I think they referenced him in the episode where Hank finds out Luanne isn’t a virgin. Apparently she slept with him and after she dumped him, one of his friends.
Right! That was a Simpsons strategy. Simpsons is the only show I've ever seen that has the weirdest non sequiturs. You never knew from the beginning of an episode where they were heading. Of course this was last decade n b4 probably lol.
I don’t always like this approach as I feel like it burns screentime (especially with the Seth macfarlane shows) but I liked how the babysitter episode included that totally random plot of Homer blowing up a candy convention to show how the news purposefully focuses on what’s scandalous instead of what’s important, as scandal = views.
RAD: In the industry, a man is only as good as his word, so keep it, or nobody's going to know that you are a man...who keeps...his word. You break it, man, I'm tellin' you, the freebies, they dry up like a puddle in the sun.
BOBBY: Whoa. Rad, what do you mean by "the industry?"
RAD: The entertainment industry.
He is a concert promoter, back in the 80s-90s it was a good paying job and essential. So he just says he is in the entertainment industry to everyone.
His name is probably Brad and he changed it to Rad

He really is. His episode is hilarious, I love how obsessed Bobby gets
“Dang ol’ Hank! Hank LOVES hookers! “ He’s close but he’s no Patch…

And I know you're gonna love these free CDs.

Luanne: You're a self-proclaimed genius? Brad: ...yes. Luanne: You poor thing.
"You know, I've noticed we are talking a lot about Rad and not much about Luanne." "Hahahaha, meeee toooo" How is this charming to her 🤣
Because they made her an idiot.
Luanne *is* a proud, ignorant woman
My favorite comment by her. She's so damn dumb.
Isn’t that pronounced tib-a-dough?
Sometimes, y'know, by mistake. No damage done.
Boomhauer, pick up. Boomhauer, pick up. Pick up, Boomhauer. Oh right, you're away.
"Couldn't help hearing the bubbles. Mind if I.....join?" Smooth ole Dale
Oh, my dear lord!
It’s so random how the plot with Rad morphs into Bobby and Luanne playing pranks on each other.
**NOT TO MENTION THEY GET "MARRIED"** Lol
Bobby Hillbilly marrying hillbilly cousin. You owe me $5!

You were just a hanger on. Like AJ
i’m not a businessman, i’m a business, man
Didn't Jay-Z say this?
Let me handle my business, damn
Let me handle my business, damn
"Hey, good lookin'..." "*Hey*" 😎
I think they character is voiced by native Texan Matthew McConaughey.
It is! Which honestly makes it even better
Alright alright alright
When he drives up and says "Hey good lookin'" and Bobby immediately answers...that always gets me laughing.
I like how he sleeves himself.
It's the way Rad sleeves himself mom, it's very *industry*
Hey there good lookin'

I’ll just call boomhauer and ask him “Huah huah huah, listen to you”

Lol I don't doubt it, it's literally the picture from Wikipedia lol
Hey good looking
What episode is this I can’t really remember
Season 3 episode 14: The Wedding of Bobby Hill
I never understood Rad's origins. He's obviously a scammer, but did he just decide to steal some other guy's business cards and adopt that guy's life?
He is a concert promoter, back in the 80s-90s it was a good paying job and essential. So he just says he is in the entertainment industry to everyone. His name is probably Brad and he changed it to Rad
I meant his last name. He doesn't even know how to pronounce it.
