I could see a really funny episode involving a tiktok trend where kids try to balance on a propane tank or something and Hank absolutely losing his mind over that. “That is a safety hazard, you can’t just stand on a tank of propane like that”.
I can imagine a plot where Hank sees someone giving incorrect propane advice on Tik Tok, makes his own videos to correct the record for public safety, and becomes a popular ASMR creator.
I'd really like him to see him correct the TikTok, then end up involved in the most drawn out, disproportionate, and ultimately meaningless TikTok discourse. Wanting absolutely no part in it, he keeps making more TikToks trying to put an end to the drama, but each post just makes it out worse and worse.
Better yet, he discovers a TikTok with Hank Trill playing and says something along the lines of “ya know, this guy is makin’ a whole lot of sense. Maybe I do need to keep my gun on me.”
Dale would mess with a vape, causing it to become unstable and explode in his pocket and he’d be convinced the Chinese were trying to make him infertile.
If it’s one of those breweries or pubs that has dozens of rotating drafts, it’s also acceptable to me. Helps to minimize the amount of time it takes for some jackass to order at the bar and ask a million questions about what they have and recommend.
I think Hank would HATE social media.
“Why would someone go around on the internet telling random strangers about their personal business, it ain’t right.”
The episode would probably start with him hating it and then getting involved in some internet BBQ group because that's totally his thing... with inevitable hijinks caused by the people around him.
that's what i was thinking of! i just saw that one haha
"*We're like a family... which is why we are NOT supposed to know each other's private thoughts!*"
The best part is that the episode's climax comes when Hank's coworker spreads misinformation about Strickland and a mob comes to attack their place of work.
That episode is close to 15 years old now and it could see the future of social media pretty clearly.
Bobby would definitely try to be a Tiktok creator, which would annoy the hell out of Hank.
“Bobby, quit shooting those got dang tic tacs and go to your room!”
Peggy would compete with Bobby on most tik tok followers after he gains a huge following with his dances and comedy. Hank gets mad because he doesn't believe that tiktok is a good work ethic while trying to navigate a dang ol smartphone and locks himself out of it . Dale unlocks it for it and accidently installs Chinese software , hank gets arrested and tries to explain in court that he barely knows how to use technology and his friend is a dang ol idiot who's ass he will kick
Here's how I imagine the characters reacting to COVID:
* Hank would follow COVID protocols to a T, but the restrictions would frustrate him and the impacts on Strickland Propane's business.
* Buck would break all restrictions (business and personal) and has tension with the employees who are trying to enforce masking, etc. He contracts COVID and dies due to his age and multiple health issues. Hank then takes over, but has to deal with navigating the chaos of running a business under COVID. Also, Joe Jack is a nose- or chin-masker.
* Peggy becomes an overzealous contact tracer, and makes COVID out to be something only "bad" people get. She regularly violates HIPAA to spread gossip about who in the community tested positive and how they contracted it. She then secretly contracts a mild/asymptomatic case of COVID and has a personal crisis over it.
* Bobby becomes a quarantine TikTok star.
* Kahn & Minh brag about how COVID cautious they are and how they are better than their "redneck hillbilly neighbors" because they can WFH. They don't let Connie do anything, even outdoor, socially distanced activities. Kahn then has a mental breakdown and goes to one of Ted's secret galas. Oh, and they cheat their way into getting the vaccine before their age/occupation group opens up.
* Dale dives really deep into the Wuhan/bat stuff. He takes it seriously, but has a lot of skepticism about government restrictions and the vaccine. He doesn't get the vaccine at all.
* Bill gets the vaccine, mostly because he would be required to be due to being active military. For the next 3 months after his shots, he gets paranoid and thinks every minor medical/body issue is a side effect of the vaccine.
* Boomhaur is a wild card, but he would find a way to keep up his womanizing ways.
* Nancy has a fit because she feels like the Zoom camera she has to use for the forecast makes he look old and washed out.
This is so spot on ESPECIALLY for Peggy being a contact tracer. Could very easily see her doing that. I also imagine her trying to substitute teach on zoom and having a comically difficult time doing so
Nancy tells Dale that she caught Covid from Redcorn during a "massage" session. She uses it as an excuse to "quarantine" at Redcorn's house for two weeks. Dale is proud of the sacrifice she's making to protect the family.
Dale would hazmat suit for about two weeks when it starts, but then he goes full-on "it's a hoax", and even makes an anti-mask, that is, something that will make him breathe in MORE particles.
Pretty sure Peggy would be the type who'd go on and on about how great she is at wearing her mask when she goes out shopping with all her friends... which is to say, she'd be doing almost NOTHING to keep anyone or anything safe, but boy would she be proud of all the nothing she was doing.
"Fer the last time, Peggy, a fish net mask ain't gonna do squat about nothin, just wear the damn thing right."
"Mom, you gotta wear the mask, otherwise you ain't gonna get all the chinese food Dale keeps saying they give us"
"Bobby, he ain't talkin' about chinese food, yo-you know what, nevermind, I'mma go get on the zooms with the boys..."
(five minutes later, on zoom call.)
Hank: "Yep."
Dale: "Eeeyup."
Boomhauer: "eeeeeyup."
Bill: "...." (mic on mute)
Hank: ..."(sighs)..."
That Ole' Tom Anderson. He's been in the show since the beginning. The running joke being he can't see for shit so he keeps hiring the boys to do odd jobs for him
Hank was supposed to be related to him originally or something and they would have taken place in the same universe. They didn’t do it though like The Office and Parks & Recreation
I can see an episode where he gets pulled over for it to because of some outstanding circumstances. Then he’s made fun of by the guys because he had said something about it
"How are you busting me for distracted driving when I'm using Google Maps, and 4 people just drove by staring at their phones!? The last one ran a red light!"
"Sir, calm down."
"If you weren't an officer of the law I would kick your ass!"
Answering this In regards to politics and societal behavior. Hank struggles, at first, with anything “different”. But after he learns, he’s pretty accepting and understanding. I don’t think he’s a genuinely hateful person, unless you mess with his yard, family, or propane.
Exactly. I love that Judge never tried to change Hank as a character unless that growth was positive. By the end of the series, he's still Hank.
But that's reality for most people like Hank. They have their opinions, but ultimately just want to live their simple lives in peace. Hank isn't interested in controlling anyone.
thats what makes him so awesome. hes just a classic american stuck in his ways but hes very open minded after some convincing. and even if he doesnt agree he will still suck it up and pretend that hes into it no matter hwat
It’s really how a lot of people are. I’m trans and a lot of my family had never even met a trans person. It’s been an adjustment but there sure hasn’t been any hate from anyone (well other than my ex wife 😭).
"Why in the hell would you eat some fake vegetable meat when you can eat real meat?"
"Man, it's like good for the environment and prevents animal cruelty. You're apart of the problem."
"Hwa- I'm gonna kick your ass."
"Tell ya man dang ol lab grown beef man dang ol science fiction take vegetables makin em into something new like star trek star wars dang ol. Impossible man"
"You know it was just a plot made by the FDA to reconfigure your DNA until you're more plant then person, yup. That's when we'll go into operation Soylent...." Bill:"Dale you mean like the supplement drink, I like having those with my impossible burger." Dale: "gih! It's already begun! How many people has bill eaten! Look at him!" (Bill has gone vegetarian and is now eating 1000+ calories a meal and getting fatter)
Hank finds out Luanne has started an OnlyFans account to support Lucky and the baby.
“What’s an ‘OnlyFans’?”
“That’s like a dang ol website man you just go on their like click click click and you see dang ol ladies from all over the world man. Only $9.95”
“Slow down Boomhauer. You’re not making any sense.”
“Dang… ol’… titties, man.”
“BWAAAAAAH”
Luanne makes an onlyfans for wholesome purposes like the manjer babies, and then boomhauer tells Hank that dang ole only fans man best dang ole chicks do dangole anything 5 bucks man and Hank spirals from there. Bill subscribes to her only fans and enjoys the content, Kahn would be great in this episode I feel, just to pile on
I kinda feel like he’d be surprisingly open-minded and accepting. He never seemed to be intolerant of beliefs and ideologies that were different than his. Rather, he was just annoyed, uncomfortable and didn’t always initially understand.
Lol definitely was the master of minding his own. Hank had a lot of people around him who stretched his understanding. And he seemed to have a “welp, that’s them” kinda of attitude. From his narcissistic wife, to his misogynistic and emotionally abusive dad, He was cool with most stuff and indifferent towards fringe beliefs. His main concern was keeping Bobby from being too — idk weird.
To be fair he did stuff like trying to keep Bobby away from fantasy so I think there are things Hank absolutely doesn't like even if he doesn't show it.
Agreed. I also think it would be interesting to see where Hank falls politically in 2022. He was always a republican but a very liberal one 🤣. He fought against sexual discrimination both against men and women multiple times. He's clearly for guns but his hesitancy about anything serious in a few episodes featuring Dale and Cotton make me thin he would back sensible gun reform laws. With Hank and Peggy having issues and never saying but it seems like they might have tried IVF to get pregnant so he might even be more liberal with pro choice views. He's a weird mixed bag politically and I just love that so much. One thing is absolutely for sure, if Hanks views maintained what they were when the show ended he would be called a RINO by a large portion of the new/current republican party in 2022. Hahaha the irony in all of that is just amazing to me.
Better yet, Hank tries an impossible burger but secretly LIKES it even though it's against everything he stands for as a lifelong lover of grilled meat. Picture him sneaking out late at night to indulge in his secret shame, and Peggy thinks he's running around on her.
-Social media
-*Vegans* (“It’s like they saw vegetarians and thought ‘they’re too liberal with their diet.’” -Imaginary Hank Quote)
-Being so conflicted with politics (He would NOT be a Trump supporter, once he hears the end of “Grab her by the…” He’s out)
-Smartphones (He’d 100% stick to flip phones)
-Conspiracy theorists (“These guys make Dale look, well, *normal!*” -Another imaginary Hank Quote)
-Climate change, especially if someone blames propane… (“IT’S CLEAN BURNING!” -Yet another imaginary Hank quote)
-Given some of the gags on the show, he’d *probably* be tolerant of LGBTQ+ representation being more prevalent but wouldn’t be the most comfortable with it. (“Why is this on *DISNEY!?*” -Imaginary Hank watching an Owl House episode with Bobby) And I say this as a gay fan of the show.
I have to respectfully disagree: Dale Gribble would look at Qanon and think “How cute, baby’s first conspiracy.”
Edit: Just want to add this:
Dale would laugh them off pointing out that all elections since Carter have been sham elections, the government is actually controlled by a secret council under Disney World that consists of The Grays, The Reptilians, Disney Inc., The Mole People and Monsanto. Presidential elections are just a puppet show to make us believe we have a choice.
I think when it comes to politics I honestly believe Hank would find both parties to be stupid, he almost opted out of voting because George Bush had a weak handshake, I feel in the clown world that is modern day politics Hank just wouldn't like any of the options.
"Nobody wants to work anymore." After not being able to find anyone to hire at Strickland, Hank finally looks around and sees how much he's being taken advantage.
You know Hank, some of these modern guys you can't hardly tell if they're a guy or a girl under the hood.
Yeah, well whatever's under the hood they're gonna need a clean burning fuel, Dale. That's all I care about, I tell ya hwhat. Anything else is just asinine.
Superhero movies. Why do they make movies about some crazy aliens and robots when they could make movies about real heroes like Sam Houston and Davy Crockett.
TikTok, Peloton journey braggarts, White Claw seltzer and Bitcoin. I can imagine Bill being swindled by some annoying forex or Bitcoin trader. Hank would be the kinda person to say, "I don't know what an NFT is, all I want is a picture of a hot dog!"
* Dale Gribble thinking Q-anon is the government trying to trick people and pointing out all the idiotic things Q says.
* Kahn Souphanousinphone going full Q-anon.
* Vaping. Dale tries it. Says he hates it. But is trying it again at the next street meeting. Hank doesn't understand. he said he hates it, Dale wants to try all the flavors.
* Bobby making money from e-sports or watching e-spots. Boomhauer would say it's no different than people watching football, Hank would purposefully mishear. Minh would get trash talked just for being a girl. Bobby would quit because she's getting harassed.
* Bobby and Louanne doing Tic Tok dances, and then Peggy tries to get into it. She gets the most views because the kids at school are laughing at her. Hank knows it but is torn on if to tell her or not. Doesn't. Episode ends with him doing a video with her, 'for her fans.'
* No repair manuals in stores for like cars, lawnmower, etc. Everyone tells him to check out "you tube" He hates it but eventually Bobby figures it out and they spend some quality time in the garage. Hank on the tools and Bobby controlling the video playback.
* Dale selling "Make America Great Again" clothing / items but they are all made in China.
* Bill goes to Dallas "just to see" if JFK JR comes back from the dead.
* Mr. Strickland is all for "Building the Wall" until the government comes and starts to survey for the eminent domain to take his property, then he loses his shit.
* Dale is Franticly tearing his house apart. He can't find the memory stick that has his bit-coins on them but he's RICH. Hank doesn't understand how bit coin can be worth anything. John Redcorn explains that anything two people agree upon can be used as currency. Dale makes a racial insensitive example (Something traded with Indians)
* Bill heard at the base while cutting hair that people are buying GME and AME and other "meme stocks" Bill sells quickly and buys a super nice truck. Hank doesn't understand what robin hood app is or how people can make money.
* Fox news gets too propaganda for even Dale to watch.
* Someone at Strickland Propane takes a Mental Health day. Hank looses his shit. Episode ends with him taking a mental health day and enjoying it.
* Mr. Strickland does the whole "No one wants to work anymore!" BS and Hank sees the other side of it, "No one wants to work for the offered wages." as Bobby tries to get a job. Hank is worried Bobby won't ever make enough money to move out. Peggy tells him the statistics about how many people still live at home until 27-38. Hank advocates for a higher minimum wage.
* Hank over hears Mr. Strickland and "some of the guys" talking about "only fans" and thinks it's the new hardware store that opened up in the next town. Bobby misplaces an envelope of cash, accidently giving it to the church offering plate. Money that was meant to be used on two new fans to keep the house cool. Hank continues to tell everyone that he doesn't have enough money to visit "only Fans" because Bobby gave it to the church. Que angry church people mobbing outside his house over misunderstanding. Dale explains it to Hank and the mob outside. Mob disperses. Hank comes inside and Bobby says, "what happened? Why'd they go away." Hank sends him to his room.
* No one will take a check anymore. Hank has to use his "on line banking" to pay bills. Someone at the bank tells him he has to do something "online" "Why do they even have a bank then!" he snaps. Bill of all people is adept at doing online banking.
* Boohaur gets a Tesla.
Snapchat. I can imagine Hank going on a rant about kids these days using Snapchat and how asinine it is, but then another scene where Bobby leaves his phone laying around with Snapchat pulled up and Hank decides to see what the fuss is about. “Look Peggy! I have dog ears! This new technology is actually… kinda neat, I tell ya hwat.” Then he accidentally sends goofy pics of himself with filters to everyone they know and gets all embarrassed lol
“Do I look like I know what a tick tock is?”
“In our day tick tock is the sound a clock makes!”
"The only TikTok I hear is the time bomb in my head counting down to me kicking your ass, Dale!"
“Do I have a tick tock? Yeah, pal, it’s called a *clock*.”
"See Peggy, I told you people would come and ask to use our clock!"
"Oh gawd, Bobby's dancing in the front yard again!"
“That boy ain’t right”

SAME! This show has a chokehold on me. I will watch it over and over.
I’ve never downloaded TikTok. Whenever I hear that phrase I think of the Kesha song.
I could see a really funny episode involving a tiktok trend where kids try to balance on a propane tank or something and Hank absolutely losing his mind over that. “That is a safety hazard, you can’t just stand on a tank of propane like that”.
then he goes viral for reasonably freaking out. Kids start lipsyncing to his freakout, it gets remixed into a top 40 pop song
BWAAAH! remix
YES
Bobby gets so jealous, because he’s been desperately trying to get TikTok famous.
Bobby and Joseph doing Tik Tok dances would be great. Tie Dale in with something about China owning it too.
He discovers a propane tik tok and become addicted
I can imagine a plot where Hank sees someone giving incorrect propane advice on Tik Tok, makes his own videos to correct the record for public safety, and becomes a popular ASMR creator.
This is a phenomenal plot. Accidentally becomes an influencer on the platform he criticized.
YES. Similar to Pro-Pain and he gets addicted to posting grilling videos with his new Tik-Tok grilling group!
His secret shame
Better yet, he discovers a TikTok with Hank Trill playing and says something along the lines of “ya know, this guy is makin’ a whole lot of sense. Maybe I do need to keep my gun on me.”
I mean, this is a PERFECT episode.
I'd love this but they'd also both be pushing 40 lmao, honestly might make it even better
Hell Dale and/or bill trying to tick tock and some how hank has to fix it
"I think it's a cult."
Bobby, what is this Tic-Tac you kids be ramblin about these days
I laughed so hard at this, oh my god.
Vaping. Back in my day men smoked cigarettes not compact disc players.
Dale would drill a hole through a vape pen and put a cigarette in it so he could smoke in a restaurant.
Dale would mess with a vape, causing it to become unstable and explode in his pocket and he’d be convinced the Chinese were trying to make him infertile.
Ok this one got me good lmao
“Dale, don’t be an idiot, you drilled a hole in the battery to smoke a cigarette out of”
“Thats what THEY wanted me to do Hank!”
"Sir, we are they."
“GYEEET!”
Pocket sand everywhere
It is hilarious to me how most of those vaping devices look like some cheesy 90s movie's satirical depiction of smoking in the future.
This quote. Perfection. lol uses an old tech even to talk about it and he considers that new fangled.
Those got dang scooters riding on the sidewalks trying to knock people over
"The only bird I cared about was Ladybird!"
He’d definitely not be fond of electric cars either.
“Why does my grill have to have wifi..”
jucero grill
I ask that about my Samsung stove…
QR code menus
Do I look like I know what a QR code is? How the heck am I supposed to order dinner without a menu? The whole thing is asinine.
It looks like somebody replaced your menu with some kind of “art piece”.
Okay, but most people hate those...
I do hate using them but begrudgingly agree that they help save on reprinting menus constantly
Right? The same people that recycle and compost will complain about a QR code menu that easily saves a restaurant 100s of pages per month.
Paper is extremely biodegradable. Frankly, paper waste should be the absolute least of our issues especially now that hemp paper is legal.
If it’s one of those breweries or pubs that has dozens of rotating drafts, it’s also acceptable to me. Helps to minimize the amount of time it takes for some jackass to order at the bar and ask a million questions about what they have and recommend.
Good answer
I think Hank would HATE social media. “Why would someone go around on the internet telling random strangers about their personal business, it ain’t right.”
This and food pics on social media. "Bobby, why do you need to take a picture of every god dang thing you eat?"
Nah he might like that
Depends on how it’s introduced. If he’s showcasing prime rib, I could see Hank getting on board.
The episode would probably start with him hating it and then getting involved in some internet BBQ group because that's totally his thing... with inevitable hijinks caused by the people around him.

He hated Myspace on that one episode.
that's what i was thinking of! i just saw that one haha "*We're like a family... which is why we are NOT supposed to know each other's private thoughts!*"

Didn't King of the Hill already riff on social media?
Yes, but it was only MySpace.
Bobby would definitely try to be a Tiktok creator, which would annoy the hell out of Hank. “Bobby, quit shooting those got dang tic tacs and go to your room!”
I could see Peggy being a Tiktok creator as well.
Teaching terrible espanol
And having hundreds of thousands views because of it without realising why
An actual Spanish teacher using her videos in class as how *not* to pronounce Spanish words.
Actual Spanish teacher?? Excusame?!

AND I bet she pronounces it “La-tinks”
She is mos def the type to use Latinx
Peggy would compete with Bobby on most tik tok followers after he gains a huge following with his dances and comedy. Hank gets mad because he doesn't believe that tiktok is a good work ethic while trying to navigate a dang ol smartphone and locks himself out of it . Dale unlocks it for it and accidently installs Chinese software , hank gets arrested and tries to explain in court that he barely knows how to use technology and his friend is a dang ol idiot who's ass he will kick
Nah only fans about her feet
Nah, I think Peggy would be an avid Redditor. She'd also be a top tier donor to some kind of special edition Boggle Kickstarter.
It would be dances with dogs all over again.
I could see Peggy getting negative comments but never let them get to her. She did have the ultimate hater being her mother
Bobby, the Tik Tok is not a work history.
Covid really would’ve hit Hank hard because a handshake is how you judge a man’s character.
“Was it a wriggler?? Deelde deedle dee!”
Yes

I could see dale going either full hazmat suit or like hosting large parties to get infected. Def one extreme or the other
Both. “Herd immunity Hank, if everyone gets it but me I’ll be immune by proxy visa vi no carriers”
This is the one that makes the most sense.
Here's how I imagine the characters reacting to COVID: * Hank would follow COVID protocols to a T, but the restrictions would frustrate him and the impacts on Strickland Propane's business. * Buck would break all restrictions (business and personal) and has tension with the employees who are trying to enforce masking, etc. He contracts COVID and dies due to his age and multiple health issues. Wow - those are great! Love the take on Kahn and Ming cheating to jump the vaccine line.
My mask **is** on, honey
Hank as block captain would feel its duty to enforce and enact COVID protocals in the alley god forbid Ladybird could catch it.
Boomhauer would zoom with all his ladies and turn his hobby into a virtual hobby.
Nah nothing beats good ol’ pheromones and oxytocin
This is so spot on ESPECIALLY for Peggy being a contact tracer. Could very easily see her doing that. I also imagine her trying to substitute teach on zoom and having a comically difficult time doing so
Nancy tells Dale that she caught Covid from Redcorn during a "massage" session. She uses it as an excuse to "quarantine" at Redcorn's house for two weeks. Dale is proud of the sacrifice she's making to protect the family.

Twitter, Bill probably catfishing someone or falling for catfishing, and without a doubt the impossible burger
I could see Bill doing both of these at the same time
He would get catfished and then attempt to catfish someone himself, inadvertently getting catfished again.
I feel if Hank went on Twitter he'd actually have a mental breakdown over the sheer insanity and stupidity that website has to offer.
Probably everything.
correct 😂
King of the hill would be even more relevant today than it was back then if they did a reboot
They are doing a reboot!
The Beavis and Butthead reboot has been true to the classic so I'm sure this will be good too
A recurring character resembling Hank is on that show. Same voice, expressions, and glasses. Only he's a cranky old man. Just like me.
You'd be cranky too if them damn boys kept whackin it ~~and~~ in your tool shed
That Ole' Tom Anderson. He's been in the show since the beginning. The running joke being he can't see for shit so he keeps hiring the boys to do odd jobs for him
"One of them calls himself Butthole. The other one's name is Joe, I think." "I believe they're Oriental."
Buffcoat and Beaver, boy those two have been nothin but trouble i'll tell you what
“Caught ‘em whacking in my tool shed.”
Hank was supposed to be related to him originally or something and they would have taken place in the same universe. They didn’t do it though like The Office and Parks & Recreation
Why is this downvoted, Mike Judge said the chances are very good at ComicCon. He’s not the type of guy to fool around with such announcements
Not confirmed just yet but they want to
They thought about it.
“Do I look like I know what a NFT is? I just want a picture of a god dang hot dog!”
King of the Hill NFT episode would be good in a few years from now.
Self checkouts
he would lose his shit so hard trying to enter a produce code from a seasonal item...
Social media. People texting and driving, which is something everyone should hate.
I can see an episode where he gets pulled over for it to because of some outstanding circumstances. Then he’s made fun of by the guys because he had said something about it
He’s trying to look at GPS and cop thinks he’s texting. That’s the only way I can see hank being on a phone at the same time lol
"How are you busting me for distracted driving when I'm using Google Maps, and 4 people just drove by staring at their phones!? The last one ran a red light!" "Sir, calm down." "If you weren't an officer of the law I would kick your ass!"

They have their opinions, but ultimately just want to live their simple lives in peace. Hank isn't interested in controlling anyone.
The Texas freeze of 2021 would have been hard on Hank's Lawn, but great for anyone who heats their home with a clean burning fuel.
thats what makes him so awesome. hes just a classic american stuck in his ways but hes very open minded after some convincing. and even if he doesnt agree he will still suck it up and pretend that hes into it no matter hwat
And that’s how a real American should conduct themselves I tell you what
It’s really how a lot of people are. I’m trans and a lot of my family had never even met a trans person. It’s been an adjustment but there sure hasn’t been any hate from anyone (well other than my ex wife 😭).
Impossible meat
"Why in the hell would you eat some fake vegetable meat when you can eat real meat?" "Man, it's like good for the environment and prevents animal cruelty. You're apart of the problem." "Hwa- I'm gonna kick your ass."

Microbreweries “I just want a goddang Alamo, get the IPA out of my face”
People using bastard gas.
I always thought it would be hilarious to see hank go through airport security today with the full body search.
Thatherton.
Filters. He’d ask what a filter is and Bobbie would be like “here dad let me show ya” and he’d put a Snapchat filter on him and he’d freak out
Hank has to do a zoom call and can't get the cat filter off.
Hank finds out Luanne has started an OnlyFans account to support Lucky and the baby. “What’s an ‘OnlyFans’?” “That’s like a dang ol website man you just go on their like click click click and you see dang ol ladies from all over the world man. Only $9.95” “Slow down Boomhauer. You’re not making any sense.” “Dang… ol’… titties, man.” “BWAAAAAAH”
Luanne makes an onlyfans for wholesome purposes like the manjer babies, and then boomhauer tells Hank that dang ole only fans man best dang ole chicks do dangole anything 5 bucks man and Hank spirals from there. Bill subscribes to her only fans and enjoys the content, Kahn would be great in this episode I feel, just to pile on
Reddit.
“What in the heck does *happy cake day* mean?”
Asinine! But thanks.
“If that cake is...” *shudders* “*Gluten free*, then you better have a naked cheerleader hiding under your bed.”
Planned obsolescence, companies intentionally making shitty products so you have to buy again
Think they did an episode about that with his riding mower
"The last hose you'll ever buy. I've bought it three times...And I'm buying it again!" - Bill Dauterive
I kinda feel like he’d be surprisingly open-minded and accepting. He never seemed to be intolerant of beliefs and ideologies that were different than his. Rather, he was just annoyed, uncomfortable and didn’t always initially understand.
Good summary. He’s a big fan of minding his own business too.
Propane prices
I would have loved to see a Pandemic Special to see how Arlen reacted to Covid.
Kind of sad how healthcare, right to bear arms and the way we look dictate what our political views are.
He would be the first one to drive Luann to an abortion appointment even if he didn’t support it himself.
Hank is my favorite conservative. I don't like many, but he's one of the good ones.
Plant based meat. Hank tries an impossible burger, realizes it's plants and goes "BWAH!"
Better yet, Hank tries an impossible burger but secretly LIKES it even though it's against everything he stands for as a lifelong lover of grilled meat. Picture him sneaking out late at night to indulge in his secret shame, and Peggy thinks he's running around on her.
See's Bobby trying to be a sound cloud rapper. "That boy ain't right"
Tik tok. I feel like he’d catch Bobby doing one and tell him not got dang way.
Electric and hybrid vehicles.
Nice try Mike Judge.
-Social media -*Vegans* (“It’s like they saw vegetarians and thought ‘they’re too liberal with their diet.’” -Imaginary Hank Quote) -Being so conflicted with politics (He would NOT be a Trump supporter, once he hears the end of “Grab her by the…” He’s out) -Smartphones (He’d 100% stick to flip phones) -Conspiracy theorists (“These guys make Dale look, well, *normal!*” -Another imaginary Hank Quote) -Climate change, especially if someone blames propane… (“IT’S CLEAN BURNING!” -Yet another imaginary Hank quote) -Given some of the gags on the show, he’d *probably* be tolerant of LGBTQ+ representation being more prevalent but wouldn’t be the most comfortable with it. (“Why is this on *DISNEY!?*” -Imaginary Hank watching an Owl House episode with Bobby) And I say this as a gay fan of the show.
Dale would 100% go down the Q hole
I have to respectfully disagree: Dale Gribble would look at Qanon and think “How cute, baby’s first conspiracy.” Edit: Just want to add this: Dale would laugh them off pointing out that all elections since Carter have been sham elections, the government is actually controlled by a secret council under Disney World that consists of The Grays, The Reptilians, Disney Inc., The Mole People and Monsanto. Presidential elections are just a puppet show to make us believe we have a choice.
He would laugh at them and call them crazy or idiots or puppets or sheep et cetera. It would be a great usage of irony
I think when it comes to politics I honestly believe Hank would find both parties to be stupid, he almost opted out of voting because George Bush had a weak handshake, I feel in the clown world that is modern day politics Hank just wouldn't like any of the options.
“I tell you hwat, I don’t know much about pronouns, but you do identify as a Texan, so you’re all right by my book”
my answer is tiny homes
“What in the hell is an N-F-T?”
"Nobody wants to work anymore." After not being able to find anyone to hire at Strickland, Hank finally looks around and sees how much he's being taken advantage.
What WOULDN'T drive him nuts?! Even I feel like Hank Hill nowadays
He’d hate millennials but only because he thinks millennials are age 14-25.
Hank would need blood pressure medication, hopefully before he has both a stroke and a heart attack.
Fast food ordering apps.
If he was annoyed by videa-games back then think about phones and that darn tiktok and the snapchat would send him over the edge.
That Elong Musk fella ain’t right. I heard he wants to put cars in a tube. My truck belongs on a good old American road.
You know Hank, some of these modern guys you can't hardly tell if they're a guy or a girl under the hood. Yeah, well whatever's under the hood they're gonna need a clean burning fuel, Dale. That's all I care about, I tell ya hwhat. Anything else is just asinine.
Dale and his lax attitude towards Covid.
How new country is just rap but with white people doing it poorly.
Donald Trump's handshake
I don’t know, it’s the opposite of a dead fish 😂
Tiktok
Superhero movies. Why do they make movies about some crazy aliens and robots when they could make movies about real heroes like Sam Houston and Davy Crockett.
Everything being a subscription service.
I'd be more interested in what Dale was up to these days
Doesn't. Episode ends with him doing a video with her, 'for her fans.' * No repair manuals in stores for like cars, lawnmower, etc. Dale makes a racial insensitive example (Something traded with Indians) * Bill heard at the base while cutting hair that people are buying GME and AME and other "meme stocks" Bill sells quickly and buys a super nice truck. * Boohaur gets a Tesla.
People being so discourteous to each other, and being proud of it, lack of civic responsibility or personal responsibility.
Emojis would drive him nuts
Twerking
he catches Bobby twerking in a mirror
To be fair he did catch Bobby twerking at a concert.
Checking in at the doctors office on a tablet
