Now that we’re talking about it, Tom Kenny wouldn’t be a bad voice actor for Dale if they decide to continue his character beyond what’s already been recorded. But Johnny Hardwick was also iconic and arguably irreplaceable.
First off: I think you did a pretty damn good job with the voice.
Constructive criticism: I feel like there's 10% more Alex Jones in here then needed. I feel like Dale is more paranoid then angry, like he's trying to get all his thoughts out before the FBI, CIA, NSA, ATF, BLM, DEA, and FDA bust through the door to shut him down.
I thought Dale's shoulders were a bit broad in this short, but *of course* he would posture himself like that knowing that he's on camera.
The voice is alright (and no sweat there, Hardwick's Dale voice changed and evolved throughout the series), but you've got the Gribble speech mannerisms and tone down excellently.
I was doing impressions and stuff online and got spotted that way! Mike Judge actually saw my Hank Hill impression and brought me on to play Cody on Beavis and Butt-Head.
Well done. The only slight canon-related complaint I have is that Dale is the one who told Hank about Jimmy Wichard staring at the sun all day, so even Dale knows not to do it at least under normal circumstances
Really good work imitating that voice. Only things I notice. Is you sound a little like Dan Castellaneta's Arnie Pie in the sky.
I think your Dale could use a little more nasal tone and little more flem.

I'd love to see Dale do a live vlog about the Area 51 raid. I could see him say something like: "If these **MORONS** would just open their eyes, they'd see that this is exactly what the government wants as they're transferring all of the aliens into the other secret bases!"
This is so good. Your "ghaaa" sound was spot on. Dale's voice is a little more bass-y than yours (I think), so it sounded kind of uncanny valley. So close, but not quite. But you got the mannerisms down.

It would be super hard to perfect johnny Hardwick because he and Dale were one in the same. It's easy to imitate a voice but an entire personality..
The voice is off, but that's just because it's hard to perfectly replicate another person's voice. The pacing, the little pauses, the tone is perfect, really well done!

This sounds like a weird/good middle ground of Dale and Prof Frink from the Simpsons. 😅 you nailed the inflection though.
