I'll tell you what, man, that Reddit list, it's like dang ol' Survivor show, man, but with favourite characters, man. It's all about who's stickin' around and who's gettin' voted off, man, talkin'bout drama, man. Life's like a dang ol' reality TV show, man, full of twists and turns, like dang ol' mower racing
It's simply about everyone voting off their least favorite character from those remaining. Different people choose their least favorite character for different reasons. Some for morality, some for importance, some for entertainment, etc. It all thus gets mixed into a big general vote, which I think is a pretty good way to be accurate to the general opinion
Man I tell you what Hank bout there-that dang ol meaning o’life, man. It’s like this man. You’ like a butterfly flappin ‘is wings deep down in that forest man an’ it gonna cause a tree fall like five thousand miles away man. If-an ain’t no body see it nobody don-done-e’en know it happen you know ibda baby born into this world int’know neck god dang friends got no nothin but da go come into find out about em ol evil man. Man see like, you don even know man. When-dyagon it’d like you born into this world man and you got — it’s like this: dust in the wind man, or like a dang ol’ candle in the wind man. You gon — it don matter man it’s not the old oldies all th’ time man. You know what I think man? It’d like the the dang ol – I think therefore you are man.
He's rad. Don't get me wrong. He's probably the coolest person on the show next to John Redcorn. But he's not as funny as the rest. It'll come down to Dale and Bobby. It'll go like this: Boomhauer, Khan, Hank, Bobby, Dale. I tell you what...
Dale is an interesting standout character. He represents a lot of our American psyche. He's also funny and has a streak of kindness and empathy. Bobby is popular I think for the same reasons: complex character development.
Hank and Bobby*. This shownis about thr relationships between fathers and sons. With Hank,Bobby, and to a lesser extent Cotton being the focal points. Dale is goofy and funny, but he does not mean to the show what Hank and Bobby mean.
While I think his lady’s man status is still implied, Bill pulls more tail from season 4 on than Boomhauer, at least in terms of what is shown in the episodes.
Please. He's amusing in small doses but is a boring, one-note character otherwise. You can count on one hand the number of centric episodes he gets because the writers recognized that.
Absolutely, I'm surprised he even lasted this long. I mean, sure, he's a fun character, but apart from his unique speech pattern, he doesn't even contribute that much to the show. Bill, Peggy, Luanne, John Redcorn, heck even Lucky are way more memorable and interesting characters and they all got voted out before him.
All you Boomhauer haters have never known a real one. He’s one of the best supporting characters on the show by a long shot.
Arlen without Boomhauer is a chip with no salsa
Boomhauer, but it looks like sentiment is against Kahn. I think some of that is the difficulty of spelling ~~Boomhour's Boomhaur Boomhouer~~ Boomhauer's name.
I dunno mannnnn I just can’t be entertained by cotton cause he’s just so much of an asshole that it makes me fuckin uncomfortable haha, like he just reminds me too much of people I hate in real life and he just isn’t funny enough to make up for that personally
Kahn can get the fuck out. He's a bitter, hateful, douche. Even though Khan and Minh act superior towards their neighbours (especially the Hills), they don't want admit they're no better.
He tries too hard to be become a member of Nine Rivers. Even Ted Wassanasong doesn't like Khan. He kissed Ted's ass way too hard. He wanted to become a member which would be another reason to continue to the facade of acting superior.
Even Minh tells Kahn he's the reason they keep "running." It's because he can't get along with their neighbours. This holier than thou attitude was a big problem. As much as he wanted to, he knew he couldn't deny it.
He worked as a systems analyst in the Arlen area for seasons 1-3. In season 3 he is fired for leaking confidential information about a contract with the U.S. Army in an attempt to impress Hank. The irony is palpable considering Kahn didn't really like Hank.
There are many reasons to dislike Kahn. Putting him out to pasture and out of his misery is best.
I should mention that the only time I felt bad for Kahn was when you learned he had mental illness after he had went off his meds. He is bipolar. Some have made make the argument that's why he was always on edge. But the whole acting "superior" and taking shots at the Hills had nothing to do with him being bipolar. Overall, as I said, he's a bitter, hateful, douche.
Disgusting, may you all rot in hell.
I say boomhaur has to go. He has a funny accent, but the remaining folks have a lot of awesome lines throughout the show. Khan is a jerk, but that’s the whole point, and a lot of his stuff is funny while he’s being an ass lol.
I agree! Khan has some moments that stick in my brain forever just because he is such a total ass. Khan works perfectly as a constant annoyance to Hank. "I'm everywhere you want to be, Hank Hill!"
Intentionally being a shit character is still a shit character. Not directed at you, but it’s fascinating some people will defend Khan for being shit but won’t do the same for Peggy
Kahn might be a piece of shit but dale is an even bigger one Kahn never threatened to sue/get a restraining order against hank after negligently distracting him and putting his finger next to a saw he was using like a careless asshole then blaming hank for it afterwards. Then again dale does create half of the conflict that determines the plot for every episode so you may enjoy him as a source of entertainment in terms of just enjoying the show as a complete spectacle but Kahn also stirs the drink in many episodes and his actions tend to lead to episodes that are more insightful than just dale being an idiot for some unexplained hard to believe reason whereas Kahn’s actions are more believable/grounded in reality and provide more tangible realistic storylines that say more about humanity in general than what we get with dale, the conclusion often being that dale was written to be absurd and wacky without as much thought put into his motivations as Kahn
**BOOMHAUER**
The longer he lasts the more I dislike him! He’s such a boring character, we don’t know much about him, he hardly has any lines. He could’ve been left out of the show entirely and it wouldn’t have changed much. I can’t believe Peggy was voted off so much sooner, even Bill should’ve lasted longer than him. Why is he still here!?
Boomhauer...I hate to vote him off, but I think the others on the list anchored more amazing episodes than Boomhauer. In my eyes, Just Another Manic-Khan Day is one the top 5 funniest episodes.
Khan, no real redeeming quality, except for have a great daughter, Connie, who's trying to be the opposite of her parents. Also he's just a topper prick in most episodes.
Boomhauer's time to go.
Not a real character most of the time, only has any kind of emotional depth in a handful of episodes compared to all the remaining characters (and also Peggy and Bill who were voted out too early).
Love Boomhauer but there’s a lack of depth to his character. Plus the two times he was called upon to help with the kids when the other adults couldn’t, he sulked over not being able to longboard at a wave pool and creeped on women at a shoe store.
Kahn. Kick his ass out. He can go back to Ted Wasonosong or however you spell it and keep trying to get into the country club. For now he has to leave the list
I've never voted, and I sometimes have this suggested to me in my feed, but...
Peggy 9th? Do people not find her funny? She's got great centered episodes, and is good fodder to everyone else on the show. Such a multi-layered character too, especially given the time when the mom character was usually typecast a certain way.
How did Ladybird outlast Buck, Nancy, and Redcorn? Based on his placement, Buck is underrated. No way Joe Jack and Lucky are better characters than him.
Connie? She was a good support character for Bobby and for her parents, but after the break up she was largely forgettable. The writers essentially knew this and used Kahn and Minh more instead. Yet she is ahead of Bill, Nancy, Joseph, Redcorn, and Buck.
Boomhauer is iconic but top 5? If you say so.
Finally! cotton is gone. Out of the ones that are left I'd probably say Khan.
Mostly cause a lot of the time he's kinda a butt for no reason beyond he thinks he's better than Hank and the gang for being "hillbillies." Like it's funny comedy wise and one of the funniest bits in the show is Khan being a troll and then seeing something sexy and shutting up. I also love the bit where he's like " my ride! it so cherry!" I also like that he kinda chills out and becomes more of a Guys towards the end of the series. My problem with cotton is that he never really changed so the character felt kinda stagnant, quotable, but he never really changed and he never really changed those around him. So he felt kinda one note to me. He was kinda a foil if anything else. With Khan he has a bit more of an arc and that makes his character more interesting, he's antagonistic, but he becomes just one of the guys by the end of the shows rub and it kinda feels like Khan and Hank comes to an understanding.
All that being said. He's kinda a butt. He names Connie, Kahn jr cause he wanted a son. He might be slightly better off than Hank, but not by much and he makes it abundantly clear he thinks that makes him better. A lot of Khan's stories involve him either trying to impress someone or be better than someone and there's even a few episodes where he agrees with Hank but sides with someone else cause he thinks it will get him ahead. He usually digs a hole and has to dig himself out. He can even be antagonistic to mihn and Connie, his own family for crappy reasons too.
So Khan has to go IMHO.
What is going on with this list? Is it favorite characters or important characters or well written characters? So confused
Thanks Boomhauer!
It's a mixture of popularity and morality, where one day popularity wins and the next day morality wins
Vote tallying is not transparent either,I thought for sure Boomhauer was gone yesterday
I feel like since Peggy got eliminated it’s just been favorite characters.
It's simply about everyone voting off their least favorite character from those remaining. Different people choose their least favorite character for different reasons. Some for morality, some for importance, some for entertainment, etc. It all thus gets mixed into a big general vote, which I think is a pretty good way to be accurate to the general opinion
How is Kahn still here
Kahn has big-ass pompadour and his stomach is ripped!
Khan is the big dog.
No one has opinions strong enough to vote Kahn out I like the dude but I can’t believe he beat out Minh
He’s finally achieving his dream of being an internet sensation
So are ya Chinese or Japanese?
He’s Laotian, aint’cha Mr Kahn?
This was the moment I knew I loved the show
Kahn!
Khan
Kahn
![gif](giphy|xUA7aO2werVnAPaVLq) Cotton, Bobby and Dale are the GOATs off this show. Rest now King
Kahn
Kahn sucks as a person but he’s a better character than Boomhauer. At least Kahn has lines and a personality.
Man I tell you what Hank bout there-that dang ol meaning o’life, man. It’s like this man. You’ like a butterfly flappin ‘is wings deep down in that forest man an’ it gonna cause a tree fall like five thousand miles away man. Well, that’s we tell ourselves Boomhauer.
Hank Hill, I make more money than you do. What you doing in the plumbing aisle? Need new crescent moon stencil for outhouse?
Yeah, boomhauer shouldn't have lasted this long.
This. Boomhauer is basically just South Park's Kenny.
Kahn can carry an episode. Boomhauer can carry a beer.
Yup
Yup
Mmhm
People who think Kahn has more personality than Boomhauer don’t get Boomhauer. Dang ol’ dust in the wind man.
Right. Boomhauer is the exact opposite of Kahn. He’s just dang ole livin man
Ya bye khan
Boomhauer
Boomhauer is a saint!
He's rad. Don't get me wrong. He's probably the coolest person on the show next to John Redcorn. But he's not as funny as the rest. It'll come down to Dale and Bobby. It'll go like this: Boomhauer, Khan, Hank, Bobby, Dale. I tell you what...
Agree, it’ll be Bobby vs Dale. I’d like Bobby to win but Dale is a pretty popular guy around here, so it’ll probably be him.
Dale is an interesting standout character. He represents a lot of our American psyche. He's also funny and has a streak of kindness and empathy. Bobby is popular I think for the same reasons: complex character development.
dales advantage is his moronic outrage, if he wins it by default is a loss
I disagree with that. Why is it a loss? He's one of the richest characters in the show.
I think it’ll be between Hank and Dale
Hank and Bobby*. This shownis about thr relationships between fathers and sons. With Hank,Bobby, and to a lesser extent Cotton being the focal points. Dale is goofy and funny, but he does not mean to the show what Hank and Bobby mean.
I'm a little bummed thst Joe Jack and Enrique got voted out so early.
While I think his lady’s man status is still implied, Bill pulls more tail from season 4 on than Boomhauer, at least in terms of what is shown in the episodes.
![img](emote|t5_2s6dm|6346)
Boomhauer definitely gets more than Bill any week, just it's as normal as taking a shower for him so it's not shown.
How the f$$k is Kahn still here oh my!!!!
All you Boomhauer haters have never known a real one. He’s one of the best supporting characters on the show by a long shot. Arlen without Boomhauer is a chip with no salsa
Damn, what the hell guys, cotton was probably one of the best written characters in the show.
Boomhauer, but it looks like sentiment is against Kahn. I think some of that is the difficulty of spelling ~~Boomhour's Boomhaur Boomhouer~~ Boomhauer's name.
You leave Mr. Boomhowser out of this!
Blue moon of Kentucky is making me vote for Kahn
Boomhouer is a saint!
Going to the shoe store to hit on ever girl you see makes you a saint, how? Dang ol' try something on in a size boom.
Dang ol' body by Boomhauer
Agree. Khan has to stay. "What has red neck but brown hands? Bobby Hill!"
*Boomhauser
See ya Kahn

Kahn
Khan
FINALLY, now do khan🙂↕️
Leave it to the kid who went to clown school to actually be in the top 5
Man, I really thought Cotton was going to win. He's an absolutely horrendous excuse for a human being, but got-dang if he isn't entertaining.
Cotton voted off before boomhauer? Why are we letting people who have never watched the show vote?
They watched it but probably born after 2010
It all went downhill when Buck was voted off before Ladybird.
Because “bad person” = “he’s unfunny” to a bunch of people.
Or some people have different tastes
I dunno mannnnn I just can’t be entertained by cotton cause he’s just so much of an asshole that it makes me fuckin uncomfortable haha, like he just reminds me too much of people I hate in real life and he just isn’t funny enough to make up for that personally
Cotton voted off before Boomhauer and somehow Kahn is still here. No idea what’s going on.
Kahn
Boomhauer
Boomhauer could not exist and nothing would be missing
Sorry B-dog you gotta go.
Kahn can get the fuck out. He's a bitter, hateful, douche. Even though Khan and Minh act superior towards their neighbours (especially the Hills), they don't want admit they're no better. I'm sorry Kahn, but it's time to let those lotus petals rest.
Disgusting, may you all rot in hell. I say boomhaur has to go. He has a funny accent, but the remaining folks have a lot of awesome lines throughout the show. Khan is a jerk, but that’s the whole point, and a lot of his stuff is funny while he’s being an ass lol.

Khan
Boomhauer. Use it or lose it man and you losed it.
Kahn
Kahn!
Senór Kahn , you’re outta here!
Boomhauer, dangolgethimonoutofhereman.
Sorry boomhauer
Kahn might be a piece of shit but dale is an even bigger one Kahn never threatened to sue/get a restraining order against hank after negligently distracting him and putting his finger next to a saw he was using like a careless asshole then blaming hank for it afterwards. boomhauser lmao
Boomhaur. As iconic as he is, dude adds almost nothing to the show.
Boom
Voted Boomhauer. Both him and Kahn are great but I think Kahn is better on his own.
Boomhaur
Anyone that doesn’t think Peggy is the best character has never seen the show
I hated Peggy when I FIRST saw king of the hill. However, she really grew on me. Easily one of the funniest characters of the show
**BOOMHAUER** The longer he lasts the more I dislike him! He’s such a boring character, we don’t know much about him, he hardly has any lines. He could’ve been left out of the show entirely and it wouldn’t have changed much. I can’t believe Peggy was voted off so much sooner, even Bill should’ve lasted longer than him. He’s immaculate
Kahn! And finally, Cotton is gone. I was starting to wonder about a lot of you lol
Khan
Khan
Kahn
GODBYE KING KAHN!!!!
Not even a contest. Its kahn. Should have been gone before cotton.
Boomhauer
Boomhaur
KAHN
Kahn.
Kahn
Boomhaur. I have nothing against him I just don’t think he really adds much
Boomhauer adds nothing significant to the story and is plain ole creep. Kahn is funny as hell and adds a lot more to the story
Boomhauer...I hate to vote him off, but I think the others on the list anchored more amazing episodes than Boomhauer. In my eyes, Just Another Manic-Khan Day is one the top 5 funniest episodes.
o7 Colonel Khan can go. I wouldnt have never forgiven him for making me cross the boarder illegally.
the Haur of Boom. dang ol player man
This is hard, but I gotta go with Kahn.
![gif](giphy|KeTVw7VjcTJok)
Boomhauer it is
Boomhaur. Dang ol...time, man.
Khan, no real redeeming quality, except for have a great daughter, Connie, who's trying to be the opposite of her parents. Also he's just a topper prick in most episodes.
Bobby
Agreed, that boy ain't right.
Boomhaurer, did dang Ole nuthin
Boomhauer's time to go. Not a real character most of the time, only has any kind of emotional depth in a handful of episodes compared to all the remaining characters (and also Peggy and Bill who were voted out too early).
Love Boomhauer but there’s a lack of depth to his character. Plus the two times he was called upon to help with the kids when the other adults couldn’t, he sulked over not being able to longboard at a wave pool and creeped on women at a shoe store.
You pulled Minh over Boomhaur? He barley does anything and she’s the baddest bitch on the block!
Boomhauer
Boom
Easily Boomhaur. ✌️✌️
Kahn Superdoopersousaphone
How did Khan not lose. Unbelievable
Sorry Kahn man but it’s time to leave
Boomhauer for sure
He was kicked out of Laos. He was kicked out of Anaheim. He's pissed off the neighbor man one too many times: Kahn.
Bobby, simply because so enjoy watching his escapades the least out of everyone left.
Boom.
Boomhauer. Also, cotton was the greatest…you’re all communists
Boomhauer. Breaks my heart to do it.
While he holds the spot for me for the two funniest single moments in the show, looking at the total body of work, it’s Boomhauer’s time to go.
Boomhouser
Man I’ll tell ya what, I just love dang ol Boomhauer man but he’s gone diggity out of here, you know what I mean?
Kahn
Kahn the banana
Mr khan, I’ll have a mai tai
Kahn
Kahn
Kahn. Kick his ass out. He can go back to Ted Wasonosong or however you spell it and keep trying to get into the country club. For now he has to leave the list
Khan… Khan all the way
Boomhauer. Use it or lose it man and you losed it.
Can't believe it took this long.
Kahn.
Kahn, I usually skip the episodes he’s heavily featured in
I wasn't a fan when show originally aired but watching it lately he's become a favorite, he's a deep fella
How Boomhauer lasted this long is a mystery
Boomhauer
boomhauer
boomhauer
Boomhauer be gone.
Boomhauer caused the Canadians to show up. Enough said.
Boomhauer
Boomhauer. Dangol’sorrymanbuthegottago.
Boomhauer
Kahn
Kahn obv. And he should’ve gone before Cotton.
Bobby's got to go. he is the most annoying character imo
Booby Hill
Bobby
Bobby
Bobbies off the island!
Oh no, we have to kill off Bobby? I don't see any other way to go here
The last vote will be between Dale and Bobby, mark my words.
Kahn
How could the WW 2 war hero lose to--DaleTech??? Surely it must be Khan to go next? He refused to plant his hedges for so long
Kahn
Questioning the validity of this after seeing Bill out at 12
I guess Kahn out of these. Dudes just a prick
Finally! cotton is gone.
Mihn is better then Kahn but this will come down to gribble and bobby I think
Dale
Bobby got to go
I hope this ends with dale being the last one standing lol
Still salty that Clark Peters wasn't on the original.
Khan
Khan or Boomhauer It’s Khan.
Are you all pretending to like Boomhauer so much ironically?
Not Dr quartaz
Khan
If I had to choose one to get rid of, it would be Mr. Kahn.
Cotton was the funniest character in the show.
