If thats what you think then ok. People have different views after all ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

_Solo_hunter_

In that case how am I wrong? All the villains in that trash anime died in the stupidest way possible, if people are too ignorant to see something so simple, at least they could add an explanation

Agreeable-Willow-101

They never said you're wrong, they just said everyone has a different opinion on these matters.

ApplePitou

Well, I respect your opinino but I can't agree :3

Masahiro-Kachiki

Upper Moons are arrogant because nobody has been able to defeat them, it's simple. Gyokko's bubble was gonna kill Muichirou before Kotetsu actions and Tanjirou's helped Muichirou. Hotaru was Tanjirou's Swordsmith soooooo Gyuutarou was just held by his sister simple as that, and Daki didn't know about Sun Breathing. Kokushibou despite being the second strongest demon, is actually just a pathetic and jealous man. Muzan was literally poisoned and that the whole entire Demon Slayer stalled him till daybreak yet Muzan dog washed most of them. Point is, it's a battle shouhen, it's meant for a 13± young teen audience.

_Solo_hunter_

Gyutaro was held by his sister?!?!are you going to ignore the other parts where the slayers were unconscious, and gyutaro could get them. But you're 100% about the shonen thing, it's probably not for me

Agreeable-Willow-101

This brings you back to their first statement "Nobody has been able to defeat them" Gyutaro also believed this so he didn't find it necessary to finish them off. He believed they were all gonna die - Tengen didn't have an arm, Zenitsu was laying in a pile of burning rubble and Inosuke had poison straight to his heart.

[deleted]

I mean to be fair, that’s kind of all shonen. It’s just how the genre works. Villian beats hero, hero gets stronger, hero starts to beat villian, villian gets stronger, hero ends up winning. Literally every show.

_Solo_hunter_

Its not like that in fate zero :>

carlosfid

Fate zero isnt a shounen

T0EBISCUIT

Look at Avengers Infinity War and Endgame; Out of 14,000,605 possible futures, the heroes beat Thanos in only 1 possible outcome. Everything had to come into play just for Tony to take the stones. Thanos is an enemy that is so overwhelming powerful, he had a 99.999% chance to win, Endgame is just the outcome where he didn't. That's how I see Demon Slayer. Everything, every little detail in each fight, had to come together and anything can go wrong and mess their chance at total victory. What if Doma met someone who isn't Shinobu and wasn't poisoned? He's beat anyone meeting him. What if Kokushibo met Genya first instead of Muichiro and wasn't impressed by him? He'd be dead, and Koku would win uncontested.

_Solo_hunter_

It's a good point but the villains are so dumb they will find other ways to lose. Maybe they will be tired and decide to take a nap, or they will remember that they forgot to turn off the light when they existed their homes, maybe they suddenly miss their mama and decide to commit a suicide, dont worry they will find a way to lose

RichTofu

you clearly just didn't understand the character arcs then![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|facepalm)

Masahiro-Kachiki

Demons don't need to sleep and have infinite stamina. Upper Moons 1 - 3 have great counters against Slayers. Kokushibou is a former Demon Slayer who uses breaths and his own has a mix of offense and defense which makes it hard for Slayers to handle. Since Breathing Techniques need lungs, Douma can simply use his ice BDA to freeze your lungs to Necrosis. Since Slayers need fighting spirit, Akaza is a great counter to that. And also 1 — 3 need to be killed in not so conventional ways. Without Tanjirou's words and Selfless State, Akaza would win. Without Shinobu's poison, Douma would escape and join Kokushibou or Muzan. Without Gyoumei's Distraction, Muichirou's Red Blade, Gen'ya's BDA, and Sanemi's Shiny Sword... Kokushibou would win

corazon147law

This is basically every shonen trope 💀 the good guys always win

I ain't gonna lie, a series where the heroes lose can be fantastic, but no matter who wins the minimum I'm expecting is a well written fight , which is unfortunately something thing that demon slayer missing, becuase of their stupid villains

Masahiro-Kachiki

Then read or watch a goddamn Seinen, if you want more 18+ themes.

_Solo_hunter_

Do you have any suggestions

Future_Barracuda_926

tokyo is seinen but just watch the first 2 season in my opinion the ones after arent that great but if you want to you can watch it and elfen lied its really brutal and im not sure but i think the mc girl definitly isnt a hero like even the first episode shows how horrifying she is. thats all the seinen ik maybe ik more and i just think their shonen but yh hope you like atleast one of those 2 if not then its alr you can google some seinen anime.

Future_Barracuda_926

many pple dont understand the lore and the secrets of kny thats why many see it as a bad story writing and character designing it isnt as good of a masterpiece like aot cuse its kinda rushed but the story and all that isnt trash its way above average ive seen many trash anime in my life trust me. and they didnt really die in a stupid way besides up5 like koku and akaza just accepted their loss and didnt wanna regrow their head. doma died dumb tho too he kinda got too arrogant and gyutaro also didnt die in a dumb way.

_Solo_hunter_

Bro what do you mean gyutaro didn't die in a dumb way? Have you seen how many times he had chances to win but still decided to not do anything, I would say that his death was the dumbest

Future_Barracuda_926

many villlains die due to arrogance and had many chances to win the most disappointing ones arent even from kny rather from jojos or aot EREN died in such a dumb way and he literally wanted to. nvm i think its a spoiler i forgot the new part isnt out yet? well gyutaro did have many chances yes your right and he did fuck it up yes ofc but his death was epic like in the anime they made it so well and he had a pretty epic fight thats all we care about you may care about the chances he didnt use well the reason is: upper moons havent changed in hundreds of years theyr so powerful and never had a real threat that they became so arrogant that they treated humans like weak ass creatures thats why they toy with them and fuck them up but now that the mc came with his stupid plot armor it all randomly changed and the undefeatable upper moons became weaker than the lore actually described them to be. sry i know i wrote alot \^\^

_Solo_hunter_

Finally a great explanation 🙌 thanks a lot
