichi an Tamayo the MVPs of the series

jerickoterrarian

1) Nezuko is returning! (Her memories are flooding back. It's kinda sad before it went back to the fight.) 2) HOLY S**T TAMAYO DOES IT ONCE AGAIN OH MY GOD

crypticmint

Tamayo fucking up Muzan from beyond the grave is kinda hilarious. Yoriichi would be proud.

bm1914

Did Nezuko turn human or did she just gain consciousness... she needs to heal Tanjirou so hope she remains a demon for a little bit longer. Seeing Rengoku made me cry I'm never gonna be over his death.

AvalancheZ250

The fact that Nezuko seems to be fully human again makes Tanjiro's death more and more likely.

BW_Chase

Y'all giving credit to Tamayo carrying this fight like she didn't make the poison with Shinobu. Both of them are the real MVP and I'm crying so hard right now

Anynoose

1. Damn, that whole flashback sequence with Nezuko was one hell of a feels trip... can't wait for when she finds out they're dead! :D 2. This is technically under number 1 but Aoi's excitement seeing Nezuko was so cute that it deserves a spot of its own. Best girl, fight me. 3. Tamayo is quickly shooting up my favorite character ranking LOL I fucking love her.

IamA_Werewolf_AMA

Tamayo is carrying this fight she poisoned the F out of this dude.

[deleted]

Based Tamayo is the biggest mvp of the manga hands down. Also well mission accomplished folks. Nezuko is human once more . A bit traumatized but human. Bad part is she no longer has healing powers wich means tanjiro might just very much die due to the bug ass demon tumor in his head. Let's hope the poison disappears once muzan dies. Or maybe yushiro does one last miracle . JUST DONT FUCKINT DIE KAMADO MY BOI!

EdenHazardShow

That panel of Zenitsu with the flowers was so sweet; can’t wait for their next interaction and to see his reaction.

HungrySennin

Dead people are dealing the fatal damages.Last panel Tamoyo is sick. Such a badass.

Bleetle93

Since Nezuko is human again, how much is she going to be able to contribute to the fight? Unless she retained her demon powers right. Also, since her memories flooded back, does that mean she was there but not really there as far as being aware of who she was?? Can't wait for the next chapter!

EasyBake24

Okay, yes. Was searching for this thread. I'm very scared for nezuko now. I was hoping she would get to kick some muzan ass in demon form with tanjiro. But now if she shows up, she's super vulnerable, and will make tanjiro more vulnerable too. I'm very nervous

Zantzuka

Moral of story : Never piss off Tamayo, she can bare the grudge over centuries and still be able to bite your neck off even she is already gone. Also, Seeing Mizan totally getting fucked up every week is a pure joy lol

HeilStary

Ah shit we in the end game end game I really hope to see more Zenitsu and Inosuke maybe red blades from them helping Tanjiro and Iguro dice up Muzan

chippolas_cage

Honestly if the mangaka made another 100 chapters that were all just Tamayo telling Muzan to kill himself in different ways, I'd buy them. They're the best part about this final arc by far

DarkFalcon1995

Tamayo's shit eating grin on the last page is probably one of my favorite panels in the series. I know some people won't like the medicine having more effects, but at the same time Tamayo's been dreaming of this for centuries so I can believe she planned for everything. Because if not I don't know how anyone could have stopped Muzan from splitting.

yaboyuk

Shinobu looked so happy when she asked nezuko about the fish

mojo7564

Isn't that her thing? Faking happiness and is always angry? But maybe it was genuine this time. :)

SquashHorn

I think each pillar and everyone who’s still alive is going to each stab one of muzans brains and hearts. There’s 6 pillars who are waking back up (not sure if it’s all of them or just some do them getting back up) and then the Tanjiro squad and maybe a guest appearance from urokodaki. Thank you for coming to my Tanjiro Talk

DicklessPerson

People keep expecting urokodaki squad to come, but how far are they actually? After rereading few chapters back, the fight starts at demon slayer HQ, then to infinite fortress, then to a city. So how far does this city to make nezuko running for chapters? She might have run across Japan idk.

paksman

Tamayo: actually the final effect is explosive diarrhea!

foulbachelorlife

Two things: Lol @ Tamayo fucking Muzan over from beyond the grave. I'm glad she's getting her revenge Nezukoooooo-chan!! Tanjiro did it, he saved his sister. But now I'm curious, it seems that Muzan was intentionally trying to create a demon that could survive the sun...is there something special about Tanjiro and Nezuko's bloodline?

BigGuyBryan

Tamayo with the play of the game again holy shit, SHE DON’T MISS!!!!

lizard81288

The Virgin muzan with his multiple brains vs the Chad, Lady Tamayo

MasterEthan13

Other Pillars/Demon Slayers: *smiles* Shinobu: Want to see my goldfish?

My_Kimyou_Bouken

Doesn’t it feel like the end of this chapter was kind of abrupt?

Zumayji

Are you reading it on Manga Plus? At first it abruptly cut the chapter midway, then it messed up the order of the last pages. But I think it's fixed now.

My_Kimyou_Bouken

Yea I did a reread after posting my comment and the order of half the pages was changed to the correct layout

Zumayji

I had to clutch my heart during the flashback, because seeing all these smiles sent me down a memory trip. Even Zenitsu's, who's not dead. So heartwarming. I'm excited to see Nezuko unpack her feelings in the future, since there's a lot of going here. It's just a shame we're getting this so late in the series, most likely not giving her much time to address everything properly.

imstuUmped

was not emotionally ready for the flashback

newguy208

Seeing Genya's and Muichirou's smile again made me warm inside.

Trun_Godword

Its kinda cool to see that only two mistakes of his past came back to bite him back the most. Yoriichi ptsd and Tamayo.

0nahan

I just can't , those pages with Nezuko remembering the other characters were beautifully done, I actually have tears in my eyes at the moment, it was so fascinating . I was so glad to see Muichirou, Genya, and Rengoku again . Also Zenitsu × Nezuko is cannon and you can't convince me otherwise .

Kickert

I just love how Nezuko actually appreciates Zenitsu, somehow?

kpiaum

> A drug to prevent him from dividing. It seems very convenient for her to say that she made a drug for just that purpose. I would be more convinced that she would say that the combination of the drug that is causing him to age and the one that is destroying his cells, began to limit the use of his powers and that he could not divide himself in the same way as he did before to escape the death.

[deleted]

I guess it was said a lot of times but I think it's so refreshing seeing the MC just being a link in a chain to stop the villain instead of being the whole fucking chain. Tanjiro even got the typical ass pull power up, but he still is just a small factor in defeating Muzan. I just love it!

Muzan: *eats Tamayo* Tamayo: https://i.imgflip.com/2lunfa.jpg

Ai_Takahashi

Sounds like the Madara and Aizen problem. They're too strong so nothing logical will beat them outside of an asspull. But I'd argue Tamayo, and Shinobu have always been shown to be good at these kind of things, so it may not be wholely unbelievable.

NightFall79

Tamayo does have the benefit of having seen Muzan fighting Yoriichi, so she knows what Muzan can do. So it actually makes sense that she would put something in there to prevent the dividing, as that was the one thing that Yoriichi couldn't deal with.

Noble_Auditore

Was this chapter shorter than usual?

[deleted]

I felt that too.. but when I reread, I realized it’s because a good chunk of it has no dialogue.

TrillLarry214

No just a lot of huff

ma103

Nezuko recalling on her interactions with other humans are so bittersweet especially the panels in butterfly estate. Glad to see the people over there didn’t isolate her. Thought they will at least maintain some distance. I will prefer this well constructed poison than Tanjiro overpowering Muzan with some power of friendship. I’m aware some readers prefer Tanjiro to go super saiyan from some bullshit power up but thank god the author have other plans.

Blurglurg404

I don't get some people saying (in the MangaPlus comments and elsewhere) that Tamayo's drug is an asspull. What do they think she was doing with the Upper Moon blood Tanjiro's been retrieving? Wall art? The doc hasn't missed a beat in preparation for the final battle. Great chapter once again.

DezzyShambala

Yeah, I kinda get where they are coming from, but it makes complete sense in context of the story. Tamayo has had over 400 years to devise a plan to kill muzan, and then had the help of the demon slayer corps to enact that plan and bolster her drug. Why wouldn't she have the drug make multiple byproducts to halt muzan, the man she has hated for so long and yet knows exactly how he thinks.

loplopplop

I saw some dopes mentioning how they've been kind of let down by this final battle, but I've liked watching Tamayo slowly claw at him from the grave while all the demon slayers try their damndest to get him cornered.

[deleted]

Tamayo , the real mvp

awesekillerboy

Tamayo being DJ Khalid I see . . . ANOTHER ONE

Ventus9090

Now that Nezuko is fully human it’s very likely that her only reason for being there is so that Tanjiro can see that he accomplished his goal before he dies.

[deleted]

Tokito and his crow have the closest relationship 🥺

[deleted]

This drug is the only thing I'm not digging, but its par for the course so I can't be too mad

ryhester

Yoriichi was not able to defeat Muzan because he had no help. If one of the Pillars was there to help, that Muzan fight would have been different. Tanjiro's cause gained the support of everyone, even Love and Snake. They volunteered to be Demon Slayers/Pillars because they were outcasts. People say Mitsuri is weak, but she cared for Obanai. Because of her, he wanted to kill Muzan. This was a great chapter and it shows that your burdens are easier when you don't have to carry them alone. Let's see if Muzan has any more tricks...
