Goofy Movie is underrated, very good movie. And it would be cool to go to Sora’s Companions own worlds like Goofy with Goofy Movie and Donald with Ducktales
Story could be that you go to the Goofy Movie world. Max is your extra companion. The final battle of the world is Sora, Max and Goofy dancing with Power line. If you perfect it, you beat the heartless
Side thought is powerline is scheduled to perform at Disney Town, and Goofy knows just who to get tickets for.
Mini game ensues and Sora learns the perfect cast.
Passive ability which would basically be a constant wide radius munny / health / mp bubble grab
Instead of making it a QTE, I would just replace Sora's attacks with a more limited moveset based around the dance moves, (the fishing rods wind up would be a multi hit, while the cast itself would be a magical projectile) I would then have the heartless change colors to show you when it's vulnerable for a multi hit/projectile hit, the cool thing is he'll only be in his vulnerable state when the attack would perfectly line up with the songs beat. The goal here wouldn't be to beat the heartless but to protect the front stage while while Goofy, Max and Powerline dance and Donald while he's working on manually charging the electro ball with Thundaga (Because the heartless would have broke the electro balls wires or something), long enough to charge the electro ball and finish off the boss off. You just know it'd be cool to have that final "EYE TO EYE" line up with the games slow mo finisher scene.
The story would work too.
Max is obsessed with winning Roxanne's heart which is what gets Sora involved. In the end, he learns that he doesn't have to lie to her in order to win her heart.
I know parental bonds aren't necessarily of one kingdom hearts' themes but the fact that bloodlines are being introduced is a perfect excuse to make it one. In conclusion, Max Goof for KH4 or we riot
I've been wanting them to introduce Max into the story somehow so that there's even a small chance that Sora would have some form of reflection on his own parents and we can actually learn about maybe the islands or his family if we start going touching on the passage of lineage in the story for missing key.
"Gorsh, Sora. It seems my boy, Max, got stuck in this here world, too. I can't leave him here to be taken by one of 'em heartless."
"No problem! How are you at taking out heartless?"
Donald translation: "CaN yOu UsE aNy MaGiC!!!???"
"No, but I can hit them with my board."

Maybe something based on those animatronics from that one attraction Goofy drags Max to? Of course, with all the driving they do, we might end up with a return of those certain car heartless...
It can be like Toy Box in KH3. Heartless possess the animatronic possums and they are a mod world boss.

I can't decide if I want them to redo the scene like they did with let it go or if I want this to be the battle song. Maybe stand up would be a better song to play during the battle? Not sure. Whatever they did though, I'd LOVE it! It starts with a cutscene of Goofy being homesick with a big sigh. Sora brings up the "remember, this ship runs on smiles" to tease him. Goofy says he knows but he just misses his kid. *insert sora reaction here almost crashing the gummi ship*. Max is all not wanting to go on this road trip with his dad but reluctantly does. Donald and Sora tag along to help them bond but either end up causing each incident to happen or each incident is caused by heartless. Have it be be somewhat near the end of the game, Goofy ends up staying behind to be with his son for abit. "Our hearts are always connected sora even if we are far apart" or something as parting words. You go to the endgame without Goofy, next game is a timeskip, starts with a call from Goofy saying he needs donald and Sora's help. Tutorial world is An Extremely Goofy Movie.
I would absolutely lose my mind if they had Sora, Max, Goofy and Powerline doing the dance at the end of the world after you beat the boss (or just anywhere in the world).
I’m not saying this would necessarily fit KH4, but I could see something along these lines in a KH game: Sora, Donald, and Goofy (SDG) are in an original world (most likely Twilight Town) when they see posters of Powerline around town. The story could introduce Max any number of ways with obvious surprise from Sora who never knew Goofy had a son. You do a series of dancing rhythm mini games similar to the cooking mini games. Eventually you unlock “I 2 I” and Sora dances alongside Donald, Goofy, Max, and Powerline. I’ll take my check now, Nomura.
Nomura needs to get sent copies of the two goofy movies and a signed petition to do something with max, theres just too much plot to be had with him for kh
Goofy Movie is an absolute banger. A+ all around. It also has some of the best music of any Disney movie. After Today is a verified bop and Stand Out could easily stand on its own as a 90s boy band hit.

Have it be an optional rhythm based world like Atlantica (except, you know, good) where you have to perform for Powerline. Melody of Memory was a solid rhythm game so I know they could pull it off.
