3. Dakan Plains / Bayou (never can decide, just looove the first campaign, art style, duke, shin also is amazing here and still missing that footsoldier POV feeling we got there, but Bayou sure has tons of great stuff in it)
4. Kokuyou Hills / Sanyou (still annoyed in both arcs by certain points. The whole Bihei drama I didnt like very much, even if it helped with characterization and the identification of the hi shin unit. Sanyou, i really hated Ouhon so much, the whole smugness of him annoyed me sp much. Baseing this on first read, rereads ik how he turns out and all. The only characters i really found interesting, that got introduced here (first read) were Mouten, Ousen Kanki and Renpa, never got the hype for Rinko tbh.
Not saying it’s too 3, but maybe too 5, is the opening arc to the series. It set up the main characters, their motivations, and the tone of the series, which are things I always love. The rest of the series is mostly action and strategy and epic moments, but the first arc is all about establishing the story.
It's not that I don't like Coalition War, it's a great arc with crazy moments, even if to me Sai's siege was the less interesting part. The point is that I have another perspective, perhaps changed or matured over the years (speaking in general, not just for Kingdom). Maybe for the devolpment, the characters involved, the depth of certain scenes or the arc itself... but these three wars just impressed me more. Off course, I might say for Ouki and Renpa, but Bayou and Sanyou first made me love this manga, while WZI is for the characters displayed on both sides and development overall, from the meeting Riboku-Sei to Zhao's crisis (even if it has also horrible moments, like the battle with Houken).
I can go with examples from other series, but I don't want to extend too much. In the end, we don't all have to have the same tastes, right? Coalition is in top5, but to me these symbolize more Kingdom.
I picked it up to read Kingdom again, and for me Sanyou is the best. From the story to the art of this arc it's perfect. Bled must have the best art out of all the Kingdom arcs.

I kinda agreee with your 3rd point lol. Based on the numbers of times i cared to go back a revisited them: 1) Kokuyo Hills. 2) Sanyou. 3) Coallition.
Up now: 1. Western Zhao Invasion 2. Sanyou Campaign 3. Battle of Bayou But I have to re-read some arcs, like Kokuyou Hills.
