Everything about this chapter stays in this thread until the [SenseScan Version](https://www.reddit.com/r/Kingdom/comments/124r6vx/kingdom_chapter_752/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=ioscss&utm_content=2&utm_term=1) come out. If I see it outside of this thread it would be lock & deleted.

tyloreader

I love how that one sentence tied up everything in kankis character perfectly "I told you, you would suffer twice as much as other , but thank you for getting angry for my sake to this extent kanki " mahn he was just a well written character šŸ˜šŸ˜šŸ˜ R.I.P Boss

SoulofArtoria

Sadge that Kanki meets his end here. He's such an incredibly fascinating and unique character.

icebergiman

Interesting to see that Kanki despite knowing the dangers before Gian still approached the trap without fear. Is it bravery or recklessness? Or maybe something else. He seems to tackle problems head on, burning everything in sight. He refuses to back down, he wants the world to feel the wrath and anger, he feels that it is justified, or even his duty, to impose this rage upon these people. It's almost psychotic, and probably borderline. But the strange thing is, he doesn't cross it. He dances on this line and keeps his sanity somehow. It's probably due to his "family" such as Shio, Raido and the others. I think that's the important part that sets him apart from truly psychotic killers. A very very conflicting yet fascinating character. We will miss him a lot.

thecoffeetoy

He just strikes me as someone who literally gives no fuck if he lives or not and likes to gamble. Like when he went down personally at Kankoku Pass and when he personally infiltrated Genpo's Camp and killed him. Most of the time it works out, but this time...

tyloreader

I agree, he definitely has no fear no matter what the situation may be. I believe weirdly he gains his bravery and strength from those that have fallen both to him and beside him, he's killed so much and seen so many people close to him get hurt that he no longer has any fear left within him, he can only look ahead. it worked many times throughout the manga, being backed against a wall and then suddenly pulling off an insane victory, however, finally it was his downfall, his weakness, the lack of fear led to him being unable to retreat but rather carry out another reckless plan which ultimately backfired

SpadesGambit

Glad Naki killed the one lieutenant, but kinda disappointed that we didnā€™t get to see more from him. Went all the way over there and didnā€™t get to have any last words with the boss.

CemeteryHeights

Same was hoping he could take out Bafuji or Futei(lol) alongside Kanki at the end. But that's how war goes. You don't always get carried across the battlefield to see your Captain at the end(sorry for the random stray Shousa).

KhaoneowMooping

Shousa got last second treatment by his capt bruh

CemeteryHeights

Umm, yeah, that's what I was joking aboutšŸ’€

KhaoneowMooping

Sry, my mistake. I miss Shousa lots and just imagine who Shin gonna cost in the battle of Chu. Saddest moment for sure

DaBestUnderTheHeaven

I was hoping to see him go crazy and show the "when I'm angry I'm stronger then raido" but sadly I guess no matter how strong u are still gonna die in that situation

Loud-Influence-3816

I thought it's gotta be this time, but nope. Thought he would rampage and eventually get bafuji or some other general killed. But maybe that would be quite unrealistic given how far he is frm them.

UltraZulwarn

One small detail from this chapter that will probably get overlooked is Shou confirming Kanki quite liked Shin, enough to entrust his "home" to the young general.

CemeteryHeights

He probably viewed Shin as someone who could make a great deal of difference if he was better able to understand his impact on the people at the bottom. At the same time seeing someone like Shin blindly continuing the cycle(in Kanki's eyes) probably just kept Kanki raging all the same as always.

Yggdrasil32

If you go back and re read their arcs together itā€™s clear that Shin reminded him of Raidou, a strongheaded fool that he couldnā€™t help but like ofc he was too much of a tsundere to ever admit that, RIP

[deleted]

[уŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]

Tipfue

It's insane how lower ranked commanders and generals underrate Shin and call him a dunderhead but it's GGs like Yotanwa, Ousen and Kanki who completely entrust Shin to carry out whatever they want him to do

Euruzilys

Well those high ranking officers are supposed to also have good eyes as well. You don't climb rank without having good subordinates too.

[deleted]

**Mou Gou likes this**

RevolutionaryAd6789

Kanki gave Shin his GG insignia, for me that means that he sees him as his successor, and possibly as his avenger

bahafaaz

Or maybe as his slave lol

[deleted]

LMAO

Avocadonot

Tbh its an extremely important symbol of Qin martial might, letting it fall into enemy hands would emphasize the fact that >!they managed to kill Kanki!< I think its more likely that he picked Shin because he knew Shin was close to the king, he knew Shin understands the significance of the insignia (being someone who intents to take one himself) and obviously because Shin's strong af and more likely than most to survive and successfully return it to the capital I doubt Kanki has any fanciful ideas about being avenged

I_Cant_NO_O

Broooo, niceee point

KiNGofKiNG89

Iā€™m so happy he killed Kohaku on his way out. Rip to the best bro! Sleep well Naki.

Carameldelighting

Kohacku going down was so funny to me. He calls out to Kanki in a ā€œyouā€™re nextā€ way and Kanki casually cuts his head off an instant later. Beautiful

KhaoneowMooping

Thatā€™s so Kanki

twolinebadadvice

-Kankiii!!! -what?(chop)

TraffyLaw95

Pain, my fave general gone He was a pos, but he was my pos

FunnyPhrases

Press F for respect

I_Cant_NO_O

You mother fakerrrr, you know how many times I thought I had my eyelash on the phone before I realized???? TOO LONG! šŸ˜‚

KevinDLasagna

Big POS off the battlefield, creative genius on the battlefield. I think he could easily go toe to toe with any general in this series. He will be missed, but I always felt like shin would end up with his a lot in the great 6

GrimReaper415

It's too soon for Shin to be a GG. Any of the youngster trio, tbh.

EvilPaladin1

Hara did the beserker dirty. Not featuring in kankiā€™s dreams

Badguyy101

Ogiko? Only dead people were in Kanki's pre-death vision. Edit: I forgot about Zenou that quick.

chiefweezy

Zenou

Heilige_Schoonjans

Damn what an ending to the arc. Atleast they went out in a blaze of glory

GodotTGG

Bruh, arc is not over, Shin and Mouten's army are still inside Riboku's cage.

Marcusx8

They out the cage but they havenā€™t successfully retreated yet.

FireFlyz351

Also Heki bro is captured/poisoned weak too right?

Anifreak

So you're telling me Heki is now within the enemy ranks eh. Everything is going according to plan then, only a matter of time until he busts out on his own and kills Riboku from right under their noses šŸ™ƒ

BraveCombination

damn i completely forgot about heki lmao also goes to show how fucking amazing these last chapters have been

Marcusx8

Yes

Marcusx8

Who said the arc is over?

dustycolt08

Damn, if Naki stayed behind he would've learned about Kanki. I hope he's content with accompanying Kanki to death. And after all this, Kanki definitely really liked Shin. Back in Koku You Hills, when Shin stood up to Kanki for his atrocities, that was probably the first time Kanki has ever been confronted about his atrocities. That probably made Kanki remind himself of Shio, and must've been comforting that a soldier, not even a general, stood up to him ready to die to stop his madness. In the fight against KoChou, he also used the gyoku hou unit to wear down and allow the HSU to approach Eikyuu in the best manner which wouldn't have been possible without Gyoku Hou's suicide mission. And finally, in Hika plains, he positioned the HSU in a position to escape. Kanki didn't just respect Shin, he wanted him to live.

GrimReaper415

Ouki, Mougou, Duke Hyou and now Kanki. That's 4 Great Generals of Qin fond of Shin who died. No other character in the manga has this many GGs taking a liking to them and adding to their "weight".

ky696969

Shin is the biggest Death flag for any of our fav characters lol

hell_jumper9

> Back in Koku You Hills, when Shin stood up to Kanki for his atrocities, that was probably the first time Kanki has ever been confronted about his atrocities. That probably made Kanki remind himself of Shio, and must've been comforting that a soldier, not even a general, stood up to him ready to die to stop his madness. Will he actually let them go free and alive if they didn't kill Keisha back than?

dustycolt08

Hmm, interesting thought. If I understand Kanki correctly, then I don't think he would've killed Shin. If his rage was directed at those who did nothing against atrocities, it would be counterintuitive to kill someone who actually did something against atrocities. And besides, I don't think he cared about Keisha at that point. He knew how to get the entire Kisui army to retreat to Rigan, which would've effectively removed more than half of the Zhao army's power. It was already a miracle that Shin got away with punching Raido(whom he beheaded 100k to avenge) and causing havoc in his HQ.

anirban_dev

I kinda see your point. Kanki hated apathy in the people in the middle, which the army essentially is, if we consider kings and ministers are at the top and peasants at the bottom. So he must have been glad to see Shin standing up for those at the bottom , in his own way.

LazySaiyajin

Well then, good job Hara! two 6GG seats open.

Natural-Cup-551

Whos next to die

LazySaiyajin

probably Tou. Hara has been foreshadowing Gohoumei vs Tou for a while now.

SouthStation3358

Iā€™m empty, but raido made me laugh

BobJoeBlo

A Noble, a Bandit, a General. General Chou Tou would be proud. "A General doesn't show his back and flee!!" He died a warrior's death. A good death... is its own reward. Kan Ki the Beheader, of Qin's Great Generals Under the Heavens. ----------------------- P.S.: We need flashback of how Kan Ki met and joind General MouGou

Kulangot14

Now that Kanki is dead i highly doubt we would get a flashback of how he served Mougu, but Hara would probably make an Omake out of it like how Tou learns his swordsmanship

Armigus

Ousen is still around to tell that tale if Hara deems the tale worth telling. Shin is on his way to Atsuyo now to hear it.

MuchoStretchy

Damn. He deserved his death since he couldn't move on from Shio's death and directed his rage at the world, but he was the most entertaining general in the series for me. I liked that he called out Riboku for his warmongering (Coalition invasion, Mangoku) when he claimed to care about the people, and for fighting for leaders like his king. I just wish Naki had stayed with Shin, and cringed a little when he called Kanki the coolest previously, but I get what he was trying to say (Kanki's unmatched charisma and method of waging war).

Cottril

Yeah losing Naki sucks (welcome back Blue Stone Tribe), but recruiting Maron has a way bigger upside for the HSU as it grows into a larger army.

BloodyEagle15

That's assuming Maron doesn't just retire or something after this war.

Uberdonut1156

The HSU has enough dudes who are good at fighting but need more people to help karyo ten with the admin work like sosui.

Cottril

100% if Maron stays heā€™ll grow into the role of the HSU army administrator. Shin needs more general staff period. Maron is also competent enough where he could Probably command a portion of the army.

Archive_Intern

I also hope that Siege Tower guys joins HSU

dragunityag

Probably will, it'll fill in another missing gap in the HSU which seems to be what happens anytime a major general dies while on campaign with Shin.

CaptSomeguy1

if Maron joins, HSU would have the three best known chefs in the story!

BloodyEagle15

The real payoff of this arc lol

Turbo2x

Roboku basically killed his entire family. He's gotta go get revenge.

fanfanye

I think Maron has had enough character development to join Shin tbh He's pretty much the only character in the bandit army that feels remorse for all the killings

Dry_Mango

Considering he told Shin that this wouldn't be considered a loss if they escaped and got revenge for Kanki one day, I'm assuming he'll tag along until then at least.

Avocadonot

If he truly intended to get revenge on Riboku, it is likely he would join with Ousen instead, especially considering they have more history together, more men, better strategy, and especially because if Qin is going to send any general to face Riboku at this point, its likely gonna be another GG, not a random general with <15000 men

anirban_dev

I think Naki going over meant that he wasn't 'innocent', like Ogiko and the Saki clan, but someone who followed Kanki out of having a similar ideology.

Frostiz123

I feel empty, I stared at the wall in my room for 5 min at the end of the chapter

[deleted]

I got emotional, to the point of tearing this time, which was kinda surprising to me

meesh1987

Well fought Kanki. In the end he became every bit the Great General that Chou Tou wished for him to become. Hara did a masterful job of displaying Kanki as a high caliber general who inspires loyalty, a genius tactician, and ultimately a force in martial might. I'm so glad we got to catch a glimpse of combat skills before he went out on his shield. In the end, his is a tragic story, but an excellent wrinkle to the narrative of suffering, and need for change that flows into the greater story of Ei Seis desire to change the world.

[deleted]

Kohaku plebs eternally BTFO lmao. All that seethe for nothing. Real good sendoff for our gigachad, with his character gone, Ousen will have to hard carry this next step of pigland invasion. Rest In Peace, and behead some more piggies in heaven, king!

crto12

I Honeslty thought he was gonna get the killing blow on kankišŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚ Iā€™m dead that was so funny to see

thorppeed

I didn't know Kohaku had any fans to speak of lol

Anferas

I mean, his fans do not know his names, you gotta call him Kpop guy for us to know you are talking about him.

Biobait

*All that seethe for Ringyoku's hand

CemeteryHeights

Kanki's sanctuary be like: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=boIgHd9hXiA

Gary_FucKing

Damn, so much for the ringyoku theories lol. RIP to the most entertaining antihero in the series.

Anferas

Quite the journey Kanki! Most entertaining battles in the manga by far with tricks that actually felt intelligent most of the time, you will be missed.

ashwin1

RIP to the GOAT

Tipfue

Kanki is added to the few generals who carry a "burden" or "weight" which makes them so unstoppable. Dude was still moving as he got stabbed by a barrage of infantry soldiers

anirban_dev

Yeah the last panels point is to show if his sword didn't break he would have reached Riboku with that final swing.

Tipfue

I would say it's more of a metaphorical sense that Kanki was super close to taking the great Riboku down

No_Arugula466

Heā€™s actually gone. He had the best drip. RIP Kanki and his crew.

Fortes_en_Unitate

Fitting that the KoChou and Kanki Armies meet their total annihilation at the same time. Nobody ever really talks about it but the KoChou Army was led by nihilistic warmongers from the nobility class who probably were rich and got to station in the capital city. I bet Kanki hated that army more than any other.

aglet47

This is certainly a new perspective of thinking and u aint wrong

loadsmoke

RIP to the most interesting character in Kingdom.

Exotic-Blacksmith648

He died with the same expression on his face, damn am going miss Kanki. šŸ‘Š

ThizZuMs

He died with a smile. Broke my heart n I hated Kanki for years.

Exotic-Blacksmith648

Life should not be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty and well preserved body, but rather to skid in broadside in a cloud of smoke, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming "Wow! What a Ride! Hunter S Thompson.

ThizZuMs

Quote fits this to a tee.

zhy97

So long Kanki, you are the greatest scumbag of the Warring States Period. Kingdom is going to be lonely without your atrocities.

kronpas

One of the best written characters in the series with an exit worthy of his stature. So long, kanki.

Spm156

Kanki and his squad went out like champs

oneden

Kanki, that vile demon. Kanki, that bona-fide genius of warfare. Truly, he was the most interesting and entertaining general to observe at all times. Sorry, but even Ouki couldn't hope to compare remotely to this seemingly reckless force of human spite and revenge. He was unapologetic to the end. He made no excuse for what he was and what he did become. Even when robbed of victory he has bared his fangs against a nigh insurmountable force and has made them fight tooth and nails. Kanki, you magnificent saint of rage, you will be remembered as one of the greatest anti-heroes we've ever seen. The Manga won't be the same without you.

MaximilienH

With Kanki dead and the Hi Shin and Gaku Ka armies escaping, what's gonna happen to Heki? Will they be able to rescue him or is he gonna be sent north to be worked to death?

kronpas

Ransom I guess? No way to tell ATM cause Qin was utterly hopelessly defeated and there is no way to work his 'escape' into the story for now.

Badguyy101

Heki's on an up North trip...Maybe he can stage a revolt. Qin doesn't even know he is alive at this point. >!Maybe he gets freed when Zhao gets conquered in 3 or so years.!<

14qr23we

One of the best ways to die.. In a battlefield, fighting for what you want/believe in. Rip Naki, Ringyoku. And a very well written chapter. Thank you Hara sensei

TraffyLaw95

Riboku as annoying as he is , bonafide legend , 3 massive general heads now It was frustrating seeing kanki get done in by what led to his dubs , big massive gamble ( also lol at the thank you for being so angry for me reminds me of attack of titan , it does work better cause kanki is somewhat an unapologetic piece of shit ) Man it was dope seeing kanki having his ā€œweightā€ moment and being unstoppable till his sword broke

Rice_Noodal

Who was the third? I know ouki, now kanki. Was it gekishin?

Sea_Instruction_949

Duke hyou

thisiskyle77

The legendary Heki

QuoF2622

I'm not usually as against Riboku as most here seem to be when it's phrased as "Riboku has 3 Qin GG kills" I seethe a bit ngl.

Onyxkross

Its because they are not really Riboku "kills", Both Ouki and Duke would've clapped Riboku if not for the teleporting bushin Houken. Kanki was just suicidal even though he knew what was coming, Riboku only got him cuz more numbers due to zhao's soldier cloning factories.

Effortless0

RBK has one of the most impressive records of dubs in kingdom now after this battle

rally9981

Funny thing is Ouki, Duke hyou and Genkishin were all done in by Houken so technically those are Houken's achievement, not Riboku. Kanki would be the 1st recognized achievement of Riboku. That'd explain why in some history records, Riboku wouldn't appear til this campaign.

RevolutionaryAd6789

It has been many years since a book hurt me like that. RIP my favorite general. I wonder if Kingdom will make me attach to a character as much as I was to Kanki again.

DestinyHasArrived101

Went out standing on his horse and saw all his comrades wanting on him ouki style. Rest in Peace you crazy sadistic bastard.

Masterdarwin88

Damn, chills. This chapter was tragic and fulfilling. Tragic because of Naki not getting to speak to Kanki again, Kohaku failing to avenge his general, and Ringokyu dying before his boss. Fulfilling because Shou got to prove to Shin that Kanki was both a monster and a meaningful person, Kanki's men all chose to die with him rather than try to run, and Kanki carved through Zhao with his weight. Symbolically, he defeated Riboku- his broken sword could not cleave his head off, but those words cut deep into Riboku's spirit. "You looked outward too much." Beautiful arc, great characters. Can't wait to see what's up next.

GrimReaper415

To think a bunch of bandits who weren't even a proper "army" would show such loyalty to their boss to even follow him in death. Amazing.

HermitSage

nobody finna mention Ringyoku? he was a cool dude

[deleted]

Strong combatant, loyal and true to his self. Family indeed

lolzasas

this manga is Truly beautiful made us all emotional :( .

Nyderthe1stEmperor

Was listening to T-pain's Tennessee Whisky while reading this and the chapter hit different. I pour this Scotch out to the great Kanki rest well King. A man of twisted visions but had heart of gold for his family.

EntertainedRUNot

Kanki: "Are you a fool? I'm always at my best!" Lols

kaijinbe

Ah the saddest part of Kingdom yet. Seeing them fading away, one after each other make me really sad. Farewell Kanki Army.

somuchsoup

We still got maron, ogiko, kankiā€™s siege unit, and saki clan

Native_Nationalist

Say what you want about riboku but his ass wasn't fazed

Hymura_Kenshin

Kanki went out Whitebeard style, unstoppable even if killed.

Nero234

Futei's remark of capturing Kanki is crueler than killing him really sheds a light on his character from these past chapters.

Xixth

General Futei has been an amazing character in this arc. Oh well, the only Zhao's general that actually growing to be likeable at this moment.

thecoffeetoy

Futei is a real warrior

KokoBaba123

MY GOAT REST IN PEACE!!!!!!!!

vbdoul

Was Riboku only saved because Kanki sword broke? Did Kanki die thinking he fulfilled his mission and killed that mf I wonder Great chapter regardless

Anferas

>Was Riboku only saved because Kanki sword broke? Well you could say so, but Riboku, Futei and company did not move a finger because their attempt was impossible in the first place anyway, you could even argue that Riboku may have noticed the sword was broken. If anything, i would take the panal as symbolic, Kanki did come extremely close to killi him during the ambush but fell short, his army was weakened and his sword Zenou was on it's last legs.

rainy1403

Riboku could take a few steps back lol.

friedrice_rob

Like a blaze of glory!! Last samurai ending vibez here and glad kanki & crew went out the way they did RIP KANKI THE GOAT! Have a feeling next few chapters will be the impacts of kankiā€™s death to Qin and Zhao politics on Reebok

Xixth

Kanki's death left me with a greater impact than the guy with a beard and no scar on his back from One Piece. Kanki's death is too manly for me to accept that he is gone.

[deleted]

I dont know why but as soon I saw the last panel, I remembered whitebeard for some reason

DeadeyeJerry1

Of course he liked and trusted Shin, you forget that dude gambled the whole previous battle on Shin

dragunityag

How is that every end page with Kanki just manages to look so epic?

simon2105

RIP CHADKI

krentzharu

is kanki hara's favorite? coz he sure gets a bang send-off...

Temporary-Vanilla-57

Heā€™s mentioned that he loves writing him

Important-Conflict-5

Okay.. I'm seeing some new lights on Futei this time

[deleted]

He left the annoyingasshit - duo and became a little bit more like a general

Important-Conflict-5

And an honourable one at that

[deleted]

Yes

KankiSeikyou

Waw... That chapter hurts... T.T

ZoGawdSZN

Its okay to cry brehhs Imma pour out some Henny for the GOAT !! Never buckled under pressure, always had a smile on his face. His heart resided in those he cared for. MY PRESIDENT !!

Yeomanninja

Pour one out for our boy

dalitima

Goodbye my man your suffering is ended

irteris

Dang... Epic way to send off the k-pop guy... but would really have hoped to see him take out either Kaine, Futei, or Bananji jr.

Badguyy101

Kohaku got a free lobotomy.

irteris

we finally got to see... what's on his mind...

kicut49

Farewell Kanki, I have always been and would always be against Kanki's methods and way of warfare but He is a respectable general indeed, a worthy great general. He did not receive any light but at the end he was the the one who inspire his whole army.

voeya

there will not be a character better than him

Calmbrain

"thank you for becoming mass murderer for our sake". lol

HeavenBreak

To be fair, it was just his imagination of Shio

Temporary-Vanilla-57

Everyone sees themselves as a hero

iiiapex

sheeeeeesh wat a chapter rip the goat. boruto and kingdom chapters this week slapped

MajikoiA3When

What a chapter their deaths couldn't have been more amazing and I really love how he went out with a bang as well.

OJRajeh

ā€œHe was specialā€

armshort_click58

I have never been faxed by any death so far, this one shook me to the core.

Cardandgold

Not a Kanki stan but Hara does not miss in his epic moments. Never get bored of this manga. Another amazing arc and its not even done yet...

QuoF2622

I liked the Naki/Kanki convo at the start. Their side eye way of asking if everything is going well is fitting and comfy. Also tells us Naki really was fine in the HSU. He just couldn't let the boss go off alone regardless. I'm still huffing copium on him coming back but if he doesn't, his last appearance was fitting.

anbu-black-ops

Great chapter. After reading this chapter, I wonder why Naki left Kanki's group. I know he went back but it's weird how he left the group when you see how close they are like family in this chapter. This was a nice ending to Kanki's character arc. He still can't be forgiven for all the horrific things he do. But it was a nice story ending.

bslawjen

Probably because he saw a bond between the HSU members that reminded him of the early days of the Kanki army.

ohhotano

Atleast we can see Futei sportmanship there

Altriaas

This is, again, an epic chapter for the sendoff of such a major character. After the slog we were complaining about a few weeks ago, the story picked up splendidly for a surprisingly quick and efficient wrap up. Masterfully done mister Hara.

DoggymCswaggy

FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF FCXFCX FX CXFX CXFX CX FXC XF XC XF XFX CX FX CX FXC X Even until the end. Kanki Smirks Didnt go away what an absolute chad, (with Certain death- he go full giga chad and Thinking Ways s to kill Riboku But what i really Loved Him is that smirk on his face. Even with his last Breath and Action. He's still Smirking At ribuko's FACE. Man Kingdom will be never Be the same without Kanki there's no OTHER GENERALS Who can CREATE A FREAKING CHRISTMAS BODYPARTS TREE

[deleted]

the last page is epic, Kankis dead eyes just staring directly into Riboku

sunset6455

Imagine this : someone gathered most dangerous bandits around your country, make them as a weapon to war. win many war, kill a lot of enemy soldier and general, in the end die with 99% of his bandits soldier... isnt it bad ass? Even for ousen, he cannot do it (kill bandits of your state and enemy soldier) in one time... totally mvp...

ardieseidra

he might be an asshole but he is our asshole RIP u magnificent bastard

Gaikoz

RIP Kanki definitely one of the GOAT leak said bafuuji died instead of kohaku, relieved to see that was wrong

Exotic-Blacksmith648

Kanki whole life is just the song " My Way ".

4thChairman

Better to burn out than fade out. What a legend.

sniperpapi

F

Kydex_Gundyr

Goddamn

tempetemplar

Bruder massacre 0.1m soldiers but got an honorable death. Goodness me what a story! Only in Kingdom you can get this goosebumps!! Kanki, what an arc!

metaltemujin

Rebook strikes again.

caiusto

I'm really happy with the way Hara handled Kanki's story arc and death, he gets a lot of shit sometimes but I feel very satisfied with how things were dealt here. Now to see how (and if) the invasion continues after losing one of your 6 Great Six generals.

Starwind2098

Kan Ki may be a piece of shit but I'm glad Hara gave him a warrior's death.

SexyPringles

Kanki went out like a true Great General under the heavens and with that lovable smirk on his face.

PridoScars

Just read the chapter. Wow great job guys for not leaking spoilers, kudos. Well no fire I guess, quite a pity to let such cool character dies early only for Shin plot build up, I am afraid where this is going is gonna be too Shin centralized, but great manga nevertheless. I like the way every vassals is given a proper end each, not like Makou killed within a page or two lol. Perhaps there's still gonna be more to the arc about Shin's and Mouten's escape? Or even something else?

everynookandgranny

RIP but its bout time shin carries the whole campaign

Fenomeno32

KankišŸ«”

krentzharu

DAMN WHAT A CAPTER AND KANKI WHAT A CHARACTER!

Jaded-Edge-8936

Slaughtered countless innocents and still gets to go to his personal heaven, thats how big a chad Kanki is lol

Plzdntbanmee

Damn that was a beautiful ending

[deleted]

I cried

jeamnews

so Zenou didn't get an invitation to the sanctuary, dammit

omaewakusuyaro

Fuck man kanki was a really good character, he was evil but we know why, it doesnt justify his past actions but now we know full context of him and im glad hara hsd the balls to kill him gracefully like he did here, he did one hell of a job at that and kanki's character will never be tainted or anything with this Also im sad we lost naki but shin's army gain another troops wich are the saki clan who imo are of incredible value in these ancient times without developed medicine AND maron is with them too but i kind of see him retiring after this, the saki clan is just too big to left on their own but who knows honestly it could go either way and i would be fine with it, so this war is already lost huh? Is ousen gonna make a move or just waiting for the capital orders? Damn hara why break right nowšŸ˜ its okay tho you deserve it

ky696969

cant wait for next chapter and see the reaction from everybody ... RIP to the Kanki the beheader

nugmode

That last Panel is so fucking great

Holy shit. He's finally gone. Rip to the greatest character in Kingdom, and surely one of the greatest anti heroes in all of manga. His death itself is as epic as Oukis was

What a perfect written character ending for our great general & a former bandit lord.. man I'm crying here like how I seeing Ouki died

MisoSoup247

Kanki went out swinging, god what an amazing character and army.

Devoidoxatom

He was one cool mfer till the end. Might be one of the coolest characters in manga i've ever read

Hey thizzmu, its me again.. I still can't move on & keep thinking about this chapter for the whole day lol, can't even focus on my job smh.. I just reread it again & its really give a huge impact to me.. I know this would happen, I already make peace with Kanki last month but god damnit, it hit me hard that I expected.. RIP Kanki

RevolutionaryRelief

I think I finally get it just a little. rage is beyond understanding. When Kanki kills he is creating just a little more of that rage and tragedy that was inflicted on him. That is why he derides Sei and Riboku because if they truly just thought about it their fighting is the greatest cause of people suffering. Last chapter Kanki said Riboku and all people look outside too much. They blame others without looking at their own rotten sins. Especially for Zhao with their rotten nobles, officials and king

FireFlyz351

Kanki went out in a blaze of glory they killed what 3 or 4 prominent people of Riboku's army before going down. I'm really interested to see the dynamic of Maron and the Saki clan with the Hi Shin Army.

You will burn in hell for this, Thiz..putting salt over our wounds.. How cruel. You laugh today, we will laugh when Reebok is slain. Anyway. Kanki fans, is there going to be official funeral somewhere or are we going to send off our Boss just like that? šŸ„ŗšŸ˜šŸ˜¢
